I was pleasantly surprised by this tea! I got it in the CommuniTea pack, and after brewing it, added a splash of soya milk. The tea was sweet enough on its own, it tasted like a tea with milk and sugar even though I never added sugar. A nice pleasant surprise!

I wasn't sure what to expect from this tea going in. It was a pleasant surprise when I sipped it. It reminded me of marshmallows. I will be getting this tea again at some point.

Slightly astringent and bitter when hot. Honey added to help the cream flavors come out of hiding and to help decrease the bitterness. This tea is better after it cools a bit. Creamy flavors come forward and blend so well with the subtle chocolate notes of the black tea. Cream tea is better in a blend though. I sometimes add it to a second steep of something to give the flavor a boost. Today I added HB vanilla to the second steep of cream. It is delicious with a bit of honey. Steeped 195º for 3 mins. Cheers!

Cream - the name sounds interesting - what will it be like? This was a smooth tea with a hint of a creamy texture. Since I am not an adder of items to my tea, it was probably not one of my personal favorites. However for those who like milk/cream in their tea, this would likely be a very good base to start with.
The tea is not bad, just not the top of my personal flavor list. I would drink again, but not likely rush out and buy a bag.

This is a good tea but I didn’t get as much vanilla flavor as I had thought I would. I typically like to drink my tea unadulterated - no cream, no sugar - but I should try it again another time with a tad of sugar. The black tea was a nice brew. It wasn’t too strong for me. The flavor was nice and smooth.

a good, simple tea. a little too bland for me on its own, but it would hold up better mixed with another tea

This is a favorite for blending for a reason, but it stands up well on its own - a lovely Ceylon base with a warm, tasty cream flavor - no dairy needed!

This was a nice flavoured black tea, once I added some soymilk. That being said, I would prefer to take a favourite, unflavoured black tea and add my own cream.

A blend with a nice calming flavor. It is good by itself or as a tea latte.

Sweet, creamy notes with a vanilla-like finish rise from a strong black tea to greet the nose this morning, the flavor soothing the sharper notes to help rein them in.
This tea is buttery smooth, moreso than most black teas I've sipped, and while it's nice on its own, I strongly believe that it performs best in a blend - fruit teas in particular excel alongside it.

I've had this tea in several blends, but never on its own. I'm definitely a fan of it flying solo.

I love cream, and this just didn’t match my expectations. I steeped at a lower temp and still had some bitterness. I like this flavor more in blends.

I love dessert teas, and this one is no exception. It’s smooth and creamy and great with a splash of milk.

This is a fine black tea, and I did detect some cream notes. Even adding a little cream and sugar, this tea is probably best as part of a blend rather than on its own.

I always add milk to black teas, so it was hard to leave it out, but I wanted to try this one on its own. Steeped at 212 for 3 minutes, this tea had some creaminess but tasted bitter to me. Perhaps it needed a lower temperature? I never add sugar to teas, but I did for this one after reading reviews that suggested it. The sugar takes off the bitter edge and lets the cream flavor shine through. With the sugar it's a nice enough tea, but not one I'd order on it's own, though it does seem that it would be good in blends.

A fine black tea with a mild cream flavor. I think it would taste a bit better with milk or cream added, but on it own I found it a bit lackluster. 3 mins at 200°F.

I must agree, this cream flavoring is better as a blend than as a stand-alone. All in all, however, a good black tea, smoothed out a bit. Update...still feel the same about this tea. Honey makes it much better.

Cream flavor is one of my favorite additions to tea. I brewed at 195F for 3min, and any faint bitterness I get from the black tea is quickly covered by the cream. I don't like adding sugar or cream to my tea, so this tea's flavor gets me the creamy flavor without having to add anything after brewing.

This tasted more like vanilla to me than the actual vanilla tea I tried yesterday.

I enjoy this tea by itself or in blends. I’m halfway through a second pouch now and like to brew 2 ½ tsp in a 16 oz. mug for 3 min. at 195*F. The dark tea leaves brew into a cream scented amber colored liquor. And with careful brewing there's no bitterness just some pleasant astringency. Chilled, this tea tastes like a delicious cream soda, so yummy! This one remains a favorite, I love it for its comforting creamy goodness balanced nicely with bright Ceylon!

Surprisingly good tea. That was unexpected, not being a cream-loving person. I enjoyed the tea and may decide to get more.

This is a really delicious tea with a teaspoon of sugar added to the cup. I get to enjoy the taste of cream without adding it to my tea.

I love this tea. Add some honey, or other fave sweetener and somehow it just calms me down. I have even added a teaspoon or two to other teas that tasted too bitter or just plain yuck. Not saying it can work miracles, however it has salvaged a couple items so they weren’t total losses.

So far my favorite black tea, smooth and mildly sweet. Perfect in the morning or for an afternoon pick me up.

Wonderful creamy taste and not synthetic at all. I blend this with strawberry or peach tea and pour over ice for a dessert tea. Delicious. With a little sugar this is fantastic. Absolutely smells divine and is very smooth.
★★★★★
This is so good! I usually like a splash of milk in hot black tea but this hardly needs it. It is excellent iced as well.

Exactly as the name implies. Enjoyable cup of tea.

This tea is smooth and lovely to drink on a cool day. I use cream instead of milk and 1 spoonful of sugar. The cream makes it even smoother and enhances the taste of vanilla. I steep it for 3 minutes for the strength that I prefer. When it is steeped for 5 minutes, there is a hint of bitterness to the tea.

FIRST STEEPING: A lovely creamy aroma emanated from the tea leaves. For the initial cup, I steeped the leaves at 200°F for 3 minutes.
After steeping, the hot tea smelled like black tea and creme. My initial impression upon tasting this tea was of a creamy flavour with a slight note of astrigency. This tea would probably be quite nice with some vanilla almond milk.
SECOND STEEPING: For the second cup, I steeped the tea leaves at 190°F for 3 minutes. I found the second cup to be less astringent, although I would still like to try this next time with some vanilla almond milk. @adagioteas

Creamy and delicious, the best flavor comparison I can do is the creme flavor on the tiger pop or White Rabbit candy. This blend is malty and creamy, a perfect start to any day or added to another blend.

My favorite go-to cup of tea for breakfast and sweets. The aroma is so rich and the cream flavor makes the cup so satisfying, Without adding sugar and cream.

Not my favorite but definitely worth a sample try. I need to add it to some of my other teas and see what the outcome is...maybe the almond oolong.

This is an excellent black tea - I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because for some reason I'm really not getting the 'cream' flavor. I think that's an unpopular sentiment given the other reviews so it's likely just something I'm missing. It is still a very good black tea!

I really like the flavor and creaminess of this tea. I like it as is but also make my own custom teas by combining it with Tiger's Eye or Earl Grey for another taste! It is a very good tea any time of day! We have the loose tea and the tea bags in this one!

This is one of my very favorite Adagio teas. It is excellent on its own, even better with cream and sugar, and I frequently blend it with other teas to add that creamy flavor. I mix it half-and-half with peach tea and call it “peaches and cream”. It’s the only tea I’ve ever bought a giant bag of!

I first tried this in the black tea sampler box; this time I bought myself a whole bag. The scent is like thick vanilla cream! I find the flavor doesn't truly come out until you add a little milk (I use almond). Without milk it's still good, but doesn't seem different enough to unflavored black tea (which is fine, I love adding milk!)
