For some reason I am just not into the mango flavors with tea. They don't seem very 'Mangoey' to me at all. Just okay.

Update: This is sooo much better with your sweetener of choice. The bitterness goes away and the flavors really pop!

1tsp per cup of filtered water, 4min steep, water was right at 210F, then to the fridge to cool and drank cold without ice. Tropical flavor hits you immediately. A very familiar version of such. Not one of fresh mango, but rather mango flavoring. Meh. Then the lingering taste of what I can only describe as almost tobacco. 4mins counted on a timer, so it wasn't oversteeped. Overall, I feel I'm being too hard on the tea as it's totally drinkable. I probably won't buy this one again, but could understand how some might really enjoy it. For reference, some others I enjoy are Ginger Peach, Almond, and the Thai Tea.

Good strong mango scent before and after brewing. A little sweetener goes a long way to bringing out the fruity taste!

I wanted to like this more. I've had this blend before, and was excited to try adagio's take on it. This one is perfume-y on the after taste. I've tried to lower the temp to 200 to see if that made a difference, but it just made the aftertaste worse.

Great subtle Mango taste. I am a sucker for a slightly flavored black tea and this one didn’t disappoint

One of my go-to teas that works well as a cold brew. Add some flavored syrup and it’s a great alternative to getting iced tea from a shop.

I've had mango tea from other brands of tea. From R. O. T., Pos, Cus, etc. I've found the tea from the other brands to be sour. I thought this mango tea would be sour. But, it isn't. I found it to be smooth and very delicious

I really enjoy this as an iced tea, more so than as a hot tea. I brew it hot to get maximum flavor, let it cool to room temperature, and then put it in the fridge. That's the way an iced tea should be made :)

This is a delicious fruit-flavored black tea. Steeping at 190 degrees avoided any bitterness and let the mango taste shine!

Very nice and clean mango taste. This one exceeded expectations as there are lots of mango teas on the market. Plenty of real tasty floral mango and sharp black tea. Enjoying this one.

★★★★★

The mango flavor is not overpowering but nicely highlighted. Definitely a favorite.

★★★☆☆

The marigold is overpowering - especially when using for an iced tea - and distracts from the mango flavor. Not sure why there's the need to add so much marigold to some of these flavored teas, but hoping future batches will minimize. I want a mango tea - not a floral tea.

★★★★★

Just the right blend of mango and black tea. It isn't overpowering and smells great. Perfect for any mango fan!

★★★★★

This tea was exactly what i expected. mango black tea. nothing more, nothing less. flavorful but not overpowering.

★★★★☆

Tasted pretty good, the mango taste holds up pretty well. (Cold brewed for 10 hours)

★★★☆☆

I am not a fan of flavored teas as they often taste artificial.

★★★★★

Delicious, fruity treat! I loved this one with cream and sugar.

Could not taste the mango in this tea at all, which was very disappointing. Just tasted like regular black tea.

Delicious! It has the perfect amount of mango flavor, and is wonderful hot or iced.

I purchased this as a gift and the recipient loves it.

I discovered this tea by purchasing the black tea sampler. What a find! this is very different from my usual tea choices of oolong, and assam. It is bright and sweet and mango-y. I have never been an iced tea drinker, but I thought the flavor would lend itself to iced tea as well as hot, and it certainly does. I will drink this during the Summer and thus reduce my soda intake. Healthy win!

★★★★★

I love this as an iced tea! Truly one of my favorites: it was our wedding party favor along with the Calypso Green (two options for guests, not blended).

taste fruity and juicy...just the right blend...it's also a good mix with black tea

★★★★★

Love the mango tea form Adagio. I've gotten other mango flavors and there is no comparison. Still my favorite year after year!

★★★★★

I went all out brewing this Mango tea! I added butterfly peaflowers, dandelion, hibiscus, more mango, orange peels, rose hips, rose petals, and fruit tisanes honey and steeped it a little extra than I normally would and MMM, it was so good!! The flavor really packed a punch with every sip. I would highly recommend this tea!!!

An excellent fruit tea. Not my favorite mango blend but one of the best Adagio fruit teas. I have to watch the steeping time closely, lest it brews up bitter. But overall a satisfying blend.

I was really looking forward to this tea, as I absolutely love the peach, and thought this would be a good alternative, but it's not as flavorful as I'd hoped. It's a solid black tea, but not much Mango to the flavor. I'm going to cold brew a batch and see if that brings out the flavor. I'll update if there's any changes.

I enjoy this because it’s sweet and tropical addition to my black tea. I drink it with sweet cream

Definitely on my reorder list. Just the right amount of mango in the mix.

The mango is good, but I find myself reaching for other teas more often. I don't think the actual black tea stands out.

★★★★★

Havent tried it yet but adagio teas are usually good

★★★★★

So far this one is shining well like the other citrus flavored black teas for me. Happy to have just the right balance of mango to tea flavor. This is one of my new favorites!

Perfect blend, the tea shines with a bit of honey and doesn't really taste bitter at all. Totally recommend

The black tea base for this mango tea was nice, as per usual for flavored Adagio black teas, but the mango flavor was so mild that it felt more like a vaguely fruity black tea than an actual mango flavored tea to me. It certainly wasn't bad, but it wasn't great, either.

★★★★☆

We’ve had multiple mango options in the CommuniTEA recently! Today’s mango was steeped at 195F. This normally is enough to prevent Ceylon from becoming too bitter, but it didn’t quite do the trick here. I did add a bit more rock sugar to get past extra astringency. Mango was faint when warm and became much more prominent as it cooled.

Wonderfully tropical and complex, the black tea is the dominate flavor while the mango is a subtle addition. You taste it the most strongly when you breath in or out of your mouth after as sip.

A nice, if somewhat plain, mix of black tea and mango. Not my favorite, but it’s pretty good. Steeped 3 mins @ 212°

I really didn't taste anything but banana, hot or iced. I steeped at 200° to avoid bitterness so maybe that's the issue.

Enjoyed as a CommuniTEA sample. I prepared it as an overnight cold-steep and added sweetener and boba. No bitterness was noted. A very mild mango flavor, but delicious.

Great tea glad I took the advice and steeped at 195, it was on the verge of becoming bitter bit it wasn't anything some honey couldn't clear up. The mango taste comes off as fruity and sweet but isn't very in your face mango. I think the decaf version highlights the mango flavor better, but I still very much enjoyed my cup.

I was surprised to find that I liked this tea. The mango flavor is certainly more subtle but it’s definitely there. I brewed it at a bit lower of a temperature, I’d estimate at around 200 degrees, and that seemed to stave off any bitterness. I bet this would make a great iced tea. I’d get this tea again.

Not enough Mango. I would rather drink straight black or pick a fruity tea

★★★☆☆

This one is too strong a black for me and the mango too light. Most black tea drinkers would probably like this one though. 185° for 2 minutes.

Nice black tea with an extra depth of flavor and juiciness from the mango. Just mild flavor though. A bit of honey helps bring the fruit forward a little. Did make a good iced tea. Mango came forward even more when cold. I prefer the decaf option more. Mango flavor is a bit more pronounced in that one with less bitterness. Steeped 195° for 3 mins. Enjoy!
