I got this as a gift for my daughter, who likes Bourbon and she definitely gets the Bourbon taste out of it! She s asked for more, so that says something~! A smoky and pronounced flavor that may be too strong for some.

I didn't get much bourbon flavor at hot temperatures, but room-temp or iced, this does taste like whiskey, while also tasting like black tea. Really cool! I would recommend trying a sample of this :)

★★★★★

Absolutely delicious smoky flavors! Love the bourbon aroma then the smoky surprise

Masculine yes, but I like it too! This tea is dark and smoky, yet slightly sweet. Not an every day tea, but great for a treat on a snowy night...or a sunny day for that matter.

pretty smooth, but not my favorite, was better with some milk

I guess I just don't have the taste bud others do, I do not taste any smoky flavor. I love the smell and the taste is good with a hint of floral to me. I had the sample and liked it enough to buy the full bag. I think the best flavors come out when the temp is 135 to 150

Excellent flavor. One of my new favorites. Love it!

★★★★★

This makes a great cup of tea. I drink it hot by the cup.

★★★★☆

This really does taste like whiskey. One of the most unique flavored teas I have tried.

A nice novelty tea-- sweet and fairly complex. I liked it as a sample, but probably won't buy again.

★★★★★

Very rich and flavorful; this tea reminded my husband of Frisian Sunday Tea.

★★★★☆

I didn't expect to like this as much as i did! The vanilla and bourbon flavors are most pronounced. Very good with milk or cream.

I really liked the earthyness of this tea. Its a new flavor. It has the aged flavor that a whiskey or bourbon has. I tend to brew my teas strong so it also had that throat feel to it as well.

★★★☆☆

I love Kentucky Bourbon beer and was very excited to try this tea. I was disappointed the first time I tried it. It is not very forgiving if it is even slightly over steeped. It is better with a little almond milk and rock sugar. I prefer my tea black and straight so additions of milk and sugar are not really my cup of tea.

This tea can make a great alternative to a cocktail (if, like me, you're looking to cut back on alcohol). It does have a strong smokey flavor, but with a little sweetener - I use a bit of maple syrup - and a splash of cream, it's perfect.

This black tea is good but not my favorite. I think I may need to make a few more cups to fully decide if I want to continue purchasing this one. It s also included in the autumn teas sampler.

I was both skeptical and excited to try a tea with 'bourbon' in the name, and this did not disappoint. It's an intense tea, not an everyday one for me, but a wonderful pick me up when I need both caffeine and a kick in the taste buds.

★★☆☆☆

Did not enjoy this blend at all. It was very bitter and the flavors just did not work well together (but I am also not a bourbon drinker, so that probably contributed).

★★★☆☆

I had high expectations for this tea. It was ok. It mostly comes down to personal taste. It was just too artificially sweet for me. I really wished I liked it more.

Reminiscent of my days in Kentucky. Will buy again.

Recently had this from a friend. Had to order some myself. Would make a great tea to make hot toddies with this winter.

★★★☆☆

Didn’t really like that bitter taste. However representation is very creative

★★★★★

Oh I fell in love as soon as I opened the bag and smelled the gorgeous aroma...and tastes delicious. Kind of caramel, hint of whiskey...yum.

Super sweet. Only get vanilla and caramel. Was hoping for a more depth of flavor. If you like a naturally sweeter tea, it's perfect for you

I get the hints of bourbon, but I just wouldn't choose drinking it over any of my other lovely teas.

I took a gamble on this one and boy was it a pleasant surprise. As soon as I opened the bag my room filled with the smell of bourbon. I steeped it and sure enough, very nice flavor. So many hidden notes. I highly recommend giving it a try. This tea is becoming a crowd pleaser and great for those autumn and winter nights.

I honestly didn't expect to like this tea. I tried it on a whim. But, it was love at first sip! This tea is AMAZING! It's my new favorite thing!

If you are looking for something that tastes like bourbon, this is it! I used it in a mock hot toddy and it's works great. If you're not a fan of bourbon's flavor, you won't like this.

Too strong for my taste. Did not care for malt and smoke flavorings.

This was unexpectedly good! Well balanced in the flavor blend. Highly recommend!!

It has an artificial taste and smell to it. I blended this with Chestnut and was able with to enjoy that, but don’t really care for it by itself.

The fragrance is unbelievable! Wonderful flavor and strong hints of pure vanilla. Highly recommend

★★☆☆☆

Not a fan of this tea, too harsh a taste. I guess black teas are not for me.

★★★★☆

It really does taste like bourbon. Not 100% of course, but it's unmistakably bourbon.

If you cold brew it overnight in the fridge, it tastes even MORE like bourbon.

This tea! I can't say enough good things about this tea. It surpassed all of my expectations. The smooth, rich taste with a lingering almost smokey taste. It is perfect hot or cold. When I brewed it as iced tea I added sprigs of spearmint and it was a fantastic addition.
After brewing multiple cups of this tea, it is still one of my favorites. This tea never disappoints.

★★☆☆☆

I love bourbon even though I rarely drink alcohol, so I was excited to try this blend. It misses the mark by a lot. The smell in the bag is harsh, and the brewed tea is difficult to drink. I had considered keeping it to add to blends, but the more I sip this tea, the more I dislike it.

★★★★★

I wasn't sure about this one after I opened the bag and it smelled like straight up bourbon, but it's actually wonderful. Just a flavor of bourbon not too strong at all. I really liked it with a touch of honey.

★★★☆☆

The flavor was a little strange for me, but I probably should have expected that as I am not a bourbon drinker. Three stars because my brother likes it!

★★★★★

It's wild to think I can actually taste the smokey, bourbon undertone in my daily tea.

★★★★★

I got this one on my last order and I really did enjoy it. I will be having one tomorrow night after work to help me unwind. this is also a nice tea to have even on a chilly day

★★★★★

When I first smelled this tea I was a little surprised at how strong a scent it had. I was excited to try it. The tea itself is a bit more mellow than that. I was pleased with the smokey flavor and the candy apple flavor gave a nice sweetness that complimented smokey flavors great! I will be ordering more of this tea in my next order.

The scent and flavors were cloyingly strong - too much so for me to enjoy.

★★★★☆

Does taste like whiskey. It's a great strong and sweet morning tea as well

★★★★★

I didn't expect to like this tea but I really did! Slightly smokey and super tasty. Awesome with milk.

★★★★★

Whoa! This tea is something else! I read about it, and yet was still shocked by how much it was like whiskey. Mine was super strong (not sure if I oversteeped it) but that was kind of the fun of it.

★★★★☆

OK, part of the issue is that I m not really a fan of whiskey, just got this out of curiosity (which is why I m giving 4 stars instead of 2-3). It definitely smells like a peaty whiskey with a hint of candy apple. I didn t really catch any other flavors in aroma or taste. Maybe it s just not my thing.

Really interesting flavor. Lovely to sip on a chilly afternoon.
