Smelled wonderful and tasted even better! It was a wonderfully strong tea that was unlike any of the other teas i have tried. It also tastes fantastic iced.
Tangy, sour-sweet Hibiscus flower with brisk Ceylon tea. The fruity-spicy aroma and rich flavor are refreshing hot or iced!

Smelled wonderful and tasted even better! It was a wonderfully strong tea that was unlike any of the other teas i have tried. It also tastes fantastic iced.
I'm not a fan of the hibiscus mixed with black tea... I love all the other adagio teas i've tried, but this one just wasn't for me.
The flavor of this tea honestly reminds me a bit of the candy Spree, which is weird but I mean it in a tasty way. I'm usually not one for sweet, flowery teas, but I really do like this one. I just keep sugar away from it and it's perfect.
Out of all the teas I've ever reviewed on Adagio, this one by far the worst. When I opened the bag, it smelled of artificial cherries. The flavor was exactly what I smelled, not pleasant at all. The tea also tasted oddly musky. I'll buy the actual flower instead and enjoy a real glass of agua de jamaica.
Not a bad taste! It's interesting with a bit of a flowery/fruity taste! I am still trying to figure out what is the best way to make it however.
Love this tea! I actually prefer it iced. It's very refreshing!
This tea was very good. Though, I wish they had added more Hibiscus, and less tea and flavorings.
I have tasted this before, with a friend, so I bought it for me... and when I say, 'me' I mean only ME! I'm not sharing this one!
This tea tastes wonderful and will be great as an ice tea in the summer time!
I didn't expect much as I think of hibiscus as something you throw into fruit tisanes to add color and save money, but I quite enjoy this! Definitely worth a shot if you like floral tea.
There is a pretty full flavored tea, but the floral accents are kind of fake. Overall I like it though.
Very floral and perfume-like, especially straight out of the bag. Not quite what I expected, but would be lovely in the spring.
Really floral and fruity! I think this tea would be best cold.
It has a very earthy taste. There is not bitterness or aftertaste. You get a sweet flowery taste that is very pleasant. I look forward to trying it iced with a little sugar to sweeten it up even more.
This smells so fruity when you open the bag and tastes sweet too.
Spectacular flavor and aroma. Best hibiscus of any that I've tried.
I've never had hibiscus, I got this as my free sample, but I'm not sure I'd actually buy it in the future.
Holy moly. Smells like sweet heaven in the bag, and just as great in the cup. Yummmmmm.
Ordered this for a friend who says it is delicious.
This is a very good tea. In my opinion, when I smell it, it smells like cherry candies or cherry cough drops. Not in the bad way either. It's sweet but not overly sweet. It's good with just a touch of sugar.
I had high expectations from this tea. Initial sips had a wonderful mouthfeel, but no matter what temp/time I brew with I get a bitter, unpleasant aftertaste. I'd love to see a hibiscus mixed with something other than black tea.
very good, has a great floral sweetness, different from what i usually get but i've enjoyed it so far.
Yikes. If you want hibiscus, stick to herbal teas. It does NOT go well with black tea.
Great tea! I would recommend using this as a flavor enhancer to other teas.
From the bag this smells overwhelmingly flowery, but when brewed it's not an overwhelming flavor at all. I also brewed it with Berry Blast one time. super good.
This is a wonderful tea. Even before brewing, I opened the bad and there was a very distinct floral aroma. The tea has a very nice spice to it. Even without sugar added, it has a light sweetness about it. I would suggest it to anyone who enjoys floral teas of any sort.
This is a tea that tastes better iced. I drink agua de jamica all the time which is iced hibiscus tea in spanish, so I was excited when adagio sent me a sample with one of my purchases. True I prefer the taste of pure hibiscus instead of black tea flavored ones but it's not too bad. If you aren't fond of it hot the try it iced with some sugar. It's much better that way.
The Hibiscus tea is really phenomenal. The taste isn't over-powering at all. The taste of the flower is very fresh and, yes, refreshing and tastes even better with a little bit of honey.
I prefer to drink my tea cold but even after a minute in the microwave I was definitely in love with this tea!!!
I'm not usually one to enjoy bagged tea anymore and black tea is generally a bit too bitter for me but this tea was actually pretty good. Still black tea so I had to add sweetener but a tea that I thought was done well. :)
The flavor was good and I added a little honey to sweeten it a bit. The smell of the tea was not as nice- it smelled almost soapy to me.
I ordered this for a friend. We both find it fine, and good quality, but not quite the flavor we were expecting. Tastes too perfumey. Not planning to order again, but if floral and perfumey is your thing, you'll probably like it.
Sorry to say, this one was a bit disappointing after all the great Adagio teas I had tried. I think that in the future, when I want hibiscus flavor, I will go for a pure hibiscus. For me, the flavor just did not mesh satisfactorily with the black tea.
I LOVE this tea! My favorite tea from adagio so far! Sometimes hibiscus teas are quite tart but this one is very floral and sweet!
Loved the aroma and taste! Also loved that it was free!
I normally don't like flowery teas but the hibiscus is really great. Other reviewers have said it's really sweet but I thought it was more strongly floral than sweet. A delicious drink!
I was really into this. I've had hibiscus tea once long ago that I remember thinking was pretty good, and I love floral teas. It was iced so that's how I took it this time- it was fruity ans tangy and just sweet enough.
I was immediately put off by the smell of this tea. The taste wasnt that much better. Maybe I dont like hibiscus but I ended up giving the rest of my sample to a friend.
This tea is great iced, with or without sugar! I personally enjoy flowery teas though, but this one isn't that flowery in taste. Mostly it just smells kind of flowery. A sweet and enjoyable summer tea.
Love this tea! Flavorful and not too sweet or too flowery.
The Hibiscus tea is ver flowerly, and for good reason. The scent is very aromatic to the point of perfume but not pungently so. It does succeed in tasting a great deal like it smells which doesn't always happen with tea. Unless I haven't played with this tea enough yet, I've tasted absolutely no tanginess nor fruitiness. It is sweet, however.
I wasn't sure what to expect. There's a tangy bitterness to the tea when it's in the package, but it brews up into a nice floral, tart tea.
Wonderful fresh smell and rather sweet. I added some honey to bring out the flavor, definitely a keeper
I don't think I'll ever not love hibiscus tea. Amazingly sweet and floral-fruity. This is a favourite, for sure.
This is and odd blend as far as I'm concerned, and the taste was sweet, but I'd buy it again.
I admit, I was terrified to try this. I've been a bit afraid of The Hib, as it can be overwhelmingly tart, especially when it's used as a filler in herbal teas.
I cold-brewed this, and it's actually really good. It gives the black tea a bit of spice and tartness without becoming sour. Haven't tried it hot, but very good cold-brewed.
Tried this twice, but was disappointed both times. It has a fruity, sweet smell in the bag, but brewed it has a bitterness that overwhelms the other flavors.
The amount of sugar I had in mine made the hibiscus taste like bubblegum! A very nice, fruity, sweet tea.
Not one of my favorites, it has an almost bitter taste. I mix this tea half and half with the ginger peach and it is pretty good as a hot tea.
Before I tried this tea, I couldn't fully understand the term 'floral tea', hah, but after I tried this, I got it immediately. It appropriately tasted like drinking a nicely flavored flower petal. That might not sound very good to some people, but I do enjoy this tea a lot.
It was more floral tasting than I had expected, but still a really good tea. If you don't like floral teas, I'd stay away from that, but it also tastes pretty fruity with a hint of sweetness.
