Nice fall flavor. Good ginger/cinnamon flavor. (Not quite “gingerbread-y” to me though.) The flavor is a little lighter compared to other teas so you can add a little extra leaves for more flavor.

What a warm, slightly spicy tea for the fall months. This is cozy and I expect would be decadent as a cookie with some sugar and milk, but I like it just plain.

This is a nice tea, but I'm not sure it's really 'gingerbread' flavored - there's a bit of vague 'spice' flavor that's nice if I'm not looking for a full-on chai, but it doesn't hold a candle to its cookie namesake.

This tea is a wonderful blend of strong black tea and ginger!

★★★★☆

A fairly nice flavor that honestly tasted way more like eggnog than it did gingerbread. It was pleasant but I don't think I'd order too much more of it.

★★★★★

My absolute favorite along with the chestnut tea. Give it a try!

As with all the spiced teas I have sampled, Gingerbread is another delicious perfectly balanced tea - flavors and spices combine and do not overpower the senses.

This is just ok. Try the chia if you want a better ginger flavor

I tried a lot of gingerbread tees over the holiday season and this one was by far my favorite. Lots of tea companies play with the bases but adagio always seems to get it right. My favorite thing about adagio blends is how wonderfully well-balanced they all seem to be. I can tail that there were painstaking steps taken to be sure each blend is as enjoyable as it can be. It seems to be the case I my humble opinion

This was a good classic tea. Exactly how you would imagine, it was a little spicy

★★★★☆

It's creamy and slightly spicy but a little lackluster. I may feel that way, though, because I want spicy tea to punch me in the face!

Nice and cozy. The perfect cup to have hot when your snuggling on

★★★★☆

It definitely tasted like ginger bread but it tasted like it had a little bit more of ginger short of taste to my like. But definitely was amazing though

Love this flavor year round. Great with sugar or milk, I use soy milk. Lots of flavor.

★★★★★

If you like chai tea but don't like a strong bite, this is the tea for you. A little more mellow spice but still great flavor.

I love gingerbread cookies so I thought I would try this tea. It's not what I expected. I added milk and stevia. It's ok. Maybe I need to try again fixing it different.

★★★★★

Tasted exactly like gingerbread cookies to me, best with cream

★★★★☆

I wanted to love this but it fell a little short for me. I was hoping for more ginger and more 'bread.' That being said, it was a nice, smooth black tea with no astringency and a hint of malt. I brewed at 212 for 3 minutes. Second steep was still good but even more watered down in flavor, no ginger at all, I guess it gave its last measure in the first round. It has a hint of ginger and background food taste that does not quite translate as cookies, bread, or cake. Nevertheless, I would purchase it again because it was delicious. I minus one star because it really should have more ginger to be properly called gingerbread. This is more nice holiday tea with a hint of vanilla and non-descript spice. I get more of the ginger and food taste as it cools and when I added Stevia. Maybe I will try again with a longer brew time and if that brings out more of the ginger taste, I will modify my review.

This tea was a pretty decent black tea. Instantly after opening the bag it did in fact smell like gingerbread cookies. The taste was good and did taste like gingerbread however there were very little amounts of orange pieces in it so that was slightly disappointing. Would definitely drink it again.

This is a new favorite! You can really taste the ginger and orange, I thought the orange would throw me off but it was the perfect addition to the flavor! A little milk and sugar and it is perfect!

The smell is amazing! Love this tea blended with the Chocolate Chai. It gives a nice spice boost to the Chai.

★★★☆☆

The flavor in this tea was really subtle, which was disappointing. I was hoping for a stronger ginger taste. It didn't taste bad at all, but I didn't know it was supposed to taste like gingerbread I would have never known.

★★★★☆

I am a huge fan of spiced teas, Chai, Cinnamon etc. This gingerbread is pretty good but it may take me a bit to come to love it.

★★★★★

I really like holiday teas. I have purchased several bags of Adagio Christmas. Gingerbread can't really be compared to any other Adagio tea. It is great during anytime during the winter.

The winter holidays in a teacup! This blends the various spices of gingerbread well. Feel warmer instantly with a relaxing cup!

A good black tea, though the gingerbread is fairly muted in the background. Mostly just tastes like a generic tea.

★★★★★

I love the blend of ginger, cinnamon, and orange in this tea. @adagioteas

The gingerbread flavor was subtle but good. It was best with cream and sweetener and the flavor became a little more noticeable as it cooled.

This might be one of the best spiced teas I’ve had… but I would have to go back and drink them all again to say for certain.

This tea is very good I wish it was a little stronger. The ginger is not the forward flavor I feel it's in the background

★★★☆☆

While this isn't a 'bad' tea, it's a little bland and I'm not tasting much of the ginger. I always add 2% milk in my black teas, so perhaps this mellows it a bit, but something seems to be missing.

★★★★★

An easy sipping tea with mild ginger flavor. For more ginger zing, which I love, try Adagio’s Double Ginger herbal tea. It delivers a delightful zesty bite of spice while this Gingerbread tea has a tamer profile and a black tea base that’s perfect for a boost of caffeine that pairs well with baked goods.

My CT packet had almost 4 g or 2 ¼ tsp of dark tea leaves with brown spicy bits. No orange peel, though. Brewed 12 oz. at 200*F for 3 min. the tawny brown liquor with a whisper of spice scent and a mild ginger flavor had no bitterness detected. A splash of milk and a sweetener add brought out a soft ginger flavor which I enjoyed along with the taste of smooth black tea. A resteep of 6 oz. was flavorful too. Would rate this tea 4 ½ stars but after brewing 6 cups from a sample pouch, I must have liked it more than I thought, so 5 stars instead. It’s a pleasant holiday sip.

Gingerbread tea, sample through ct, was a very pleasant sip the gingerbread flavor was present without being overpowering, it would also probably be lovely with a bit of cream and sweetener.

This tea is so good! It stands up well to a lengthier brewing time, up to 5 minutes, and is enjoyable both with milk and without. If you're missing the gingerbread flavor that a certain famous coffee chain has gotten rid of in the last few years, this makes a nice substitute!

I adore ginger. Its such a good flavor! Added some cream and sugar and it was a delightful treat.

This tea has the spiced scent of gingerbread but is a bit light on flavor. This one was nice to sip but would prefer this tea to be a little more bold.

Fine as a black tea to drink and has a cookie aroma. Needs a bit more gingerbread taste added to have that holiday flavor.

This tea tastes best with its namesake, gingerbread! A little bit of sweetener and cream never hurt either. Steeped at 195 F x 3 min.

I like the idea of Gingerbread tea, but the flavors in this one were a little weak. I sampled this from a CommuniTEA single packet, so could just be the mix.

The flavors were pretty mild in this tea. I mostly got black tea taste. I brewed in about 5-6oz water, 212F and brewed for 4mins.

It was ok, but didn’t taste any ginger, (213 @ 3 min.)

Didn’t taste a lot of gingerbread while it was hot. Starting to now as it cools. And almost a hint of Orange maybe?

★★★★★

Steeped correctly, this tea is delicious. 200 for three minutes

CommuniTEA Sample: Not a lot of gingerbread flavor, but some ok spice to it. More gingerbread flavor would really boost this one.

Slightly bitter with a pleasant nuttiness and an orange tang. The orange keeps it from tasting like gingerbread to me, but it's sweet and nice either way. I recommend brewing at 180 for 5 minutes.

★★★★★

I love this tea!!! I love my teas dark, rich and spices and this one fits the bill perfectly. The Gingerbread taste is revealed more after a dash of sweet cream! This would make a heavenly tea latte!

★★★★★

Smells like ginger and brown sugar, with a nice hit of cinnamon! It's very nostalgic to me. Lot more mild than a chai, with a hint of citrus. Needs a little milk to soften the ceylon. A good tea base for blends as well.
