The tea was not as strongly 'Gingerbread' flavored as I expected. I ended up using double the recommended amount of tea for steeping (2teaspoons). However, the Gingerbread flavor that was there was nice! I would only buy if you know you enjoy black tea more so than how much you enjoy Gingerbread.

This is perfect blend of spice and rooibos tea. It really does taste like gingerbread. Great for cool to cold weather.

One 9f the neat things with Adagio is they get their flavors right, sometimes more so than you d want. This tastes like gingerbread alright. It just lacks as a tea a bit if that makes sense.

I really wanted to love this, but while there's nothing wrong with the flavor, it doesn't really do anything for me. Overall, I'm going to stick with regular ginger tea.

Hmm I do taste a mellow gingerbread flair, it tastes like a mild chai.

It's okay. Not mind-blowing, but if you want ginger bread taste as a tea then it satisfies.

This actually reminds me of the flavor of chai I get at coffee shops more than the masala chai here does. I like to go to this one for a warm black-tea treat. It has the right level of depth and spice and just a hint of sweetness. I drink it with milk.

I was a fan of this one. The tastes is night and the ginger leaves a pleasant aftertaste, although I do wish the gingerbread came through a little more while drinking and not just as an after affect

I love the smell of this when it is steeping. Gingerbread is a holiday weakness

Although the flavor was pleasant, there was a bitterness on the back end that I didn't care for.

Gingerbread is the epitome of warm and cozy to me. It's smooth and flavorful. The spices are there but not sharp and peppery as many people may expect from "gingerbread." I drink it with a splash of half & half and just a little sugar or maple syrup.

Exactly what the description promises ! Hint of orange, cinnamon, ginger. It’s not as excellent with re steeps, but it’s definitely a fun one. Will enjoy this while it lasts but probably not one to repurchase. A nice mix of flavors though!

I agree with a lot of reviews that there seems to be a consistency problem with this tea, so I'd suggest ordering smaller amounts. That being said, when you get a good batch of this tea it's GOOD! I make it with honey and creamer, and is one of the few teas I enjoy more hot then cold (although both are good). The occasional 'bad' batch isn't terrible, and I still enjoy it, and just keep in mind every batch won't be the best. One of my go-to's, especially in winter.

This is definitely a nice, winter tea. There are so many different essences in this tea, all of which have a wintry feel to them. It has a spicy taste with the essences of chocolate & cinnamon. A comforting tea on a cold winters day.

One of my favorite black teas from Adagio. A nice robust black tea, but the gingerbread flavors are quite accurate and do not leave you disappointed from any dissonance between smell and taste, which I find is common with many other brands of teas. Please note, water boils at 199 degrees where I am, due to altitude.

This tea was okay, but I wouldn't get it again. It didn't really taste like gingerbread to me.

Only okay? It has a flavor that hints at gingerbread, but doesn't quite evoke it. Better with a little honey.

The flavor is a little weak even at 5 minutes, but it absolutely tastes like gingerbread and is lovely with a little cream and extra sugar added.

I was gifted this tea for Christmas, and, just...WOW. I was dumbfounded at how much I loved this tea. Generally, I like sweeter, more floral teas, but this was just delightful. I had it with a spoonful of macadamia nut honey from Trader Joe's, and it went perfectly together. Most definitely recommend it!

not as spicy and gingery as I'd hope from a gingerbread

Although it wasn't a strong gingerbread taste, I did really enjoy the flavor of this tea. It wasn't over powerfull in any particular flavor but had a nice warm harmonious combination of flavors.
I will purchase this tea again

Another solid black tea. The gingerbread flavoring isn't strong, but it's there, and tastes pretty good. Great for Christmas time, but I'm sure it can be enjoyed year round.

I didn't love this one. I didn't taste a gingerbread flavor or even the associated spices of clove and cinnamon. It was a bit bitter tasting.

So yummy! It smells and tastes just like real gingerbread. I really enjoyed mine steeped extra long with milk and sugar.

It's good. The ginger is not strong. It's a subtle ginger flavor, from the bits of gingerbread cookies.

I found that it's really hard togingerbread cookie. This one fell short for me as well, and doesn't really have the gingerbread flavor I was looking for. It's not a bad tea, just not the flavor profile I was looking for.

This tastes like a hug in a cup. It's slightly sweet on its own, but if you add just a tiny bit of sweetener it's like indulging in a treat with a fraction of the calories.

This is delicious, really loving this tea and will be sad when I run out as I think it's seasonal
★★★☆☆
Can't really detect any gingerbread. I was expecting a kind of chai flavor or something with more of a punch. In the bag and once brewed, it kind of just smells like black tea. I get a SLIGHT flavor of a ginger pastry when sipped. It's not a bad tea, but it's not a gingerbread flavored tea, it's basically just black tea.

I had expected a spicy smell to this tea, but I wasn't really get much of anything. As far as the flavor is concerned, I'm not really getting the gingerbread quality to it. There is an ever so slight artificial quality that lingers for a few moments in the back of the throat. Overall it is a decent spiced tea.

I love this one on a cold morning. It makes you think of the holidays that have just past. It has a great flavor too. I recently ordered the sample and regretted not getting more!

Fantastic smell with delicate taste! The fragrance of the tea is spot on and full of warm ginger with just a hint of bright citrus to lift everything. Taste is a surprisingly light after such a scent bomb, so i would recommend doubling the amount per cup. The addition of milk makes for a creamy spicy treat to start the morning. Really the main detractor is the light flavor which

It's not that this is necessarily a BAD tea, but compared to the spiced signature blend I had sampled about an hour prior, it was just…bland. It tasted slightly washed out, like it was oversteeped–and steeping a little less didn't help, at all. It's just not strong enough or spiced enough to taste like, well, anything. It's mostly just sort of...black tea-ish. If you're looking for a spiced gingerbread-style cuppa, try The Lucky Cat signature blend, also sold here on Adagio.

This tea has a very subtle gingerbread flavor. As a gingerbread lover, at first I thought it was too subtle, but a few sips in, I was sold. A good, strong cuppa with a dash of gingerbread flavor.

I love gingerbread cookies, and in the picture it kinda looks like there should be cookie bits in with the black tea, or maybe ginger pieces, but when steeped, I don t get any gingerbread flavor. I get more of a spiced gingerbread flavor with my other ginger teas, so I have been having to mix this one in with some of my others to make it taste like it says. Otherwise it is a fine black tea that kinda smells like gingerbread, but the taste is lacking unfortunately. I was so hoping to add this one into my seasonal rotation, but I will stick with my other gingerbread teas, as this one was disappointing.
