I tend to mix my own blends for iced tea, changing it up with each pot, but hibiscus is my most commonly used 'base' for my mixes... love it so much and it adds a lovely color to the tea, especially when mixed with berry blast (another favorite)

I didn't enjoy this tea. It's not that it tasted badly, but I just couldn't get into the almost overbearing perfume aroma. I haven't enjoyed much hibiscus, so that could be what put me off; I may just not like hibiscus.

Not really my cup of tea. My mother loves it so I gave it to her. She really enjoys this one a lot

Definitely my favorite tea I’ve had from Adagio - I usually drink this in the afternoon!

Not big on the hibiscus. Not my favorite. It’s very mild.

I'm a fan of hibiscus and was initially put off by this based on smell. Opening the package it's almost a mocha smell and steeped it does have a mocha hint to it. What it reminds me of is chocolate covered craisins.

I was nervous about how hibiscus would shine through with a black tea base, but I am so thankful that I tried it. It totally shines through the earthy back notes. I love hibiscus in herbals, but herbals are complex and sometimes my tongue wants to be lazy. This tea allows both sides to be happy.

I’ve only tried it one time and it was super bitter. I don’t know how long I steeped it because I forgot about it. I’m definitely going to have to give it another try lol

This tea was okay it kind of reminded me of coffee. It did not taste like coffee, but it had a strong aroma. I would like more of the Hibiscus flower in the tea.

boring just by itself, but just add half and half with Ceylon and it's delicious.

A very interesting and enjoyable cup of tea. Totally not what I was expecting as far as flavor goes. Lovely aroma and I added a little honey. Personally, I thought the added honey cut back on the tartness enough to enjoy it more.

I didn't know that I loved Hibiscus but there was a lot of blends that I had tried that included Hibiscus in it so I decided to try it alone - wow. I love the fruity, tartness of it. Good both hot and iced.

Solid hibiscus flavor, but I think I've decided that I prefer that in a fruit blend.

I don’t usually like hibiscus tea due to bitterness. But this blend tastes spectacular both hot and iced!

Great flavor, smooth finish. You can mix this with Yunnan Noir for a great flavor.

This tastes great iced. I do not like it hot. Very crisp, delicious flavor.

A good, fruity tea, though it might be better as a cold ice tea than a hot tea. I'll have to try it again in the summer.

The black tea made this blend taste awful. Took 2 sips and had to pour the drink out. Unfortunately I purchased a 3oz bag. Really had high hopes for this one since I love hibiscus tea :(

A good tea but the hibiscus doesn't come out very strong. The other flavors drown out the hibiscus. It is better with a little extra hibiscus added to it.

I'm not generally a fan of floral teas, but hibiscus is on another level of enjoyment! It's not overtly floral tasting, but sweet and smooth. Would highly recommend!!

I just assumed that this was going to be a lighter tea because hibiscus always makes me think of herbal teas, but I was wrong. This is a titan tea, ready to zap you awake in the morning. It's also probably the blackest black tea I've ever seen, almost coffee levels of black blackness.

Just WOW! With just one sip this became one of my all-time Adagio Top 10 Teas. The black tea base takes the extreme tangy-tart flavor out of the hibiscus flowers, leaving your taste buds with something full and fruity. Best of all, it's never bitter or dry. It's a black tea that almost tastes like a floral one. I will definitely be getting a bigger bag next time I buy.

I was expecting a much tarter tea. That said I really enjoyed this as a black tea with a flavor.

I don’t care for hibiscus-heavy herbal blends, but the dominant black tea base on this one helped make it palatable. As a black tea with fruity elements, I actually enjoyed it.

Of all the tea I have drank, I don’t think I have ever had black tea with just hibiscus from any company. Very nice! I will probably order more so I can try it cold brewed.

I love black tea and I love hibiscus tea but this tea makes it clear that I don't find the combination particularly enjoyable. I didn't hate it, but the mixture left me wanting a cup of pure black or pure hibiscus, just not the two together.

I always taste plain tea before adding my preferred sweetener. Super bitter black tea, but even after adding more than my usual amount of sweetener, it was still very bitter. The floral hibiscus notes were fine, what I expected. Usually I can
Deal with hibiscus if it is mixed with other things, but this confirmed as a stand-alone it's not for me. If you really like hibiscus, this could be a choice for you. Prepared 3 mins at 212 degrees. Sampled as part of the CommuniTEA August box.

Didn't get overwhelming hibiscus, but not much taste of anything. Yes, non-descript black tea. There is better out there.

Normally, I am not a fan of black tea because it can be bitter. The hibiscus balanced it well. I added no sweetener to this tea- very unusual for me when I drink a black tea.
