8/29/22:This one was kind of “meh” for me. It wasn’t bad, but it could use a lot more lemon. I think I’d prefer to just use fresh lemon in my favorite black tea instead. I think this would be useful in blends though.
Update 7/18/23: I cold brewed it this year and liked it much better, very refreshing on ice with a small wedge of lemon.

A very decent black tea with just enough lemon flavor. I was pleasantly surprised at this one. It did not have
an icky artificial taste, nor was it tart. The lemon flavor was mild but good.
Sometimes it's best to keep it simple, right Adagio? It turned out to be even better over ice.

Updated: ok, maybe the formula changed? Maybe I overbrewed it last time, who knows. Whatever, but it was pretty perfect. Had it hot but would be great cold. Might just add to my everyday
This is ok. I like Ceylon and the lemon smelled 'creamier' in the packet, but tasted a lot more astringent after brewing. It unfortunately left me with a kitchen soapy flavor. I think if I tried again, I might brew cooler or make it iced, or even mix with something that had vanilla in it.

Ok, so this is my second favorite morning tea behind Mambo, but this one can carry off afternoon as well. Lovely light and happy tea.

This is just a basic black tea with hint of lemon. I was hoping for a zestier lemon taste. Probably wouldn’t buy again

Czarna herbata pobudza organizm niemal tak dobrze jak kawa. Skutecznie przeciwdziała zmęczeniu, orzeźwia i wprowadza w dobry nastrój

This tea will make you realize why tea and lemon are such a classic combination! The lemon flavor was slightly more subtle than I expected, but I think it’s very good. “Tea with lemon,” not so much “Lemon tea.”

It's not bad!I guess it was what I expected, lemon taste with the sourness(even peppery if that makes sens) with it!Personally for my own taste,I don't think I would have liked it better if there was sweetness added to it like vanilla flavors but I wonder if it would have been better actual lemon pieces(or fresh slices) or even oranges pieces! When it comes to fruity teas,I think I would put this one in a middle tier!I liked it but not something I would pick often and in just small quantities!

This would make a delicious iced tea!! Love the light lemon flavor in this tea!! Look forward to purchasing more

I am currently enjoying a pot of this every morning. It's a black tea with a pleasant lemon taste that wakes me up with caffeine. It has astringency to it, but not overpowering or bitter.

I was really surprised at how much the lemon shined through. This really taste like lemon black tea and it's really good with honey and ice!

This was a night bright cup of tea. It was the perfect cup with breakfast, the caffeine and lemon both made me sunshiney and ready for the day!

Loved this! I found it much stronger than I thought it would be. You don't need as much as you might think. I think that it's similar to the Earl Grey Bravo --but with a little lemon twist. Make sure you don't let it steep too long, or it will get bitter on you. Otherwise, it's yummy!

This is a good black tea with just a hint of lemon. I sliced a little lemon as a garnish for my photo and thought about dropping it in, but I liked the amount of lemon flavor in the tea and left it on the rim until it got in my way! I tasted a little bitterness when the tea was hot but it dissipated as the tea cooled. I steeped at 200 degrees for 4 minutes and added just a little raw honey.

An excellent balance between black tea and lemon flavor. Makes for a solid black tea without being too bitter. Be careful not to over-steep! 3 minutes is ideal.

I do really enjoy this tea, but I find that the lemon could be stronger. I find that it gets overwhelmed by the ceylon.

This tea has a lovely smell, but I was expecting a far stronger lemon flavor. It's very light on the lemon, more like a hint of lemon. For something that had lemon in the name, I was expecting a stronger lemon flavor.
★★★★☆
Slightly less lemony than it was from the Communitea packet, so I was a little disappointed. It still has a great bright lemony flavor that is great for an early afternoon pick me up!
★★★★★
The lemon flavor comes through clearly as lemon without being smothered in spices and is not at all tart. Just lemon. Going on my reorder list.

Just what I had been looking for! lovely lemon flavor which isn't too subtle but also isn't too overpowering. Wonderful for when I'm feeling just a bit sick or horse and need something to sip on slowly.

This is right up there with an earl grey as far as utility for me. You know what to expect from it and you're not disappointed, but at the same time it's maybe not an every day drinker. I find the lemon inclusion superb, not artificial at all, and while lemon is caffeine free, I do find it adds a bit of extra energy all the same.

I love the gentle flavor of lemon to this tea. It definitely doesn’t overwhelm the teas overall taste. Great with a bit of rock sugar.

Bright and lemony-citrus. Smooths out with a splash of milk into a nice lemon candy level of creamy.

So enjoyed this gently flavored tea. The citrus flavor is complemented by Ceylon’s natural brightness. A sweetener add enhances the lemon flavor nicely that remains subtle but there. The soft lemon taste partners well with the pleasant astringency of the black tea base for a nice tang at the finish. Lemon flavoring can be tricky. Too much of it and its taste becomes overwhelmingly citrusy and sour. This tea avoids that. It’s easy to sip and even delicious chilled.
My Ct packet had 3 g/ 2 ½ tsp of lemony scented dark tea leaves with a smattering of yellow marigolds. Brewed 14 oz. at 195*F for 3 min. There was no bitterness detected in the brown liquor which had more of a classic black tea taste at first. With an add of agave to sweeten, though, a lemon flavor bloomed nicely. Added a pinch of lemon peel to the resteep to recharge the citrus flavor. It worked well. Was so surprised how quickly I went searching for a sample pouch of this in my tea stash. The slight smooth lemon taste had me hooked and wanting more.

Has a lovely lemon scent, as well as a nice citrus-y lemon flavor. Has a slight astringency at the end, but no real bitterness. A classic pairing. Good for people who like lemon with their tea, but might not want a lot of acidity or sourness.

This tea had a strong lemon scent on opening the CommuniTEA portion. It reminded me of lemon Pledge. The taste was much more mild. Even with adding monk fruit sweetener the lemon taste was mild. I do wonder if it would be stronger if cold brewed or even iced. Unfortunately I finished mine too quickly to try it that way. 195 F water x 3 min.

This tea is a sweet lemon black tea.
By brewing at a lower temp the bitterness was greatly reduced, but there was still a hint of bitterness.
I did enjoy the lemon flavor and it tasted more like a lemon desert.

This tea was a great pick me up. A nice black tea blend with the perfect mix of lemon. Enjoyed this one a lot

Fresh from the CommuniTea packet, this smells like lemon Pledge which has to be a holdover from childhood conditioning. After brewing, the scent becomes more natural and the taste is fabulous. A solid black tea with lemon. Had my first steep hot and plain and my second steep chilled with a touch of agave. Loved it both ways!

Mine came out VERY bitter. I didn't oversteep it. Not sure if its my fault or not though! I am not a fan of the bitterness. Wanted so much more from this tea.

A nice, airy lemon taste. The black tea tempers the lemon taste, so it's not as tart and zangy as one would hope. It's a good lighter blend, though, for when you want a smoother lemon taste. A little bit of honey helps to bring it out more; didn't have any lemon on hand, so I'm not sure if adding a little wedge or lemon juice could help bring out a livelier lemon taste.

I really enjoyed this tea - it had a nice lemon flavor (not too tart) and I could see using it with honey and more lemon added if I have a cold.

This is a pretty nice black tea. I steeped it at 195F and intended to only brew it for 3 minutes but I think it got more like 4 to 4.5 minutes. I think that’s why I got some bitterness from it so that was my fault. I got a nice lemon scent and taste from it so the amount of lemon peel in my packet was perfect. I wouldn’t mind having this tea again but next time, I will be more careful with the timing and pull the steep at 3 minutes.

The scent of this tea is more like a lemon drop candy, than an actual lemon. The flavor is a mild lemon flavor, you can use more tea to make it stronger. I think this is going to be a new staple in my pantry. It is great hot or iced, and would probably be delicious cold brewed.

CommuniTEA 8/29/22: This is one I've had before and I feel like there is just something missing from this tea that would transform it from good to great. It's brisk and lemon forward, but something is missing That would round out the tea. I prefer it better iced, but it is also nice hot.
