Hibiscus is very sweet and floral, which I like a lot. The smell in the bag is super flowery and reminded me of being at a tropical beach. It's very dark in color but the taste is so light and refreshing. If you like the sweet taste I would recommend adding a teaspoon of sugar into your cup to really bring out the sweetness. It is like paradise in a cup.

When I opened the bag the aroma that greeted me was overwhelmingly medicinal. I wish I could say that that quality was not carried over into the flavor of the tea once steeped but alas I cannot. It was a sharp bitter medicinal flavor that I could not get past. There was an underlying floral note to it, but it was almost hidden by the unpleasant medicinal flavor. I think that perhaps this flavor of tea might pair well when blended with other teas, letting the floral notes shine through by tempering it with other flavors. Otherwise I would have given it an even lower rating.

This is my new favorite iced tea. It's very fruity and reminds me a bit of fruit punch.

★★★★★

I loved this! It's very flowery and flavorful. I am wanting to try it iced as well but as a hot brew it is just perfect.

I like this tea iced with a bit of sugar. Its refreshing and floral ...very nice on a hot summer day.

I brewed this as a sun tea. I found that there is a slight bitterness that I associate with the hibiscus flavor (as opposed to the bitterness of black tea) that is very mild. It has a clean taste and would do well it just a drop of agave nectar for sweetener.

I like this tea, but I do not think that I could drink it every day.

★★★★☆

Nothing really compares to actual hibiscus tea, but this one comes pretty close.

Fresh flavor, very floral and very sweet. I had to experiment with honey/sugar combinations to find the right sweetness to complement this tea, but I found that white sugar is the best. Very fresh and crisp taste!

I enjoyed it, it has a definite murky floral taste that pairs well with honey, and is good iced.

I didn't really get a hibiscus smell or flavor from this at all. It tasted fine. Maybe my sampler bag was off -- I've loved almost ever other tea Adagio offers.

Very distinct floral aroma, but much lighter in the taste department. I was hoping for a more obvious flavor but the delicate overtones are not to be discounted.

One of my favorite teas. The flavor reminds me of rose petals, or lychee, and tastes similar as well. A delightful, light floral tea. Don't steep it too long, though, or it's very unpleasant. 3-5 minutes, and you have an amazing, and very unique cup of tea.

This is a candy-like sweet tea - perfect as a mouth-freshener after a heavy afternoon meal. Some might find it too cloyingly sweet-scented. My only issue is that the black-tea base is very mild (almost as bland as Fuijan baroque) and hence it tastes more like herbal tea or hot juice - for remedying that I blend it with my Assam tea to get a strong black tea that is mildly floral.

Surprising sweet and pretty floral! This a great afternoon or late morning tea. I enjoy this with a bit of stevia and cream. be careful to not add too much sugar as this is already naturally sweet!

This tea reminded me of bad perfume! Did not like at all.

★★☆☆☆

I like floral but this is just way too much, and that overwhelming flavor along with the spicy is not something I enjoy at all.

★★★★☆

while the tea smells a little like unpleasant perfume, brewed and with a touch of sugar, it's surprisingly good. I got it because I wanted a tea with a strong rose flavor and, while the rose flavor is incredibly subtle, the tea is delicate and fruity.

I liked this as an iced tea, but didn't love it hot.

★★★★☆

Lovely tea and after having some hot, I cooled it down and added ice. Much preferred it that way.

Much too dry for my taste, thought it'd be a bit more sweet than it was too. Bitter to me at least.

★★★★★

Such a lovely tea. My mother loves it and I myself quite enjoy the floral taste of it. Will buy more when we run out.

Very nice and calming. Wonderful for a chilly day or when I am not feeling well. Love it in the afternoon or evening.

★★★☆☆

This was too floral tasting for me... and that surprised me. I didn't expect this to be overpowering. It was though. Just too much of a good thing. I felt like I was drinking a flower. This would be best with cream or something else to tone it down. I won't drink this alone again. I'll use it as a mix-in for other tea types.

This is an interesting tea, and not in a bad way. I like floral teas, including some rose ones that I have had in the past and I absolutely love the lavendar Earl Grey. This one I didn't like quite as much as some of Adagio's other teas, but it was still pretty good.

Wonderful smell, very fruity and different from any tea I've ever had. Definitely a distinguishing flavor. It was fun to try, but I probably wouldn't order again.

★★★★★

Fragrant and delicious with sweetness and tartness all bundled up together, this has quickly become one of my new favorite teas! It also is a great tea to use in creating new tea blends! Delicious!

I really enjoyed this tea. It's fragrant, and has a very strong, sweet flavor, all on its own. It's flowery, and fruit-y, and just all-around a nice tea to sip in the middle of the day.

This tea tastes like springtime somewhere tropical! This is the tea I grab when I want to escape. Makes an excellent iced tea as well.

I am not a fan of flower-tasting tea, and this one is no exception. I really want to like all of the tea that I drink, but I just can't bring myself to like it. I don't want to feel as though I am drinking a bouquet of hibiscus flowers.

★★★★☆

Beautiful smell, nice flavor - not too overpowering. Sweet all by itself.

★★★★★

This tea was fantastic. It's a very fruity black tea with a nice subtle hibiscus taste. The tea doesn't brew too strongly, and it smells delicious. I would highly recommend it!

★★★☆☆

A very strong flavor, but I am not sure if it is very 'hibiscus-y.' I am not a huge fan of this. It is not awful, but not very good either.

★★★☆☆

Very flowery with a sharp, overly sweet taste. Not for me, but I have friends that really enjoy it. Did enjoy it when I mixed it with Chocolate, however.

★★★★★

I was apprehensive about this tea at first, but it was added to my order as a free sample, so I gave it a try. Now it's one of my favorite teas! It's kind of bitter-sweet, and it tastes great with just a little honey. I let it steep for a little over 5 minutes so it will be nice and strong!

★★★★☆

Normally I drink hibiscus tea with a higher concentration of hibiscus. But this mix of black tea and hibiscus is tangy and sweet but with a boldness that you get from the black tea. A great alternative to mostly hibiscus tea.

I would love if Adagio had just plain hibiscus with out any other ingredients, especially for blends. But this is pretty tasty as is.

★★★☆☆

I am not a big fan of this one. I was excited to find a hibiscus flavored tea, but the flavors aren't really that strong for me. It lacks the distinct flavor I associate with hibiscus flower.

★★★★☆

The flavor is a little strong. It is a flavor I have to get use to but its much better hot then cold.

★☆☆☆☆

Doesn't taste like something you should ingest...more like air freshener.

★★★★★

I love everything about this tea, reminds me of a small place called mililani. the slight floral scent after brewing is fantastic, a little strong for most but by far my favorite.

I love the tartness of this tea, and blending it with others enhances floral notes.

The drink that is made from this is absolutely refreshing and delicious. I just let some petals brew in cold water in the fridge overnight and enjoyed it the next morning with some sweetner.

Actually ordered this tea for my grandmother. But in the end, I really enjoyed it myself as well. Has a relatively strong bodied flavor.

Not too strong or overpowering on the hibiscus. This was was ok.

★★★★☆

A good vivid tea with a beautiful colour. Would work well for entertaining.

★★★★☆

I'm not in love with this tea as a hot tea, but it makes a lovely cup of iced tea! Will be a great summer tea.

This tea hooked me in the store by its distinct Aroma. Cupping left me thinking it was good tea with great aroma. The aroma exceed the tea...
