Pretty good, light flavor. Would be yummy iced in the summer.
Tangy, sour-sweet Hibiscus flower with brisk Ceylon tea. The fruity-spicy aroma and rich flavor are refreshing hot or iced!

Pretty good, light flavor. Would be yummy iced in the summer.
I had high hopes for this tea as a summer iced tea, but this one wasn't as good as I expected. The dry tea has an odd bubble-gummy smell to it, and the brewed tea (iced) isn't nearly as acidic and refreshing as I'd hoped. It has a nice floral flavor, but is not reminiscent of the real hibiscus tea my friend brought me home from Egypt that has a strong lemony aftertaste. Nice for a floral iced tea, but not hibiscus-y enough for me.
I like this tea I just wish it tasted more like hibiscus, it just tastes like rose to me.
I love hibiscus. I like it so much I eat dehydrated hibiscus flowers(if you've spent time in Mexico, you know what I mean). If you like a fruity, tart flavor, almost like a cranberry, this tea is for you. Though the sweet and tart flavor mellows out a bit with the black tea.
I have a KitchenAid Insta-Hot in my kitchen. It gives me about water that ranges 165-180 degrees. The hibiscus can stand up to a much higher temp, but the black tea can get bitter when steeped for 5 minutes at 212.
I had no idea what hibiscus would taste like, so I got a sample. I'm glad I did! It is flowery and perfumey, but in a good way if that makes sense.
quite good and full of caffeine really wakes you up in the morning
Very tasty, very colorful. I like this better than the pure hibiscus I've had before. Mixing it with black tea mellows the hibiscus flavor nicely.
This is one of my favorite teas, I love to just breathe in the smell of it before I drink it. It has a full flavor without being fruity or tangy. It makes me happy :)
It seems a pretty basic tasting tea to me. I do prefer it slightly sweetened.
Amazing! Great floral flavor. I especially loved it mixed with the mango tea with some slices of fresh orange. Fabulous and refreshing iced tea.
Not really the most interesting mix in the world. This tea really needs a pure herbal version.
Floral but not over the top...I have had other flower teas that were way too perfumey and that was not the case with this one. Not my favorite, but not too bad either.
Very sweet and slightly tart aftertaste. Loved the scent!
Very enjoyable tea! Love the synergy of the black tea and the tartness of the hibiscus
Loved the sweet flowery taste of this tea. Will definitely purchase again
I love this tea. It is one of the best hibiscus tea I ever had. I like it with lemon grass.
I loved this tea! The soothing aroma and flavor brought back childhood memories of the elderly couple whose home was behind ours growing up. The yard was full of flowers and always had a delightful scent...just like this tea!
Very sweet. Only for people who like a very fruity tasting sweet tea.
Great flavorful tea. I usually mix it with another black tea like keemun encore or irish breakfast. It's ok by itself, but I prefer to mix it to cut down on the flowery flavor. I like it as much as jasmine and it is very similar.
This one is just the red roses one might be familiar with. We take the amount of tea by weight, and the accurate, and as a matter of fact expensive measurement device, the more favorable. For one, the tea you're using is precious, so every waste should be heeded, and secondly, you would get better results, in the sense of repeatability from one preparation to the next, and everything that goes with it, aroma, taste, and preserving basic chemical constituents that might be of benefit. About the steeping temperature, it is advisable to take account of the ambient or room temperature. If one is about to steep the tea at 180F, it makes a lot of difference, if the place one lives, also considering time of year, is somewhere in the lower 70's, or upper 80's. If one takes the tea experience very seriously, one might consider to know the temperature values as well. It might seem that it takes all the fun out, and make it a mechanical task, but then again, it is worth the effort in terms of a more enhancing tea experience, and another kind of fun, as well. The best way, of course, is to find out these numbers according to one's disposition, namely, trial and error. Basically, tea spoon measurement might vary from one to other, the measuring spoon might not be uniform, and unnecessary waste might be the end result. We are not sure how adept one is in calculating, but generally, 3.0 grams of this tea, which turns out to be 0.1oz, steeped in boiling water enough for two cups, for about 7 Minutes, can be used two or maybe three more times. As the Web site informs, large deviations from temperature and time, can result in either insufficient brewing, or 'burning' if the temperature is to high, or the steep time is large, which one loses the very desirable characteristics one had in mind, when purchased. Hibiscus has a especially strong aroma and taste.
Hibiscus is supposed to lower blood-pressure, and that is the reason I bought it- but it doesn't taste good itself. When blended with some chai it tastes much better, though.
Wish I had been able to taste the hibiscus a bit better, but still good!
This tea was a little too tangy and fruity/flowery for my taste.
It's pretty good. It smells like it would be sweet, but it's not.
This makes a wonderful iced tea in the summer when you want that full dose of caffeine in the morning but you just can't handle hot tea.
Not a bad tea; it smelled lightly flowerly, and held up well with milk and sugar. Good straight-up tea.
The silkiness of the bags held the tea well and the aroma was amazing, adding to the really subtle flavor of the tea. I simmered it hot to make it an iced drink and it is quite refreshing with a little sweetner and lemon. I will definitely order more.
Made a great cup of black tea with a little kick of flavor making it very drinkable
I found this tea very enjoyable; I hadn't had any hibiscus tea for a few years, despite it being what got me hooked onto tea in the first place, so it was refreshing to have again.
Decent, but I probably will not reorder this for myself. A friend of mine really liked it, so perhaps I will order it as a gift for him.
I highly enjoyed this flavor. I was nervous because I had bought a hibiscus flavored tea at a local Chinese market and it, frankly, tasted like dirt. Not earthy, mind you, just plain unclean dirt. Adagio's hibiscus tea is soooo much better :) Don't tell anyone, but I mix mine with a bit of amaretto liqueur and it's delish :)
VERY fragrant and fruity, a bit sweet. Definitely not for people who don't like flowery teas or sweet teas. I enjoy both so I really do like this tea. No bitterness or chalky aftertaste, just a nice clear flavor. I enjoy this as an afternoon tea. I brew 2 level tablespoons for 3.5 minutes in my IngenuiTEA.
This one will make a great blender... fantastic aroma.
This tea is delicious! Great alone or with sugar.
Perhaps I'm simply not familiar with hibiscus as a flavor but I find it a bit too acidic and bitter for my taste. Completely drinkable but I probably won't reorder.
A little tangy with a good blend of hibiscus and tea flavor--not as tart as pure hibiscus tea, but still delicious.
Lighter then some hibiscus teas. But overall a very good tea.
This tea is really pretty -- prettier than it is tasty, but it's not too shabby in the taste department. Kinda zingy. Gorgeous, and zingy.
I guess I expected something more floral, like the lavendar I buy from another vendor. This was vaguely like california plums in flavor. A perfectly nice flavored black tea. No weird artificial taste. Not exactly what I expected
This is an interesting. I actually mixed it with something else. It smelled good but was bitter. Next time I need to add less to see what happens.
This is one of my favorite teas. It smells so good and tastes even better!
It might have just been a bad batch but my particular sample tasted somewhat soapy. Not pleasant at all
I really like this tea. Both the tea flavor and the hibiscus flavor are very strong. However, hibiscus has a very unique flavor that can leave a bit of an aftertaste. I would recommend getting the sample first to see if you like hibiscus or not.
I bought this to mix with some of my herbal teas and love it! Its great in the mornings too.
It's a good tea-I'm not a fan of the smell (too much like perfume).
Not my favorite flavor. I know people who love this tea though so if you're into the really floral teas this might just be the one for you. This tea in my opinion is better when iced. A tolerable tea but I wouldn't suggest it to my friends.
This was my first experience with hibiscus, but I really enjoyed it. Definitely unique among the floral teas.
It is not always easy to find hibiscus tea, and this is just beautiful. The flavor, aroma, and texture are perfect, and I love being able to add this to herbal blends and grind it up to add to breads.
I thought the flavorant in this didn't turn out too well. Seemed too produced.
It took me a few cups to get into this tea, but after I started liking it it became a new favorite. Amazing.
