The bitter black tea overpowers any tart hibiscus flavor, and has a dry finish.
Tangy, sour-sweet Hibiscus flower with brisk Ceylon tea. The fruity-spicy aroma and rich flavor are refreshing hot or iced!

The bitter black tea overpowers any tart hibiscus flavor, and has a dry finish.
What a delightful, light, floral flavor! I truly did enjoy a cup of this hibiscus black tea; I’ve always been partial to floral teas, and this one did not disappoint!
Dry scent reminds me of fruity marshmallows. Not a big fan of the initial bitter taste, but loving the floral aftertaste!
Hibiscus usually gets a bad rap when mixed in with other tea blends but I am finding this black tea blend very good. I added a half teaspoon of Adagio raw honey for black tea to bring out the flavor.
Both scent and taste of hibiscus are perfect in levels of intensity and balance. The Ceylon is indeed 'brisk and bright.' This will be another one added to my rotation.

Sweet hibiscus with first sip, familiar bitter aftertaste. Ceylon is a good tea to blend with. If you like hibiscus, you will like this.
It was okay, I didn't like the flavor alone that much but it was a decent semi tart cup of black tea.
Sometimes the use of hibiscus in tea can overwhelm the other flavors. While this tea is very fragrant, the hibiscus blends with the tea instead of overpowering it. I drank mine iced with a little sugar.
This one was really nice! It's surprisingly sweet!
Great tea. Adding to my wish list. My Communitea pouch didn’t have much of the hibiscus so I could have used some more punch from that but it was still very enjoyable. Highly recommended if you are a hibiscus lover.
This is decent, a nice sweet & tart flavor to balance out the black tea. Definitely needs sweetener, but was equally good hot and iced. I prefer hibiscus on its own without the added black tea.
The hibiscus flavor was subtle, but definitely present. The hint of fruity/floral complimented the black tea better than I thought it would
Good tea though I had to add a tad of stevia to smooth out the bitterness of the black tea. But I’m a fan of hibiscus regardless. With this one has to play around a bit to find the right add to make the brewcsing. 💗💗💗
Very much a black tea. Would have liked to taste a bit more hibiscus as the black tea seems to over power it. Not as balances as Id like, still its rather enjoyable.
this was a fun flavor when i made an iced tea with some sugar
Love hibiscus, but I wish there was a little bit more of the hibiscus taste. With a bit of honey, this is fantastic
I love hibiscus teas and this is no exception. I love the silky mouthfeel floral teas always seem to have and the aroma is really pleasant.
Wow! I did not think I would like this to you, but it is delicious. Maybe slightly on the fruity side but also had a chocolate aftertaste. Delicious
Smelled like chocolate to me when I opened the packet. I think I may have accidentally steeped it too long, I'm deaf until I put some things in, plus i was outside watering so didn't realize how much time had passed. I don't taste anything fruity or sweet, it's pretty bitter for me, again likely my fault for going to long (timer was set for 3 min)
I expected a totally different taste. The smell is not pleasant and the tea taste bitter. It's drinkable, but I would not recommend it. I steeped it for the suggested 3 min.
Great tea for floral tea lovers. Beautiful color and fragrance, I prefer a bit more subtlety with florals but a very decent tea overall
I had a feeling this wasn’t going to be for me and I was correct. This was too floral/perfume for my taste, but I was glad for the chance to try it.
Big time floral aromas were noted in the bag. When hot, mild flowery and dark chocolate aromas and tastes were noted. I added a little sugar at this point to tone down a bit of black tea astringency. When warm, the Ceylon black provided a really impressive dark chocolate flavor, while the hibiscus added just the proper amount of slightly tart dark cherry tastes. Both players had an equal chance to shine and worked to provide a very pleasant sip from start to finish. I actually liked this one! (4 mins @ 200F, 1/4 tsp sugar)
The hibiscus is so good! It’s great both hot and cold, one of my new favorites.
I am always looking for black teas with naural flavors to brew to make an iced tea. This is just ok. It has a nice black tea flavor with a floral undertone.
I LOVE hibiscus and this tea is exactly what I need to get me through the day with great flavor!
This is my go to tea. I always love the nice hibiscus flavor and the deep black tea after a hard day at work
Wow! What a kick! It gives me energy in the mornings...just don't drink at night...u will be up! Taste wise, it's has a floral undertone. Its good!
This is a blend of black and Hibiscus tea. It has more of black tea taste.
I'm sad to say this is the first tea from Adagio that I just plain didn't like. Opening the sample and giving it a smell gave a strange aroma of TUMS, and brewing yielded the same chalky, vaguely-fruit antacid tablet taste. Unpleasant, to say the least. Adding a bit of lemon helped but I just couldn't finish the cup :(
Didn't love this as much as I thought I would--but that might say more about my relationship with hibiscus than with the tea.
Not a fan of this hibiscus tea. It had an artificial bubble gum taste to me (think old school Hubba Bubba gum). It wasn't too bad when I blended it with the English Breakfast tea, but on it's own it was horrible. I'm glad I only got the sample size.
I don’t like it by itself but it’s good in blends and sun tea
I usually love floral teas but this one is pretty tart and just ok.
This tea is perfect for a summer morning, or iced. I've tried both and do love it, however I've got a terrible habit of oversteeping my tea- if you struggle with that (like me) than keep an eye on this flavor when you make it.
Delicious! The flavor is light and delicate, but isn't overpowered by the milk I add.
Love the aroma of this one! Nice and smooth, enjoyable and relaxing.
This makes a lovely glass of refreshing iced tea. For those of you familiar with sorral, or agua de Jamaica, this has none of that flavor. It's smooth and a little floral with low astringentcy.
The hibiscus tastes really good! I reccomend pairing it with another fruit tea.
This has a strong hibiscus flavor! Which I really like
Even under steeping this one I can’t seem to get the hibiscus flavor to pop up as much as I would like. It’s still a lovely black tea, that is accented well with a bit of sweetener, but I was hoping for more of the the traditional hibiscus tangy sweetness that just wasn’t there.
This tea boends well with the hibiscus flower love it
Perfect balance of fresh and flavor. I prefer this iced and also infused with the pomegranate tea.
Light and fruity. A great afternoon tea! I have even tried it over ice and now have two wonder ways to enjoy it!
I mixed this with the Hibiscus Flower tea and it made a pretty good mix. I still had to add honey to smooth out the flavor but overall it was good.
mix hibiscus and chamomile -- learn that mixture from my acupuncturist. It is a wonderful tea.
This is one of the best teas I’ve had in a while! I wasn’t a fan of hibiscus until I had this flavor.
I would recommend this tea to anyone who likes floral teas.
A really solid, sweet hibiscus taste. If hibiscus is your flavor of choice, definitely give this one a go.
This is my favorite summer tea! The floral hibiscus and the crisp ceylon work in lovely harmony without ever becoming too sharp. It also makes a GREAT iced tea.
