Fresh currant tea is a lovely change what with its odd flavor, and much more pleasing than what you get in a store bought tea bag.
A classic combination. Smooth, deeply fruity currant flavor (similar to raisin) with bright Ceylon tea.

<-checking bag again to make certain I've the right one...Yep this is an odd one, strong chocolate aroma, agreed in household, and not fruity...tastes ok but definitely not what I was going for.
This tea was alright, just not to my taste. But that doesn't mean that it won't be a great tea for you!
Not good, not bad, not fresh, not fruity. I will probably never drink this again.
I really enjoyed this! It has a nice fruit flavor (a little raisin-y) without being overly sweet.
Really nice taste! Beats the raspberry, blueberry, and blackberry teas by a mile. I've never actually eaten a currant, though, so I don't know if it's the actual flavor. But it tastes and smells great!
Tea is pretty good. Didn't smell much like currant, but it tasted better than it smelled.
I've decided I'm not a fruity tea person. This has wonderful flavor but it's just not for me.
A friend recommended this one to me. The smell is amazing, and the flavor is quite good. I drink it with a little honey. A good alternative to hibiscus when I'm in the mood for a bitter breakfast tea.
Just like the Twinings Tea, but a lot better! Delicious!
Great tea. Bought this for a friend and he loves it!
This is a good standard tea. There is nothing amazing about it, as other currants I have had. But this is certainly not a bad tea, in any sense.
Such a great tea! Smooth flavor and not harsh at all when brewed for about 3 minutes or so. I had a very similar tea at a Russian restaurant in Chicago. Both were excellent!
Currant is a great compliment to the tea leaves as it doesn't try to compete with, or overpower the tea itself. I'm not a big fan of the black tea, however, so I feel the need to add too much sugar.
This tea almost has a chocolaty aroma. It is great!
Not extremely fruity, but deep and layered enough to be very interesting, may try blending with other flavors to see how the flavors change. Will purchase again, unexpectedly good~
I love this tea. The currant fruit is so refreshing. And, yes, I did make it iced. Delish!
Some fruit teas I don't like because they're too strong, but this has the perfect amount of currant bite to it.
I did not like the ceylon very much in this mix (I tend to prefer assam over ceylon).
I didn't think that I was going to like this one as much as I do. I threw it in my order on a whim and now it is one of my favorites!
I love black currant anything and this tea is no exception. I am really pleased!
I enjoyed this tea. With a scone you will feel like your in the UK.
I am searching for a replacement for Special Teas Black Currant Tea. This was not it, sadly. There was no real fruit in the tea. There was Currant flavor added. It tasted fake-ey to me.
Lovely clean flavor. Perfect for morning or afternoon
I did enjoy this tea, although I would have preferred that the currant flavor was a bit stronger/more pronounced.
This tea was sadly subpar compared to other currant teas I've had before. In both the aroma and the taste, the currant flavoring just seems somehow artificial and overdone. It sort of made me think of what might happen if Kool-Aid tried to make tea.
I have always been a fan of currant tea, and this blend allows me to enjoy it whenever I desire, no silly tea-bags!
This is a wonderful, smooth tasting tea. I do a lot of blending with my teas, but this one is awesome all on its own. I do add a touch of honey at times, but I tend to do that with almost all of my teas. This one is now at the top of my list of favorites.
Nice and mellow cup of tea. The currant flavor is very pleasant and easy to drink. Good either iced or hot.
light currant taste. I like to mix it with blueberry!
not very flavorful, has somewhat of a burnt taste glad I only bought the sample pack
I enjoyed this tea. The fruitiness was not overwhelming or too sweet. I ordered a sample and will be ordering more.
It was good for me during the midday at work. Simple but enjoyable.
When I was growing up, we had a currant bush in the yard, so I bought this for nostalgia's sake. Those berries were never so good. I bought a pound next.
Not bad. Tastes strongly of raisins, if you like them.
Mild currant flavor
A full-bodied black tea with a delicious, rounded currant/raspberry flavor.
I grew up drinking blackberry tea, and this is a nice was to mix things up. I can't say it's particularly complex, but it's yummy and the fruitiness isn't overwhelming.
This is a great tea. Does get bitter if brewed too strong.
Gift for my sister. She loved it. Great flavor if you like currant.
Love the subtle but delicious flavors of this black tea
great flavor - taste is more prevalent than the smell. I would buy this again.
This tea is wonderful cold or hot. I was happily surprised by its flavor.
Pretty good, nice, currant flavor, I liked it a lot.
I love currant tea. This is an especially nice one.
I really like this sweet black tea. In my opinion, it doesn't taste like fresh or dried currants, which are sour. Instead, I was pleasantly surprised by the sweet and delicate flavor. I will re-order this one! :)
Great flavor with a nice refreshing taste. This tea would be awesome iced.
This tea is lightly sweet with a hint of berry. Great aroma, and very pleasant to drink.
The tea is great, but I'd prefer just a bit more currant flavor. Seems only get a hint of it in the after taste. Though, it does smelling amazing.
Good flavor for a currant tea, but I prefer more sweet fruit types.
