Had this tea just yesterday, (christened a new teapot in the process!) ~ a delicious tea, I steeped it for a fair amount of time yet it was not at all bitter, had a well-rounded flavor with a sweet aftertaste. Tastes wonderful prefer it on its own or with just a teaspoon or so of sugar. Lovely hibiscus flavor, almost herbal but with a fruity side. Would definitely recommend.

It has great delicate flavor and pleasing aroma. It's good for unwinding in the afternoon.

Tangy, sweet, floral, and fruity. I like hibiscus in herbal teas but I didn't think it worked as well with the black tea.

This tea is quite nice. It smells lovely too. I prefer it iced as opposed to hot.

Before this tea, I hated every hibiscus-containing tea that I tried. It always seemed to overpower everything it was in. This tea surprised me. The hibiscus notes are very subtle in give it a flowery taste without becoming really tarty and bitter like most hibiscus herbals tend to for me, and didn't require copious amounts of sweetener just to be drinkable. Blends well with the blueberry black tea to strengthen the fruitiness of it without losing the black tea entirely.

very pleasant floral taste which, while not overpowering, is just strong enough that it should be left for those who truly enjoy floral teas. I enjoy it both warm and iced.

Not my favorite. I love hibiscus tea, but this tea has an overwhelming fragrance that detracts from the experience. very strong.

Not quite sure how I feel about this one. I love the fruity aroma, which translates surprisingly well into the flavor. I just feel like it could be... fruitier, somehow. May be best with a little bit of sugar.

There needs to be a 'Freaking Delicious' button, because this flavor is exactly that. I know I said Earl Grey is my ultimate favorite, but this tea is almost head up with it! Its flavor is so unique that it's almost hard to put it into words. Sweet, maybe a tad tangy but not very much, possibly a bit of a floral flavor, but not very noticeable. The flavor changes as it cools, quite a journey to yummyland. Would definitely recommend this to anyone I know, haha.

I don't know that I'd count this among my favorites, but it does have a sweet and fruity flavor to it.

My first taste of Hibiscus was in tropical Mexico. This tea didn't disappoint.

I couldn't really get into it, until it cooled - I like it much better as an iced tea. Then again, this is the first time I've had hibiscus flavored anything, so take my review with a grain of salt!

Sweetly summery, slightly tangy, and oh-so-surprisingly good! I've tried this flavored ceylon tea in both hot and iced formulations, and with a little sweetener, its lovely flavor has yet to to disappoint. Well done, you crazy tropical flowers you. Well done.

I normally don't go for fruity or flowery teas but I'm really glad I decided to step outside my box for this! I just added a little bit of sugar and it was wonderful. very fruity in taste and smell.

This is definitely a new favorite for me. I wasn't sure how well I'd like it but I was really pleasantly surprised. It's a nice sweet, rich, slightly spicy floral black tea with a lot of flavor. Definitely on the fruitier side of floral, and it pairs well with fruit teas too. I love mixing it with other flavors. I'll definitely be keeping this one well stocked.

Fruity and sweet. No need for sugar, which is great for me, as I don't happen to have any. It could stand to steep a little longer than the three minutes advertised, as the darker notes have more time to render. Very good.

This is a more summery tea than most of mine, and I imagine it would work great blended with ceylon sonata as a nice iced tea. As it is, I think it works better as a flavor to blend with other black teas than as a stand-alone cup, but it's still very nice.

This was a great tea and so aromatic! I love having it as an afternoon pick me up, the scent and flavor are so invigorating. It is even better with a bit of the Yerba Mate mixed in a bit.

Flowery and sweet but I LOVE this. The sweetness may surprise some because it's a black tea, but it works very well. It vaguely reminds me of bananas, scent and flavor-wise! Definitely my favorite so far.

i'm not a fan of flowery teas to begin with. i'll have to try it iced.

When I smelt it, I knew I wasn't going to love it. Good, smooth flavor, but a little to flowery for my tastes. 7/10 would recommend :)

Not my favorite out of all the teas I ordered. But it's good(especially with honey) when you're in a floral mood.
★★★★★
The perfect amount of fruity and floral. This has definitely become one of my favorite summer teas. I don't love it as much as the coconut, so I don't buy it in the biggest bag size (I only have so much room for tea at my house). However, I do often mix it with a plain black tea to make it stretch farther.

I love hibiscus tea in general, but I think I prefer the hibiscus flavor on its own instead of mixed with ceylon. It's still a yummy tea, especially if you want a milder hibiscus flavor. It makes a very nice iced tea, which I think I enjoy more than hot.

I got it for my mother, and she really liked it.

I love the tangy flavor of the hibiscus tea at Zoes and Panera and thought that this tea would be similar. The flavor of the Adagio hibiscus was nothing like these teas. As an iced tea It is rather bland and unremarkable.

This tea was precisely what my girlfriend was looking for. She loves Hibiscus, but as an avid coffee drinker she needed something with caffeine too if it were to replace her usual cup in the evening. A very pleasantly strong flavored black tea, the hibiscus is kept from being overbearing by the tea itself. A great buy for a great price.

Really amazing taste but you need to know that it smells a LOT stronger than it tastes.

This smells gorgeous in the pouch and is very subtly sweet when prepared. I might try adding some honey in the future, although to me it tastes great on its own.

On it's own, this tea is somewhat mediocre. The hibiscus flavor can become very strong and totally overwhelm any tea flavor, and the aroma can be pleasent to pungent, depending on how it's steeped. The best use for this tea that I've found has been to blend it with other flavored teas to moderate it's flavor. I've had excellent results mixing it with Peach tea, usually a little bit more peach than hibiscus.

This tea, was fantastic. I can't review it highly enough! Perfect on its own, but even better when mixed with other teas. Interestingly enough, I loved it with peppermint! I tried it with white peach too, which was also enjoyable:)

I loved this tea iced, it's so fresh tasting. A summer tea definitely, it makes the hot days a little more bearable.

When I bought this tea, I feel that I was expecting the nostalgia of agua de jamaica, which is an iced hibiscus drink. I knew I was gambling with a black tea base, and in the end, I don't think I like how it blended. It's not altogether unpleasant, but maybe next time I want hibiscus tea, I'll go with pure hibiscus flowers and honey.

This was so good and tart and a pretty color, to boot. I almost wish Adagio offered a pure hibiscus blend!

It's quite possible that I'm simply a bad judge and don't grasp the appeal of hibiscus tea, but I find this tea to be unpleasantly sour, in a way that sweetener doesn't seem to help at all. There's a kind of pinching twist to the flavor. On the other hand, I have made at least one blend using this hibiscus tea that I really liked, and it was delicate and sweet without even the aid of sweeteners, so clearly this tea has its special appeal. I just don't understand how to access that appeal when the hibiscus flavor itself takes center stage.
★★★☆☆
Wasn't too impressed. Would work in a blend, to add color. But on it's own, it just didn't do it for me.

This would be great if the hibiscus was ever so slightly more prominent when drinking it on its own. However with the hibiscus being more subtle, it makes a nice base to mix other fruity or floral teas with (especially berry blues!)

I got this one as a free sample because I was curious--I've had some great teas with hibiscus, but hibiscus alone is sometimes too perfumey. This was fantasic! Smelled great, tasted great, and no atringent aftertaste. I liked the summer rose a little better, but I'll definitely be keeping some of this on hand.

This is a wonderful fruity tea. It's just a little floral. The black tea base is very tasty, but I would like to see a plain hibiscus tea.

Not bad at all, but I definitely prefer my rose and jasmine teas. If you like flower teas, though, it's certainly worth trying.
