I have this tea off and on and it has a good citrus note, but I couldn't really tell the difference between this and passionfruit black. It doesn't stand out to me.

Very tasty. Grapefruit is my favorite citrus flavor. So nice to find a tea that has a true grapefruit taste.
The tea itself isn't bad, its a good standard black tea, but the grapefruit flavor falls rather flat and there is a taste within the tea that seems odd to me, almost like an 'off' citrus that's way to over ripe. It's not horrible and I'll finish my sample bag since I don't like to waste things but I wouldn't purchase it again.
The taste is what I expected it to be: very crisp. My only complaint is that this only has flavoring of grapefruit. The fruit pieces are oranges.
Agree with previous comments. Smells divine, though when steeped, not as strong as expected.
This is my new favorite tea! It's great for blending or all by itself, sweetened or unsweetened. Hot or cold. I drink so much of it, I'm thinking of having it auto delivered to my house.
I had tried this tea in a few blends before, but I'm on a mission to try all the teas on their own, too, and it was this one's turn - and it's great. I expected it to be more bitter or sharp tasting, or possibly super orangey. It's not, really. It's kind of a mild citrus flavor, not really sour like grapefruit usually is. It's probably going to be great made as an iced tea - and it works with creamer, too, which I didn't expect from a citrus tea! All around a win.
The grapefruit flavor is subtle, but not bad. Mostly tasted on the exhale.
Not very good for me a little bitter. I don't like to have to add sweetener.

This tea was hugely disappointing. I live in one of the major grapefruit producing areas of the United States, so I am well acquainted with this gem of a citrus, and this tea... I couldn't detect even a hint of it.
Now, the package it came in wasn't even labelled (but I saw the grapefruit pieces and it was the only unlabelled thing I go so by going through the list I figured out what it was) and the packaging it was in was of a lower quality than the other packages I have gotten. It may be that I got a bad or old pouch. I am tempted to order it again sometime later just to double check becuase I love grapefruit and I was hoping this was going to be a new favourite. But in its current state... I am sorely disappointed.
A really nice tea for summertime/warm weather. Very tart, pairs well with a bagel and cream cheese.
Now this is a tea I could swim in! The scent is tremendous and the flavor is incredible. Order today!

This is a very subtle grapefruit flavor without the tartness that puckers your tongue. It actually tastes more like a Pomelo to me, sweet and just right.
This blend has a great aroma, but falls kinda flat on the palette. I was hoping for a stronger citrus flavor.
I'm a huge fan of Adagio's Pisces Tea in the tin. So I thought it was only fair to give the regular grapefruit a try. I was not disappointed. The grapefruit shines through, while not overpowering the rest of the tea. I find this one DOES need stevia though. I've decided I like it every bit as much as the Pisces Tea and with my next order, I'm going to have to go with this one instead.
This is an okay tea. Not our favorite and will probably not get ordered again, but a fun departure from the norm.

This is a nice tea. There have been some Adagio teas that have really wowed me, and this just isn't one of them. The flavor is nice. The quality of tea is great, but it isn't WOW!
The scent when you open the bag is heavenly, but once brewed loses the grapefruit scent and has a good base note of grapefruit. It actually surprised me what flavor there was considering the loss of scent. Either way, I love this tea and will certainly consider ordering more.

It took a little getting used to at first, but after a few cups, I really like the way it tastes. It's not sugary or too fruity. Rather, it tastes like the rinds of a grapefruit, which I actually prefer.
Man, I love this tea. I love citrus in general. Some of the comments were saying there was too much citrus. Never possible for me. It's a great tea to wake up to.

Great morning drink. I like it as my morning commute iced tea. The citrus teas are great because the bitter/tart taste is gone and all that's left is the GRAPEFRUIT taste.
