Probably my new all time favorite tea! I could drink this all the time! I will never not have this in my home! It is an absolute must!
Brisk tea flavored with juicy oranges. Zesty orange rind dryness, hints of soft, sweet juice. Perfectly balanced cup.

Probably my new all time favorite tea! I could drink this all the time! I will never not have this in my home! It is an absolute must!
My favorite orange tea. I original got it in a set and then bought the full bag. I will be purchasing again
I love some orange. It wasnt as good as i wanted. The aroma was great very sweet and similar to an orange rind. It was quite bitter and astringent. Im not sure if Ceylon being the base is the cause of that.
I'm not sure where things went wrong, but this orange tea is so bitter, it made me sad because I have not been able to find a great orange tea, anywhere
Great orange tea at adagio! Smells very strongly of orange, but mellows when brewed. Perfect with a dash of honey.
Intense orange flavor in a strong black tea - if you like orange, you’ll love this! Give it a try!!!
Adagio has added the perfect amount of orange to enhance the drinking and smelling experience. I definitely recommend this tea.
This tea is a bit bland to me. I needed to add it to another as a blend to be able to slightly enjoy
I'm not a big fan of orange flavored anything, but this tea was actually surprisingly good. There was just the right amount of orange flavor to the tea so as not to overwhelm the taste. I enjoyed it.
This tea was underwhelming. The black tea flavor definitely covers up the orange flavor. Good if you like black tea.
Strong orange flavor with a balance of sweet, sour, and bitter. Maybe just SLIGHTLY too bitter. It's somewhat improved by honey.
This is pretty much exactly what I was looking for in and Orange tea. I wanted one that wasn't a 'spiced' orange and this was perfect. I do wish it was a little bit more orangey but overall I am very happy with it and drink it all the time. I do have to be careful not to over-steep it as it can turn bitter fast. Normally I can just leave tea in the cup as I drink it but this tea I have to take out after a couple minutes. Overall I recommend and I have bought again and will continue to buy again.
I would offer this tip to people who like this tea but don't quite get enough orange flavor out of it. If you feel th same, I suggest zesting an organic orange (so that it doesn't have all the pesticides in the rind), into the kettle when it is steeping, adjust amount to taste, it really adds enhances that orange flavor is missing. My blood orange tree is about to give e fruit for the first time, and I can't wait to use the blood oranges.
I like this tea, but I love Earl Grey Tea. This is sort of Earl Grey light. The orange definitely comes through, but I found myself missing the bergomet that so defines Earl Grey tea. It's not completely fair of me to compare this to Earl Grey, but it was so close!
I really liked the zing in the orange flavor of this tea! It was definitely a good way to start my day!
Delicious. Didn’t steep too long , used some sugar. Lovely.
July 24- liked it better this time *shrug*
I thought I would like this - I loved Apricot. But this tasted a little like black tea with Emergen-C powder in it.
I was shocked adding this to my favorites as I usually don't go for orange flavored anything except well and actual orange or squeezed into juice. This one had an amazing scent in the packet and blended into a great cup. I may have pulled a tad early on time only due to Ceylon bitterness being finicky with brew time. Ceylon was a decent back, but I would like to try a decaf of this one with different base. The orange is very zesty and sweet and so flavorful and really worked with a bold base though. I didn't get the citrus tart notes that you will get in citrus juices, but honestly it worked better without as a hot cup maybe a iced would be nice with some tart flavor added. 212° 3 min
Very fruity fragrant before brewing which excited me. The first steep was more bitter than I would like, but is what I expected. The orange flavor is mild and by the second steep, it dissipates into the black tea. I'll say the second steep is more enjoyable even if I like it more as a generic black tea rather than an 'orange' black tea. Its more of a 4 star rather than 3 but the name drops it by one.
It smelled pleasantly citrusy and had a strong orange flavor. It reminded me of chocolate oranges without the accompanying chocolate flavor. I think Ceylon was a good base with pleasant astringency, but I personally prefer an unflavored Ceylon. If you enjoy orange, this is a nice cup.
UPDATE: 8/26/25 I really enjoyed this so much more this time around, citrussy orange flavor was spot on, delicious, great start to my day!
So much potential here, I could tell it might have been really good, there was just not enough flavor, It wasn't bad by any means, just was hoping for a bit more orange.
CommuniTEA sample: 3 min @ 195 F. This smells very good, like sweet, candied orange rind. Unfortunately, that doesn't translate to the taste, it was quite bitter and astringent, the orange flavor is just something towards the back and doesn't really shine. I tried a lower steeping temperature so that the Ceylon wouldn't be too strong, but unfortunately it still was.
Not to dumb it down but my first sip was basically like taking a sip of citrus tea. It was so tasty and I enjoyed it so much.
Orange flavors are among my favorite, so I was already anticipating great things when I opened this one. Immediately, the aroma of bright, fresh orange peel hit my nose and livened my senses. I want to bottle the fragrance of this tea and wear it every day of my life. Admittedly, the taste of the brewed tea is not as potent as the leaves smell, and that was a disappointment. I added a bit of local honey and that did the trick. The floral notes of the honey really enhanced this one, and I found the taste deepening and becoming more pronounced as the tea cooled down. It was even better chilled completely.
The aroma of this tea screams juicy orange, but the flavor is closer to orange zest, which I don't totally mind. When I was younger, my family members always seemed insistent on getting me orange flavored teas as gifts when they heard I enjoyed tea. I think they were expecting something closer to Constant Comment but it always ended up being the weirdest or most artificial orange flavor, so this tea with its more natural flavors is highly welcomed, even being as mild as it is. I think a dash of sugar might help, but I'll take my tea straight.
This is one that sometimes can be a hit or miss for me depending on the amount of orange in the tea. Sometimes it can be a bit bitter if I steep it too long so I have to be careful. I enjoy this tea in the winter.
Overall dissappinting. I got some smell of orange, but barely any taste of it. Tea was also bitter, and strangely enough, I think sugar made it *more* bitter.
Not as citrusy as I wished for. Loved the black tea undertones but lacked some additional sweetness perhaps? Maybe I should have added a bit of sugar to see if that made the difference. Not bad, just not my favorite either.
It's really good when mixed with cream flavored black tea.
Great tea!!! One of my favorites!!! Very good with sliced oranges for a tangy taste!!
The flavor is a nice orange sub flavor to it. Doesnt need anything added but i prefer it hot to cold.
This is personally my favorite tea. I've had an orange black tea before, but had trouble finding it again until I found this site. It perfectly lived up to my expectations. The black tea is delicious and with some honey for sweetener, the orange flavor comes through really smooth.
Strong orange flavor makes this one so delicious. Great taste
Near perfect. Very fresh orange flavor with strong black tea. Makes excellent iced tea. It does have a little underlying bitterness if you leave it steeping but overall a nice bright cup.
I like the flavor of the orange tea
It's not a strong flavor but I will be buying this one again.
It seems like I am finding more teas to purchase.
I will have to purchase containers to put one pound of my favorites
This and the decaf version are one of my favorite teas. It smells wonderfully orangy when you open the bag and the taste is just as good.
Delicious. I love the fruit black teas and this one is no exception
I love orange and especially in tea. This is great as is it add cinnamon to it and it’s divine. It’s a comforting cup
The orange flavor comes through nicely in this tea, especially with a bit of honey
I. Love. This. Tea. It is a fantastic balance of black tea with a kiss of orange flavor.
Love this flavor! It’s a great base to blend and also just alone. I can have this one everyday.
This makes the perfect iced tea! It makes a nice black workout being too deep or bitter. The orange is the perfect refreshing hit.
This is a nice, fresh tea with a perfect orange flavor. The orange was perfectly balanced with the Ceylon and did not taste or smell artificial.
Love this tea! I usually go for the peach black tea but this one was great!
Mildly fruity tea. Not a lot of flavor, but still good.
Good tasting black tea with a hint of orange. It could use a bit more orange flavor
This is a delicious orange black tea! The orange flavor isn't artificial tasting and overpowering. It's a nice basic black tea with a little orange flavor. I also enjoy sipping this iced.
CommuniTEA packet. I can't have orange juice in the morning, so this was a nice substitute. I drank mine iced as it is summer and I am already too hot. ::chuckles:: The orange flavor was nice but not overwhelming.
Actually rather pleasant! The orange was not an overwhelming orange juice kind of taste which is what I was nervous about, but was a tasty background note
I enjoyed this tea. I added a few of Selefina chopped orange peel to the steep which accentuated the orange flavor a bit. On second steep I added just a touch of cream flavored black tea and 2 lumps of sugar. That made a nice dreamsicle type flavor. I got busy and the second steep cooled off so I added some ice and it was equally nice as an iced tea.
I personally don’t enjoy the try in the mouth when you drink black tea. I even brew it two times to help get rid of the black tea bitterness. But theirs not of orange favoring in this sample.
