My mother (who I bought this for) was somewhat disappointed by this tea. It seemed to have too light of a coconut flavor, so that it tasted mostly like a generic black tea.

Superb! Not a hint of fakeness and the 'nutty' part of 'coconut' is displayed very pleasingly. Very flavorful.
It's warm, rich and sweet. Once my roommate steeped it for 15 minutes too long and the nutty sweetness of the coconut salvaged what would have otherwise a cup that was far too bitter to drink. I wouldn't recommend a 15 minute steeping time though, because it's delectable when you do it right!
I wanted to try this tea because of it's high reviews and my love of coconut. The first time I tried it, I completely hated it and dumped the whole pot out. I really should have known when ordering that I would not like it because I have a taste for earthy teas and this is just too sweet. I actually just dumped out the whole tin of it :(. Sad waste of my money but if you like overwhelming flavors then maybe you will like it.
This is my favorite afternoon tea when I need something sweet. The tea brews up strong, and I can normally get 2 cups from one tea bag.. or one REALLY large cup of tea...
I got this as a sample with my first tea purchase and I will definitely be getting it again. The coconut smells almost overwhelming before it's brewed, but once brewed is blended very nicely with the excellent black tea base. I had it with a little bit of sugar and it was simply delightful.
The smell of this blend is delicious! I drank my cup with cream and sugar crystals. The taste was not overpowering, but subtle and enjoyable. No bitter aftertaste. recommended!

This tea is so good! I usually add some powdered non-dairy creamer to it, but it's also great without.
I enjoy this one. I wish there was more depth to the flavor. It is nicely coconut, however I would have liked to have an additional flavor with it. I have mixed it with the caramel tea and that is quite good.

This is a good, but not excellent tea. The tea's flavor seemed a bit off when I drank it straight, but I tried it again with a little sugar and milk and found it was a lot better the second time around with the sugar and milk added.

I'm not big on flavored teas, but I had to give coconut a try. I was pleasantly surprised that the coconut was not overwhelming. The tea is dark, rich, and sensual. Perfect evening indulgence.
This tea smells sooooo good out of the bag. The coconut flavor is quite mild, though. I love this with milk or blending it with something with chocolate.

Pretty good, but as far as coconut teas go, the pouchong's still my favorite. Seemed to fare well enough for a second steep, retaining a subtle coconut flavor. Likely good for blending, though.

I love coconut and this didn't disappoint me. It's sweet in a way that makes me think it could even be a dessert tea with sugar and a heavier cream than I used, although for every day drinking it does need some milk or sugar to give it a boost. Regardless I thought it was good, not too much of either coconut or tea flavor.
The coconut flavor in this tea certainly comes through, though can tend toward a slightly artificial taste. I think the tea is well balanced overall and worthy of at least the sampler purchase.
Unimpressed. I adore coconut, but I just can't get past the odd taste of this tea. Milk doesn't help, sugar doesn't help, honey doesn't help. Perhaps melting a section of Mounds bar would, but that kind of defeats the purpose.
bout what you expect. delicious black with some buttery tones of coconut. The smell of the coconut is not very strong in the bag, but you can see slivers of coconut meat in with the tea. The nuttiest flavor comes at the end of your sip of tea, a wave of rich and sweet coconut.
This tea smells a bit better than it tastes, but the taste is still enjoyable. It isn't my favorite black tea, but I will definitely drink it again.
This tea is amazing. It smells just like a Mounds bar and tastes fantastic on it's own, no sweeteners needed. So far my favorite tea.
This is by far my favorite tea that I've tried from Adagio! The coconut taste is not overwhelming or artificial tasting, just very warm and nutty. perfect anytime tea in my opinion.

This is one of my favorite Adagio teas. It has a pretty good coconut flavour, just be careful and don't let it steep for too long.

This tea smells heavenly! I didn't find the coconut flavor too strong, which was fantastic. It's a very lovely tea. I prefer mine with a splash of milk.
As much as I like coconut, I found that I did not like this tea a great deal. It had an odd, artificial taste to me when I drank it straight. I found that adding a bit of cream to it helped, but it still is not a tea that I would find myself reaching for... unless I was out of my other Adagio teas.

I was really disappointed with this. I'm still searching for my holy grail coconut tea. No matter how little/long it's steeped it turns out bitter in a bad way. It actually does OK in blends though. The coconut and assam melody was interesting, though still a bit bitter. Probably won't repurchase, thankfully it was a sample. You pretty much need to put milk and sugar in this to get rid of the strange aftertaste.
I like to mix this with the cream tea to get a coconut cream tea! I add cream and sugar and it is tasty.
I thought I was going to love this tea. coconut is a favorite flavor of mine. Unfortunately I found this tea to have an odd burnt sort of taste that doesn't say coconut to me at all. It is a very pronounced taste. I can drink this tea in a pinch, but it certainly isn't my first choice.
