Beautiful lemon black tea only enhanced with a piece of fresh lemon
Brisk Ceylon tea with fresh lemon. Bright and sweet like Meyer lemons, with a crisp mouthfeel and refreshing finish.

Beautiful lemon black tea only enhanced with a piece of fresh lemon
Bright tea today. Love the lemon aroma and taste. Delicious with a little bit of honey. I added extra lemon. I had tea before I headed to hospital yesterday. To relax
It's a nice black tea with a touch of lemon. Honestly, it just needs more lemon.
Nice lemon aroma from the dry tea leaves. 90 sec @ 165 then poured over ice. I was hoping for more lemon flavor. Not something I would add to my cart because of the caffeine, but others may like it more.
A nice black lemon tea. The lemon is fairly sharp so you have to be in the mood for it. I’m interested in trying it cold as well!
It wasn't bad, it wasn't good either. The fragrance I quite liked but the flavor tasted somewhat like a citrus cleaner, a bit too artificial
This time I didn’t mind the flavor. The lemon wasn’t as strong as the last time I tried this. I also let it steep and extra minute. Maybe that brought out more of the black tea flavor.
5/23/24 Communitea: Another fruity black, which is not a favorite in general... But not a bad tea once I tasted it with some sugar. I like the addition of lemon to black tea more than the sweeter fruits, though I fear I must dock a point due to getting hints of that dreaded lemon dish soap taste right at the end of the sip. It was bearable though and not overpowering- if I liked lemon more I bet I'd tolerate it better.
Since I’m still trying black tea, this one isn’t too bad. The lemon taste takes off some of the bitterness of the tea
This tea is kind of like a lemon candy, and is great either hot or cold, it's something that's very simple and yet I greatly appreciate it!
The aroma is invigorating and uplifting, reminiscent of a sunny summer day. The flavor is smooth and tangy, with a hint of sweetness from the marigold petals. Whether you need a morning boost, or an afternoon pick-me-up, Lemon Soleil is a great choice.
Perfect lemon black tea. Malty base with gorgeous brightness from the lemon. Perfect with Bamboo honey!
This tea is fairly simple. It essentially tastes like black tea with a slice of lemon without the effort of cutting up and adding the lemon yourself.
Just what I was looking for. Bright and delicious.
One of my favorites I love this as an ice tea using the cold brew method
Lemon flavor is subtle, very nice tea. Good morning or after dinner selection.
Just as citrusy and sunny as promised! This tea really brings the Meyer lemon and brightens my mornings.
This has probably been one of my favorite teas I've tried! Will definitely order this one again!!!
Lemon Soleil makes a great breakfast tea. It has that nice caffeine punch that mornings can demand, yet the addition of a bit of lemon balm for a lighter touch yields a nice smooth cup as well.
BOLD. If you like lemons, this is the tea for you. This is a great way to wake up in the morning, with the strength of the tea and lemon.
The flavor of this tea was nice, but incredibly astringent. I'm still playing around with temp and brew time, so I might try this again down the road.
Taste like a black tea with some lemon flavor. Lemon taste real, not artificial. I like it for a change of pace from some other tea flavors I usually get.
So versatile it’s a lovely tea for drinking but if you brew it double strength it is a fantastic merinade for salmon
Just enough Lemony flavor and all the caffeine and good Tea taste.
What could be better than black tea and a squeeze of lemon? It's a classic!
Good strong lemon flavor that's only slightly artificial tasting. I prefer fresh lemon juice in tea but this is a convenient alternative. I prefer this in blends.
Nice lemon aroma. Nice combination of black and lemon Tea. It was nice but not a go to tea for me.
I enjoyed the tea today. It had a nice lemon flavor. Very refreshing
I quite enjoyed this blend especially when accompanied with lemon snap cookies. Hmmm hmmmm! 😋 No need for sweetener when I can just let a cookie sink to the bottom and dissolve all of its sweet goodness into the bottom of the cup. Go ahead and give it a try next time.
A nice lemon flavor when hot, but seemed to disappear when iced. Overall, I enjoyed it. :)
This is a high octane cup of tea! Just a touch of sweetener really brings out the lemon flavor..not overpowering. This would also be a great ice tea.. wouldn't lose flavor with ice.
In the bag: Just like the Adagio photo, but with fewer marigold flowers.
On the nose (pre-steep): Bright, clear lemon flavor. Hints of pith and sugar.
On the nose (post-steep): Mild scent of semi-tart lemon. Hint of unsweetened cocoa.
On the tongue (pre-sweetener): Same flavors as the post-steep scent. A touch of astringency.
On the tongue (post-sweetener): No change.
Opinion: A pleasant blend, though not an amazing one. I like lemon and flavored blacks, so the concept is solid. The lemon was a tad tart for my liking, so including another additive like cream to soften the mix would have helped.
Preparation: First steep 3 min, second steep 6 min. Both @ 195 ℉. ½ teaspoon monk fruit sweetener.
This was a nice black tea but I wish the lemon flavor had been stronger.
Lovely blend. It lended itself to a healthy, sweet tea rather than tart and sour. Definitely a thumbs up.
Communitea Review: Not my favorite tea this month. It smelled like Lemonheads candy but tasted kind of bitter. Thinking I probably won’t finish my cup.
10 oz, 3 mins @ 195* F, divided. Sweetener in both portions. No cream in either.
Hot
This was not as bad as I was expecting after my aversion to the citrus mate. The lemon in that blend really was not good to my tastebuds. I was expecting the same in this. Thankfully that wasn't the case. It's still not my cup of tea while hot. I didn't bother with the cream. I'm hoping that cold it's at least more drinkable. Will see. As it was, I took a couple sips while hot and one while room temp, the remainder of that portion went down the drain. If for some reason I really enjoy this cold, I can always pick up more.
Cold
This reminded me of lemon scented pinesol. I couldn't drink it.
It wasn’t my favorite tea so I definitely won’t be adding it to my favorites list I don’t know I don’t like the lemon taste of it
This tea has a lovely light and fresh lemon flavor and aroma. I enjoy it iced or hot!
The dry tea smells a bit like lemon tarts or light lemon pledge. Once brewed, it takes on a 'specific herbal scent' that was bit startling at first. It was at this time that I actually looked at the ingredients and noted the 'marigold flowers'. I know from experience growing them that wet marigolds can emit that aforementioned scent.
The flavor is rather lovely. The lemon flavor is there and not too tart. I personally got 'Froot Loops' from it which made me want to taste it with milk. Adding the milk makes that fruity cereal flavor stand out even more.
Upon opening the packet, the lemon aroma was fresh and citrusy.
Once steeped, the lemon nose disappeared and on the tongue, there was no hint of lemon.
With a little bit of help from my friend, clover honey, the lemon flavour burst forth and created a delightful blend of black tea and lemon - bringing me back to my summer visits at my grandmother's home. I have a sore throat today, so it is the perfect hot tea. ENJOY!
This is one of those flavored blacks I enjoy seeing pop up in a blend, but not as much on its own. Like many of the other citrusy blacks (orange specifically comes to mind), I feel like this can get bitter very quickly without a supporting character. Blended with other flavors though, this can give just the lemony boost some teas need!
Sampled this tea in the CommuniTEA. I steeped at 195 x 2 minutes, and linger on the second steep. Enjoyable both hot and cold. The hint of lemon gives a sunny pop to the flavor. Great summer tea.
Update 7/18/23 - I’m glad I gave this tea another chance but I’m still not thoroughly impressed. I definitely oversteeped the tea the first time, but there is still a note of bitterness present. The lemon flavor is that sort of old fashioned lemon drop flavor rather than anything uplifting. I could see it pairing well with tomato or cucumber sandwiches or some other light and summery fare. I’d like to try this tea iced at some point.
Original: I don’t know what happened here…I tried this tea and could not taste ANY lemon. It just tasted like a low quality black tea :(
There is SO MUCH LEMON in this cup. Not sure if a shorter steep time would have helped but it's overpowering.
I was very pleasantly surprised by the nicely balance blend of slightly astringent black Ceylon and a fresh, springy lemon. I read another review that compared the packet smell to lemon pledge (I didn't notice until I gave it a second sniff), and she was right but in such a good way. The lemon is wonderful once steeped, but at 175 for 2 minutes, gongfu style - more leaf, less water. It really combines the two flavors beautifully. This one is going in the cart.
Too bitter for me!
I cold brewed this tea and it was wonderful. So fresh and light.
Update: I forgot to cold brew this this time. It wasn't nearly as good hot/warm.
This was a delicious lemony tea that wasnt too tart or sour in my opinion. A good base black tea to complement it.
I like lemon in my tea, particularly when it's the zesty or curdy variety. This was a nice lemon zest flavour, and is enjoyable plain or with cream added. It smells like a little creamy and does indeed have a Meyer lemon slant, which I just love. This has also become one of my favourite blending teas. Steeped 3 min @ 195º.
This tea is hard to review because it only seems to contain bright, crisp lemon and sharp, astringent tea. The lemon is a bit more sweet when the tea is hot, a little more muted when it cools, and mild yet deliciously refreshing iced. Sometimes I think I taste a bit of raspberry in the finish, but mostly it is, as promised, lemon flavored tea. It tastes pretty exactly like tea with lemon, perhaps not fresh-squeezed lemon, but as good as any store-bought lemon juice. It is a nice morning eye-opener and I'd guess you'd have to brew it light and low if you didn't want it to feel a shocking zing when you drink it. I'm not the biggest fan of Ceylon tea, and I don't usually love lemon, so the fact that I find this tea tasty is a testament to a blend well made. Great for a kick to get you going in the morning, or an after-workout refresher, but for a daily tea which is enjoyable and not overwhelming, I'd definitely prefer rooibos lemon cloud.
