its okay not really what I though it would be but its still good tea
Brisk Ceylon tea with fresh lemon. Bright and sweet like Meyer lemons, with a crisp mouthfeel and refreshing finish.

its okay not really what I though it would be but its still good tea
This is an extremely cute flavoured tea. It smells much nicer than the rooibos lemon cloud, which smells like harsh cough drops, and tastes lovely. Directly, there is nothing too lemony about it except for what lingers after, and it is very mild and pleasant and I smiled the whole time I drank my cup.
Used my sample to make a big pitcher of iced tea. As a South Carolina girl, I know my iced tea...and this makes great iced tea!
This one just tasted bland to me. I couldn't taste the lemon at all. I tried steeping it three minutes at first and then five and the second time around there really wasn't much difference beyond being a little more bitter.
Has an almost herbal flavor and a moderate lemon overtone. The scent out of the bag was a bit too 'artificial' to me, but the flavor redeemed it a bit. A touch of sweetener makes it into a decent and refreshing drink. Probably wouldn't get this again on its own, but I think it would make for a nice blending ingredient.
Oh man, this is SO GOOD. It's got the soothing citrusy smooth of lemon but it still has that kick of black tea. Really good hot...I've yet to try it iced.
This has no lemon taste at all, and the black base tea is only decent. I tried steeping it lightly, I tried steeping it long, nothing brought out any lemon flavor at all. I could taste the marigold more than I could the lemon. The best I can say about this is that it's false advertising, which disappoints me greatly because the white and oolong blends are uniformly good.
This tea was just... meh. Something about the flavor just seemed artificial (even though it says it's not) and not nearly lemony enough. If I want a lemony tea I guess I'll just have to add some lemon in to my tea for now.
Not as lightly lemon-y as I had hoped for, but a nice tea. There was a lemon aftertaste, but that wasn't enough. You must be careful not to over-brew, as the taste is much too strong, at least for me.
Bright and citrusy but not too tart, this is exactly what I was expecting from a lemon black tea. There was no lingering aftertaste like with some of the stronger black tea blends, just smooth lemon deliciousness. It's especially good iced.
I had been searching for a good lemon tea for awhile now, and this one was PERFECT.
Maybe this one just wasn't for me, but this tea smelled a bit like lemon kitchen cleaner so I went into it a bit unsure to begin with. The flavor was not nearly as artificial but was still much too lemony for me, and there was an odd aftertaste. I gave away the rest of my sample.
This tea has a bright and zesty lemon flavor, quite nice as a morning cup!
my grandmother used to love tea, the most common one i would see her with was bigelow's lemon tea. it was a shite black tea with an apathetic attempt of lemon flavour. she would have that with a sweet and low and a bit of lemon juice. that was the first tea i ever had, i didn't like it much, and whenever i would try it it would end up with basically hot lemonade since i couldn't handle the bitterness.
i really wish i could have shared a cup of this with her before she passed away, i could see her having this in one of the nice glass jars she had, and i could see her savouring each and every cup.
ok sorry to get all emotional on ya there, that little story really doesn't fit this tea, this tea tastes, happy. it's very dare i say, juicy fruit-ish it isn't a real solid lemon juice flavor it's a candy like lemon, very fragrant, very summery, i can totally see my next order including a pound of this
It's a good tea, but the lemon flavor isn't very pronounced. It could be stronger.
Pretty good, kinda like tea you get at a restaurant. Tastes like it has a slice of lemon in it
To me the lemon flavor seems a bit muffled in the mix. It's obviously there, and it's enjoyable, but it's not distinct. Though it didn't require any sugar, I added a bit halfway through and I felt that it changed the character. Good with or without, though I preferred it unsweetened.
I steeped this longer than suggested directed and really enjoyed the lemony flavor. My first go with a tea containing marigold. Could easily become my breakfast tea!
A just ok lemon flavoured black tea.sort of bland.
Bright and refreshing, it's a great summer time tea.
Really liked the brightness, and a little sugar made it perfect.
This has a very nice, subtle lemon flavor. I want to try it iced next.
It has a very brisk lemon taste/smell, and makes for a quite good ice tea. Think I might try adding fresh fruit to my next batch of ice tea - this is definitely a staple worth having.
The lemon is very light and goes perfectly with the black tea. Once the tea has cooled a bit, the lemon really stands out! It would be phenomenal iced.
Just had my first cup of this... and it was lovely! I was a bit iffy after my last order of teas, but this was a great choice. When you first open the bag the lemon scent is very strong and sweet, but it's not overpowering once brewed.
This is a very lemony tea. If you really enjoy putting a splash of lemon in your teas, then you'll really like this one. It is great mixed in with other flavors. It really brightens up the other flavors. It is great with the raspberry tea!
I was intrigued by the idea of a black tea with lemon since I'm such a huge fan of Earl Grey. Since this one had a number of very positive reviews I skipped right over the sample bag and went straight for 3 oz, and I couldn't be happier with that choice. The scent is straight-up lemon. the aroma is much the same. Taste-wise, I don't get the puckery tartness associated with a squeeze of fresh lemon in tea... rather, there's a brightness and a very subtle sweetness, almost like lemon curd. This is amazing with a bit of sugar and some milk. equally so with honey. I have grand plans to try it iced, and even blended with other teas in my cabinet (cream and strawberry, I'm looking at you).
This is more of a candy-lemon taste than fresh lemon. I like it as a dessert tea with milk and sugar, but if you're looking for a tangy, tart lemon flavor, you should probably stick with the real thing.
The smell is very strange, almost like mold, when you open the bag. Brewed, it smells and tastes like plain ceylon. A little sugar brings out a fruity-ness, but it doesn't even hint at lemon. A little cream brings out a very slight lemon flavour. It's drinkable, but boring. I wish it was more lemony like the Rooibos Lemon Cloud.
For the most part, this tastes like plain black tea to me. There's another subtle flavor, but I'd never guess lemon if I didn't already know that's what it was supposed to be. A smooth tea, but not something I'd buy again. If I want lemon flavored tea, I'll just add a slice of lemon to a black tea.
This is just okay, not sour lemon-y enough. I don't think I will order more.
I got this tea as a free sample with my order. Definitely didn't have the full lemon flavor I was expecting, but still pleasant nonetheless.
I love lemon and I love black tea. So I was hoping for a black tea with a strong lemon flavor and aroma. Sadly, this is not the case with Lemon Soleil. The aroma when opening the package is faintly lemony and so is the taste once brewed. I found this tea had more of a floral taste than lemon or citrus. So it was OK, but I won't be getting any more of it.
This tea is moderately sweet and very green, almost grassy, which was surprising for its color in the bag. Much more citrus than black tea flavors, a lighter tea both in color and in the feel in your mouth. The smell and the aftertaste are the most lemony, and sometimes seem to fringe on almost the lemon flavor of cleaning supplies. not that it tastes like soap, just that the fragrances remind me of each other. This tea is not something I personally am very excited about, but if you want something light and lemony but not too sweet this is for you.
The three stars isn't because it is a bad tea -it's actually a pretty good-tasting cup. Rather, I was just expecting a lot more lemon flavor. As it stands, lemon soleil is a good black tea that tastes as though there is a twist of lemon in it.
I think this would be great iced in summer. It already has that 'iced tea' flavor going for it. I'm still looking for a really lemony tea.
This tea smells delicious, but I find it a bit bitter. I think that says more about me than the tea though, it's lovely and if you are a fan of fruit and citrus teas, then you'll enjoy this one! It would be particularily good blended with a tea that you think needs a lemon boost!
A nice refreshing flavor. I cannot give it great, because it did not give me the 'Wow' effect, though...but close enough.
Lemony and fresh, it's a perfect tea for waking up!
This tea has a lot of potential, but it's not as strong as I'd like it to be. It seems like a perfect addition for blends, but use way more than you think. Still- with more experimentation, it might be worthwhile.
I'm not a lemon-in-tea person, but I kept seeing this tea and it looked so appealing I broke down and tried it. I sniffed the bag several times trying to place the scent. I think the closest I got was maybe Froot Loops or Lemonheads. When brewed it's a bit like black tea with Meyer lemon as opposed to regular lemon. It's still not my thing but interesting.
Mainly tried this because I like lemon in my teas. It's ok, just not my favorite.
It tasted more like lemon frosting from sandwich cookies than lemon to me. Not entirely unpleasant, but not the refreshing fresh lemon I was expecting.
Nice subtle lemon flavor. Bright and refreshing - a nice twist.
This tea wasn't lemon enough for me. It tasted more like straight black tea than anything else. But maybe I'll play with it. If not, it will be re-gifted to my best friend who loves it. The quest is on for a good lemon/black tea combination.
Really nothing special, I can't even taste the lemon. I tried brewing more and at a longer time and still couldn't taste the lemon. Will not be buying this again.
I like this one. It's got a nice, sturdy black tea base, with the lemon quite noticeable on top. I feel like it's a bit of a shallow flavor, though. But it's quite nice.
This tea is not quite what I had expected, but I definetly still like it! The lemon flavor is very mild. I added some splenda and a little milk, and it was very good.
A perfect blend of black tea and lemons. The lemon flavour doesn't overpower the bold flavour of the Ceylon tea. rather it complements it quite nicely. The flower petals give it a floral taste which smooths the tea itself.
when you first open the bag the lemon smells like crushed up lemonheads candy. brewed up nice.. better then i expected!
This is a nice black tea with quite strong lemon flavor that just skirts the edge of the lemon-scented-household-cleaner profile. Adding a bit of extra sweetener (in my case, white sugar) brightened up the lemon notes and took the cleaner-like edge off. Not something I'd drink all the time, but pleasant enough for an occasional cup.
