Classic Ceylon tea touched with the flavor of fresh cream. Sweet and warm, pleasantly brisk, delicately creamy.

Cream tea was good. I enjoyed the aroma as well as the tea. It's a great afternoon tea.

★★★★★

I have ordered more than once and like it a lot, nice flavor

★★★☆☆

This one is good, but not a standout. Would be better as part of a blend, but not as a standalone tea. (195/3min)

Lovely addition to other black teas, but a bit weak on flavor.

★★★★★

I love this tea. I use this to add to other teas to give it a little extra something special.

Wonderful, simple black tea. Great by itself, but also blends perfectly with others!

★★★★☆

Nice with some sugar; good flavor! It was a nice change from a regular black tea!

A great option for those who like a little sweet creaminess in their tea without any additions. I have gotten 2 flavorful steeps from this one. This one is an afternoon treat!

I've used this tea as a mixer for a sample flavor I tried, and it worked out nicely.

So excited to find this tea.. My husband loves almond cream tea and the place we ordered locally went out of business. I was able to get this and pair it with almond to make my own almond cream tea for him. He loves it.. THANK YOU for make him smile

★★★★★

Such a wonderful smell to this tea and the taste is lovely as well.

★★★★★

I frequently add this to many of my teas, especially if I don’t have milk.

This stuff is amazing! It really does taste like black tea with a dash of cream! I added sugar to mine, but it's still pretty great without it.

I love to keep this one on hand for blending. It's good with my favorite - Irish Breakfast.

★★★☆☆

This is much better than when I tried it years ago. The first time I tasted it it was like cheap canned frosting mixed with bitter black tea. Now it's sweet and almost vanilla-like, but not quite. Much like the vanilla tea I prefer to use it in blends rather than drinking it straight.

★★★★★

I love cream!!! This is sweet and yummy. I add a little almond milk to make it even creamier!

★★★★★

Nice, flavorful and smooth blend without containing actual cream. I like to add this to other teas, especially Adagio's Butterscotch flavored one.

★★★★★

This flavor is wonderful, because it really does add the flavor of cream without worrying about dairy or extra calories.

UPDATE: still love it, and it’s probably been more than 10 years since the first time I had it.

This is a perfect tea to add to another tea. I like to add it with Chai to tone down the spices yet still have that spice!

Today's CommuniTea packet was cream, which is made of black tea with creme flavor, which has no dairy or milk products. Like vanilla tea, cream appears in many blends, where it adds a richness and smooth mouthfeel. On it's own, there was a surprising whiff of chocolate in the packet, that was still evident when brewed. Overall it was nice, but I'll probably continue to enjoy it primarily in blends. Steeped in 12 ounces of 200 degree water for three minutes.

I like this tea in blends but don’t really care for it on its own. The aroma when opening is misleading. You do not get that carried through in the flavor. This was more of a plain black tea with a bite at the end of the sip thanks to the Ceylon. 195° for 2 minutes.

Always excited to taste teas that are staples in many blends but was honestly expecting ho hum from a cream tea. Should really stop doubting the magic Adagio can make. This tea was an enjoyable cuppa. The cream flavor rounding out the tea with vanilla and a touch of something smooth I can't quite describe but to say I liked it. This may not make it to the top of my rotation, but I could easily see myself grabbing this to sip while relaxing with a good book.

My first time trying this tea as a stand alone tea. I have loved teas that have this used in its blend. On its own it's okay and enjoyable but not outstanding as it has been in blends. May buy some just to add to other teas.

This is a familiar taste in many blends, but it’s interesting to get to try it on its own. I was pleasantly surprised! This tends to be a good background player, so I wasn’t expecting this to be so flavorful on its own.

Cream is my favorite of Adagio's dessert teas. It's sweet, smooth, deep, and creamy, vanilla-prominent and delicious even without cream or sugar. Brew at 212 if you want an astringent depth, and at 200-205 for a sweeter, creamier experience.

Sweet smooth sip. It is nice to try it by itself instead of in a blend. Delicious.

This is a perfect breakfast tea . It is a straight Ceylon black tea with just the right amount of natural cream flavor. The cream seems to smooth the usual astringency of the Ceylon.! It also gives a clean finish. This would be great in a decaffinated version.

The cream flavor in this tea adds the perfect amount of sweet smoothness to soften the astringency of the black tea. I do find that adding a splash of milk on top only enhances the cream flavor. I really enjoy this tea included in custom blends, but it is nice on its own as well.

I love this tea in blends and have used it in several of mine. Then again, I use Vanilla in a lot of my blends, too, but when I try to drink it alone it tastes like drinking a candle and I decidedly do not love it. So I wasn't sure how I'd feel about drinking this one by itself.

As it turns out, I didn't care for it plain *at all*, but when I added sugar and just a splash of milk to make the cream flavor taste less artificial, I ended up really, really liking it a lot. When it's not just cream-like but actually sweet and creamy, it's absolutely delicious. It's less astringent than just adding milk and sugar to a plain black tea like a breakfast tea. I also think it would lend itself well to a float!

An aroma of sweet cream rose up out of today's packet. A 3 minute steep at 212°F created a chestnut brown tea.

Sweet cream flavor is infused fully into this Ceylon tea, giving each sip a smooth flavor. While Ceylon brings it's strong and brisk flavors, the cream manages to round off any edges and makes it so smooth it's almost self-drinking. A moderate astringency is detectable on the finish.

Adding some half & half cream to this tea further enhanced the cream flavor. Quite the buttery smooth cream tea!

If you're one to put cream in tea, this one will save you a step. If you still decide to add some, it just makes it even creamier. Delish!

I’m sampling today with the CommuniTEA and I’m shocked at myself for not having written a review for this tea already, as I’ve ordered it many times in the past. This tea is wonderful on its own, but it’s best in blends. It can get bitter easily so I recommend a lower temperature steep with a shorter brew time for a smooth, creamy cup.

I like this tea in blends (eg with fruity teas), to give it a more vanilla-ish flavour, but by itself the flavour's a bit too artificial for me (tastes a bit like caramel)

I don't know if I like this or not. I may have overdone the sugar, or is this sweet on its own?

Previous to this chance to try this flavored black tea through the CommuniTEA, I have only had it in blends. I have found, generally, that in small amounts it seems to add a nice smoothing touch to blends and can help meld flavors together. I have also found, I thought, that it can be easily overdone. Boy, was I surprised by the chance to try this tea by itself today. The aroma of the dry leaves called to mind vanilla and maybe even a touch of mint. Once brewed, that hint of vanilla cream continued in the taste of the tea. To my surprise, I found myself enjoying the cup more than I expected. Yes, there is a subtle flavor to this tea, and to be fair, it's not one that I would care to drink alone on a regular basis, but the creme flavoring does bring a nice velvety smoothness to the black tea, and that quality can be a lovely touch in blends. (4-5 minutes @ 212F)

This tea was just okay for me. I steeped it at 180 for 3 minutes. The scent is really lovely. I do like it better as a cold tea rather than a hot one if it's by itself, but as part of a blend it would be a nice accent. I agree with another reviewer that said it was a little boring by itself. 6/10

I don't taste any cream in this at all. The black tea itself is very good, and you can smell the cream when you open the package, but once brewed, nothing, just plain black tea. I brewed it for a while, maybe 15 minutes (lost track of time...) so I'll try for a shorter time next time. Maybe with the longer brewing time, the black tea overpowered the cream...

update: I tried this a couple of times, and it depends on how long you brew the tea. Brewed a little too long and the cream flavor is gone. I added a star after having it a couple of times, it's good. But you have to be very careful about brew time. Otherwise it's slightly creamy and slightly sweet.

Update: This is actually one of my favorite Adagio black teas! I got another sample, and brewed it differently each time until I got the cream with no bitterness, and it's delicious! It have a big bag of this at home. Great creamy tea on its own (if brewed properly!), and great mixed with other flavors for a cream addition. Just make sure to not overbrew, and not brew this too strong, or the cream flavor gets lost and its bitter. A great flavored tea!

So good! Such a great tea. Nice creamy aromas. Steeped slightly lower than 200 for three min to avoid bitterness.

Very, very smooth and creamy. Rich and heavy in the mouth. The strong flavor of the cream masks the flavor and astringency of the black tea (and I want to taste the black tea!) so for me it gets a little boring to drink a whole cup of this. However this tea is great in blends. So plain - no, but in blends - yes. (3 min @ 200)

I was wondering what this tea tasted like on it's own. I never put cream in my tea and was hesitant to taste any teas with it in a blend. Well I had been missing out on something really good. Lots of blends have added this but today is my first on it's own. I love black tea and the addition of the cream flavoring added a nice touch. I really enjoyed this but never would have tried it on it's own without the CommuniTea.

I was pretty happy with this tea as a black tea. I added cream and sugar to brighten the flavors which I do on most blacks anyway. This one had good flavor and I enjoy it. It is one tea that is great in blends too.

Good, solid tea, for sipping black. Amazing with adding frothed vanilla creamer. Sweet fragrance of leaves, knew when I opened the bag it was going to be a good one!
