★★★★★

A lovely morning cup for a black tea with great berry flavors. They all work together beautifully - definitely recommend this one.

Fantastic tea—this is one of my holy grail teas that I always find myself reaching for. This is great for A cup first thing in the morning.

Nice berry flavored tea, can’t identify individual berry flavors but they work nice in combination and great fruity smell. Good cup of tea.

★★★★☆

Nice little brew! Smells like a frosty berry patch and brews up to lovely cup of black tea with prominent berry flavors but not overwhelming or artificial.

★★★★★

I love fruit flavored teas, and this did not disappoint. The black tea was not bitter and the mixed berries were dancing on my tongue

★★★☆☆

Good but the berries taste artificial and not as real as some of the other fruit teas Adagio has. Might be better iced or with sweetener.

★★★☆☆

I do get a blueberry, blackberry and raspberry thing going on. None are dominant. The finish is ok if not a bit medical. Not Adagio's worst black tea but not my favorite either.

It's very, very pleasant! It's perfect for morning tea with cookies. I definitely would recommend it.

A great berry-flavored tea. It's full of flavor and tang, which I absolutely love. Mine didn't taste artificial like some others have noted, so it's flavor may vary based on the batch.

★★★★★

Yay I love this one, it's so fruity and nice! I can't really decipher any individual specific types of berry in this, it's just a melange of flavors and that's a-okay!

I don't typically like berry teas but this is a fave of mine.

I was honestly hoping for a little more when I purchased this, but overall it's a pretty solid blend if you work with it a little bit. I learned that I had to be extra careful about how long I steeped it to avoid a slight bitter flavor, and that a little bit of sweetener (I tried several, so dealer's choice!) really helps bring out the berry flavor. If you're expecting it to be berry-sweet, you might be a little disappointed. But if you're looking for something subtle, this is pretty good!

★★★★★

Earthy and berries this is a nice blend both iced and hot.

I really wanted more flavor from this tea and wound up using far too much tea to get the flavor i wanted

★★★★☆

Testy black tea with a touch of fruity flavor. Similar to currant tea and blackberry tea though the last one is stronger.

★★★★★

Very sweet flavor profile. I enjoyed this, definitely would recommend for a fruity flavor preference.

Did not find anything special with this tea. I was expecting more berries

★★★☆☆

I thought I would like this one but it ended up tasting more artificial than I would have liked. I ended up mixing it with Cream tea and that helped tone down the flavor. This will not be in my regular rotation.

★★★★★

This is a nice flavored tea. Can taste the raspberry notes well. There is a hint of strawberry noted, but the blend brings the total berry flavor forward. Smooth. A winner for sure.

★★★☆☆

I always appreciate a fruity tea that isn't overly fruity, and this one does a nice job of finding a balance between sweet and sour. I would say the raspberry flavor is much stronger than anything else, though, so the taste isn't particularly remarkable. I'll certainly drink the rest of it, but it's not one of my faves.

★★★★★

Very fruity, but not in an herbal tea way. I love fruity black teas. Lots of flavor in this one.

★★★★★

Not my usual choice (I lean towards the chocolate flavors), but I do enjoy this - it has a bright berry flavor that may be even better iced.

I was so excited to try the Black Forest Berries blend. It’s so good. Not overly berry in flavor, but has an essence of berry taste in the background. An inviting smell. Smooth. Slightly sweet. I love this tea!

First, I must say, upon opening the package of Forest Berries, I was sad to find that mine didn't have any berry pieces. It had plenty of black tea and had some raspberry leaf pieces, but no bits of berries like what they show in the photo online. Anyway, to compensate, I brewed mine with some mango, orange peels, valerian, and fruit tisanes honey. It's good! It had a soft taste to it, which is just what I needed after a long day of work. I would definitely recommend this tea! I would also like to suggest berry pieces in the tea!!

Taste just like a brisk winter morning! I love the robust flavor of this tea, it wakes up my senses on a cold day.

★★★★★

Nice mix of strawberries and raspberries in this tea. Perfect with a little bit of Splenda and milk. Definitely a keeper!

★★★★★

Like walking through a sun dappled forest berry patch. Very good with honey and lemon. I also throw in a few freeze dried berries!

Really bright and fruity flavor. My roommate enjoyed this

Fun fruity flavors in my mouth. It reminds me of lingonberries and currants.

This tea is a little bite-y for me by itself, but it works wonders in blends. I like going half and half on this with one of the nutty teas like hazelnut or chestnut. It also goes great with Tiger's Eye

★★★★★

Such a strong berry smell, which mellows out in the tea, but thankfully doesn't disappear! I think it's right where it needs to be in flavor. I steep for a long time to get an outrageously full, just-barely-shy-of-turning-bitter flavor that I actually prefer and this one can hit that every time.

★★★★★

Very good! Perfect for a holiday gift during this season! @adagioteas

★★★☆☆

Mild berry flavor compared to other flavored black teas. I highly recommend brewing in water a bit below boiling or the bitterness becomes a bit much.

I love the flavor of this tea although I can't tell if it tastes like a forest berry because I have never heard of it. Nevertheless this I a delightful tea.

★★★★★

Very heavy on the berry flavor with the tea flavor barely in the background @adagioteas

★★★★☆

Before brewing the tea smells like strawberry flavored candy. Typically I brew my tea strong and just leave the tea bag in until it’s cool enough to drink but for this I tried to follow the time directions for this one and brewed for only 4 minutes. I think that helped with the bitterness. I tasted more of the fruit.

★★★★☆

Dry tea smells like generic berries, although there are no actual berries in the CommuniTea packet, just some raspberry leaves with the black tea. Once brewed, the resulting cup is a medium brown with the same berry scent. When hot, slight bitterness from the raspberry leaves are detected. When warm, the berry flavors are more noticeable before the raspberry leaf bitterness sets in the finish. The berries were nice, but the bitterness from the raspberry leaf and possibly the Ceylon were distracting. Brewed at 200 for 3 minutes.

Since I love black tea and berry flavors one would think this should be my cuppa. How disappointing that this tasted like incredibly bitter cough syrup despite lowered water temperature and added sweetener. The scent was an artificial potpourri, like several Yankee candles in one, and the flavoring was of no known berry on this earth. Sorry to report this went down the drain after a few sips.

I'm not so fond of the earthy, almost savory notes this blend has. It was a bit bitter as well, moreso than I enjoy, but very high quality and great for someone who enjoys a more complicated cup.

Yum! I very much like this tea! I've never had it alone before only in Fandom mixes but it's great on its own! Liked it both hot and cold brewed 3 mins at 190 absolutely perfect!

This is the definition of unnecessarily astringent tea. Even when steeped shy of boiling at 212°F, it's virtually undrinkable.

Really enjoyed this from the Communitea box for September. The Ceylon wasn't overly bitter and was complimented by bright berry scent and taste. The smell was lovely and fruity--might make a nice iced tea for a warm afternoon, too. <3

★★★★☆

This has a general berry flavor, not really a specific type of berry. It also has a hint of a flavor that I would imagine evergreen to taste like (because that's how evergreen smells to me). I prefer it cold and it's good with or without sweetener. It's not a favorite but it's enjoyable.

Today's CommuniTea blend is forest berries, made with black tea, forest berries flavor, raspberry leaves, raspberries and strawberries. To me, it smelled fruitier than it tasted, both in the packet and brewed, but it still tasted good. It could possibly have used a bit of sugar but it worked without, particularly as it cooled a bit. 12 ounces of 200 degree water for three minutes.

For me even though berry teas often smell great, they often come across tasting rather one note. The flavors blend together. It's an okay 'berry' black tea, but there's not much character after that. Better as a supporting tea in blends.

I have had this tea in blends but this is the first time to try on its own as part of CommuniTea. Many reviewers mention an artificial berry flavor and I can totally understand where they are coming from as this tea does not taste like any berry I have ever tried.
To me, this tea tastes like it is filled with berries that would grow in a magical forest where unicorns romp and fairies dance. Doesn't taste like anything natural on earth but I am ok with that and enjoy this sweet, oddly quirky tea for what it is.
A bit of a warning though, the rasberry leaves can turn this brew bitter fast and there is not enough sugar or magical berry to fix that troll stomping through the forest so be wary with brew temp and time.
