Adore hazelnut flavor and am a Nutella fan. Funny enough not a hazelnut coffee drinker but love this hazelnut tea. It has a perfect nutty flavor that's warm and creamy and pairs well with the Ceylon tea base. Brewed the 3 g/ 2 tsp in my CT packet at 200*F for 3 min.to make 14 oz. The brown liquor was fine to drink unsweetened but sweetening brought out the best flavor for me. I used agave and skipped the dairy. Didn’t detect any bitterness and any astringency that might have been there was well hidden by the hazelnut. Steeped another 7 to 8 oz. then it was gone. Ordering more of this seasonal tea. And like a squirrel I’ll hide some away to last the winter.

I always smell the tea prior and this one said 'no' but I added some rock sugar and the tea and scent was very delicious. It was not overpowering and I did not experience any bitterness.

This tea is great. I like hazelnut coffee, and this definitely reminds me of that. The tea itself is a little astringent, which normally I don’t like. However, the taste is so good on this one, that I can overlook the dryness on my tongue. I brewed for 3 minutes at 190.

Dark and nutty (just like my sense of humor)- I loved this tea. I drank it without creamer or sweetener and was really sad when the cup was empty.

This one is pretty good. I'm not a fan of hazelnuts in food (I know, blasphemy!) but here I think it works well. It's just creamy and nutty enough without being cloying or overpowering (which is how I describe Nutella!). Add some sweetener and you have a nice fall cup to sip. Happy Sipping!

CommuniTEA Sample: I waffled back and forth on a 3 or 4 star as I think this is really 3 1/2. I like the taste, but not a fan of the aftertaste. Even steeping at a lower temp (195) there was a bit of a back bite and bitter aftertaste. I think it's the hazelnut flavor that I'm just not a huge fan of. But, if you like Hazelnuts, this would be a great tea for you.

I used to love hazelnut coffee, so expected this to taste like a weaker cousin. But I was pleasantly surprised to find this is a delicious cup of hazelnut goodness. It's a rich, smooth, full-flavored tea with lots of nutty aroma and taste. Autumn comfort in a cup.

This is a solid nut-flavored black tea; the hazelnut comes out more as a warm toasty note than specifically hazelnut, but it's comforting and pleasant. I like to blend this with some of the spice-based teas, such as Gingerbread or Rooibos Vanilla Chai, or a sweet fruity black to bring some additional warmth and depth. I rarely drink it on its own as it can get a bit acrid, but some brown sugar will take the edge off.

It's a nice tea with a very subtle nutty flavor. I like it, but I can't say I love it enough that I'd order another bag of it in favor of a different flavor.

This tea is a new favorite of mine! It is so warm and cozy. It is a lovely indulgent treat when drank hot with milk and brown sugar. Also makes an incredible boba tea that almost tastes like coffee. Will definitely be ordering this again!

A very simple tea but perfect first thing in the morning, especially with a splash of cream.

The scent reminds me of hazelnut creamer my mom used to use in her coffee. This makes a nice tea lattée. I added some cashew milk and a little sweetener and it was a smooth nutty taste.

Very strong hazelnut scent and flavor, blends beautifully with other flavored teas (Chocolate chip, cream, vanilla, etc), but is lovely as-is!

This one missed the mark for me. The hazelnut didn't come through & it was a little bitter.

This is nice tea when you want to change it up for something different. I like it occasionally in the afternoon.

To start with: I take all my teas black and unsweetened.

This exceeded my expectations. The smell is stronger than the flavor, but the flavor is still very distinct and not overpowered by the tea itself. It has a kind of toasted/caramel-y undertone, as you might expect from a nut-flavored tea, and I expect it's going to pair well with chocolate and cream teas.

Although I only drink my tea black and unsweetened I am tempted to try this iced, with sugar and milk, as I think it's borderline-coffee-shop in terms of flavor and it seems like it would hold up well in this context. It's excellent hot and black, however!

I slightly oversteeped this (almost five minutes) and it did not get bitter at all, but I used not-quite-boiling water.

Nice rich hazelnut aroma in the packet. Brews a dark orangish brown. In the mug it just smells and tastes like black tea.

It's pretty similar to the chestnut tea, but does differ in being somewhat less malty if that makes sense. Good tea and it may taste really good blended with the chocolate truffle tea and cream tea.

delicious nutty tea that did not become bitter, would be good with milk

I wasn t sure how I d feel about hazelnut flavoring in tea since I was so used to it in coffee. However, it s amazing. This is a tea I could drink every day for years

Nuts for a nutty pleasant satisfying cuppa! Creamy and rich but not overpowering that the beauty of the tea is not diminished. If you like hazelnuts, baby, this is the tea to go to for a lovely taste perk.

I'm not typically a major fan of flavored black teas, but this is one that really works well with the underlying tea character and brings out some additional nice notes. Works especially well as an iced tea.

Tasty, but for a coffee drinker, tastes more like a watered-down hazelnut coffee. Does work well paired with other teas, especially the Rooibos Nutcracker
