Very well balanced black tea that reminds me of berry picking with my family
Of the flavored teas I have tried, this one is one of the winners. The currant really stands out against the black tea.

I like this tea, because I love black currant. It smells strongly of curant in the bag and maintains a currant flavor in the cup. Although it s not one of my top 5, I will have it one in a while to have some variation in my tea.

New favorite fruity black tea. It's sharp and sweet, reminding me of both raspberries and cranberries (likely because I am unfamiliar with the taste of currants on their own). Will purchase again.

Sweet, jammy, and delicious! Great with a little bit of cream or milk, but just like the other berry teas I've tried from Adagio it is easily overwhelmed by too many additions. So just enjoy it as-is!
The flavor was okay not my favorite though. But great to drink on those chilly days.
This smells and tastes distinctly of currants, which might be off-putting to people who don t share their grandparent s taste in fruits. If you re not one of those people, this is a good pick.

Very mild currant taste. More of a black tea taste with a hint of current. Very yummy!
Currant smells amazing, and it tastes wonderful. Not astringent at all. I've had it hot, with and without a splash of vanilla soy milk, and last week, I tried it iced. Berry flavors are always lovely iced, and this one is no exception. The flavor stays on your tongue for a while, but not cloying. I will have to get more.

I expected this to be spicy like chai (I think I was under the impression that currant was a spice of some kind but it is, in fact, a fruit! The more you know!) but it was very sweet and I was pleasantly surprised. It has a flowery/fruity flavour that is very mild and delicious. I would recommend this for anyone who doesn't like a 'sweet overload' in their teas.

I love the Harney and Sons version of this tea, so I assumed I would like Adagio's version either as much or better. I was wrong. This tea lacked the freshness and flavor I was expecting.
This is a tasty flavored black tea, but it's very astringent and makes my tongue feel intensely prickly. Sometimes I'm in the mood for it, sometimes not. Overall, I wouldn't get it again.
Many years ago I tried a currant tea and loved it but could never find it again anywhere. Years after that (I know, I guess I'm getting old) I found this wonderful company and their currant tea. Love at first sip, both for this tea and this company.

Currant smells like the wonderfully unique berry flavor that it is. It's in between sweet and tart in this black tea, and isn't cloying nor artificially flavored, nor is it rough and tangy enough to curl the tongue. It's slightly dry after drinking. We brewed this iced first overnight, and it tastes great! This would be the tea to turn to if you're tired of the usual big berry flavors (raspberry, strawberry, blueberry) but still want something berry-ful. I couldn't remember what currant tastes like since it doesn't seem to be commonly available where I live, and didn't have much hopes for it since I picked it up on a whim. I'm really glad I did! I love it. Trying it warm will also be a treat.
Edit: I've knocked it to 'okay'; it's a very nice berry flavor but nothing particularly endears me to it aside from that it's not blue- or- straw-berry. For me this is a 'once in a while sampler'.

One of my favorite teas is called 'Black Currant' I was hoping this tea would be similar, but it smelled and tasted too much like potpourri.
Nice and fruity, well balanced. This is one of my husband's favorite blends.
I didn't know what to expect, but this is a really nice tea. Fruity; good with milk. Folks who are not health freaks like me should probably add a little sugar.
The taste was not as strong as I was expecting it to be but I still is still good.
