Such a delicious, cozy tea, especially with some steamed milk or cream.

★★★★☆

It’s a good tea but didn’t make me think of “ Nutella” like I imagined it would .

★★★★★

Really not a fan of coffee, but I love the hazelnut smell. Now I know how good it tastes!!! This is in my top five for sure!

★★★★★

The hazelnut is really potent and the tea is really flavorful.

★★★★☆

Aroma is very strong. Flavor is okay, but I guess I'm not the biggest fan of hazelnuts after all.

★★★★☆

Lovely simple tea with a nice amount of hazelnut flavor. I love mixing it into other teas for just a hint of nuttiness!

This tea really hits the spot for my love of hazelnut flavored things. I used to drink hazelnut coffee until coffee caused me constant heartburn. This tea fills the coffee void in my life, and makes a delightful cup of tea.

Wonderful tea for the cooler mornings and afternoons as autumn gives way to winter. For me, I like this with a tiny bit of sugar.

If you are a fan of black tea and hazelnut, this tea will not disappoint. Nice tea to mix up your typical tea routine.

This is my default morning tea. It is a full black tea with a nutty warmth. I find that there are subtle differences in each bag I buy, sometimes there is a peppercorn flavor, sometimes the hazelnut is more pronounced. Regardless, it wakes me up most mornings :)

I'm usually not one to choose any hot beverage over tea but I find this hazelnut is missing a lot of body. It's an alright coffee substitute but hazelnut coffee does the flavor much better.

I love hazelnut but don't always like it in tea and coffee since it can be a bit overwhelming. This was fairly mild and surprisingly good.

It's a very different flavor of hazelnut than I'm used to with coffee but it's very good. Might be better with a bit of cream tea added.

Enjoyed this tea as a CommuniTEA sample. Very strong hazelnut aroma out of the bag. Steeped at 2g/8oz at 190°F for 2 minutes. Added a little brown sugar. The hazelnut flavor is pleasant, but I enjoyed the second steep even more with added honeybush chocolate.

I mixed a little bit of leftover hot cocoa in with this tea along with my creamer, making for a cup that tasted very similar to Nutella. Delicious!

Today's CommuniTea packet is hazelnut, which is black tea with added hazelnut flavor. The tea smells really lovely in the packet and brewed in the cup. I love hazelnuts and baking things with hazelnuts. But hazelnut is one of my favorite flavors for coffee, and that may be what stops me from adoring this. Definitely an unfair comparison, but hazelnut tea just doesn't taste quite as rich as hazelnut coffee. It's good, just not as good. If you like hazelnuts and your mind isn't comparing it with hazelnut coffee, you'll probably adore it! Steeped in 12 ounces of 205 degree water for just shy of three minutes.

This one really hit the spot today, I had two and a half mugs worth. (My mug is 16-17 oz.) I steeped at a lower temp for a shorter time to avoid as much astringency/bitterness as possible. I drank the first cup black, the second with a pinch of rock sugar, and the last half cup with creme. All were good but I don’t normally drink this much caffeine so I think I’ll stick with the honeybush version. 190° for 2/3/3.5 minutes.

Very good. It feels like it was made to go with my favorite brown sugar oatmilk creamer, but I think I would have liked it with a twist of cinnamon or chocolate or a little extra something something.

CommuniTEA packet tasting, this tea is delicious. It reminds me of the nuttiness of Nutella. Add a bit of sweetener and cream and you’ve got a delicious treat. Happy sipping!

I can appreciate hazelnut coffee, but I have to say, I am wowed by hazelnut tea. Hazelnut coffee can't compare anymore. The warm nuttiness blends well with the tea rather than competing with it as some other flavorings can do. It's rich and smooth and delightful with a little sweetener. What a great way to start the day!

Warm, toasty, nutty flavor. Makes a great latte. Don't steep at 212. Stick to 190.

Tried this one as part of CommuniTea and brewed for 2 minutes to and minimize any bitterness from the Ceylon. This tea was tasty with a rich hazelnut flavor. Noticed a tiny bit of bitterness as it cooled but overall an enjoyable cuppa.

I have tasted hazelnut in many blends but never on it's own before. The black tea was very smooth and hazelnut flavoring blended perfectly. Love a strong black tea in the morning. This is perfect for fall.

This tea is nutty and delicious. It has a strong hazelnut aroma with a slightly more subdued hazelnut flavor that balances well with the flavor of the Ceylon. This tea would go well with milk and sugar and would add some creaminess and further highlight the hazelnut flavor.

23 Sep 2021 note: Recommend 190°F steep now-a-days …

13 Aug 2020 review: Considering the heavy duty hazelnut aromas coming from bag, I thought to myself that this is finally one that will carry on into the cup. I was right, go figure! Glad I brewed this at 200F so the tea didn’t overpower the hazelnut. Pleasant and creamy hazelnut tastes and aromas carried on to the end. Added a little brown sugar to sweeten things and lower any black tea bitter aftertastes. This was a very tasty and dark-nutty-flavored drink. Added 1/4 tsp brown sugar.

This tea was an entire journey for me. Because I absolutely love salted roasted hazelnuts but really cannot stand hazelnuts in candies or desserts, I started drinking this tea plain. I even considered adding salt to it for a hot second.

And I really, really didn't like it. It tasted fake and had an awful aftertaste, and I just couldn't deal with it at all.

But then I decided to try it with a little milk and sugar, and holy hell did that change everything! Suddenly it was creamy, sweet, and nutty. It didn't taste as fake, and the aftertaste wasn't nearly as awful. This tea is downright enjoyable now!

So basically what I've learned is that I prefer eating savory hazelnuts but drinking sweet hazelnuts, and I have no idea why that is, but I'm content to just enjoy this tea without asking too many questions.

Yum, this is good. I did brew it at a lower temp (195/3 minutes) because black teas usually taste very bitter to me. This one smells so delicious (love hazelnut coffee and basically anything hazelnut). The taste is yummy--just hazelnuts--and would be divine with some chocolate/chocolate chips! It is still a little bit bitter. I'm going to try Adagio's suggestion and put a little brown sugar to sweeten it up. EDIT: Put 2 tsp. brown sugar (which I never do) and it sweetened it up, took off the bitterness, and bumped it up a star! Really good. Next time I might try brewing for 2 minutes or go even lower temp to see if that helps.

Dry tea smells of hazelnut. Once brewed, the resulting cup is a medium brown with hazelnut aroma. When hot, mild hazelnut flavors are present with the ceylon tea. When warm, more of the nutty hazelnut flavors are present, lingering into the finish. The black tea is not bitter, and is a good support for the hazelnut flavors. This tea holds up on its own without tasting too bitter or fake. Brewed at 200 for 3 minutes.

I like the Adagio hazelnut blended teas better than plain hazelnut. I added some Decaf Hazelnut Cinnamon Creme tea in with the plain hazelnut for a more enjoyable cup of tea. I added some golden monk fruit sweetener and a touch of milk. Nice cup of morning tea!

Good hazelnut flavor. I iced this with oatmilk and sweetener. Yummy latte!

Sipping along with the CommuniTEA: very strong hazelnut fragrance from the dry ingredients and packet. Once steeped for 3 mins at 190° F, more strong hazelnut scents wafting from cup. When I take a sip, I get more strong hazelnut flavors and bitter astringent ceylon tea tannins. For me the two do not counterbalance each other. It just kind of reminds me a overly roasted nuts.

Great nutty aroma and flavor. I started drinking Adagio Hazelnut as a replacement for coffee to reduce my daily caffeine intake. It satisfies my coffee urge and provides enough caffeine to keep me alert but does not make me jittery

I could drink this in Fall! It's got a great nutty taste. I will definitely take advantage of any steeps I can get out of it as my packet is today's Communitea sample. One of my favorites is chestnut but I drink that one in the winter. If you like nutty flavored teas, this one is good for Fall! Just don't overbrew it.

Delicious! Warm, comforting, and nutty. A perfect cup when cream and sugar are added. Be warned-the Ceylon bitterness is definitely present, steep at a lower temperature to control the tannin bite.
