I didn't find the coconut flavor to be strong enough. I now mix this with the vanilla tea to get rid of it a bit faster.
Creamy texture of fresh coconut flavor with the balanced brightness of Ceylon. Perfectly sweet and very well-blended.

This tea is delightfully warm and comforting and will transport you to the tropics.
Smells like an Almond Joy when you first open the bag, but I promise it tastes like pure coconut. It's so good that I don't even put milk in it like I do with most teas!
This is good, but not amazing... it definitely needs cream and sugar. I also feel like I had to add a lot more tea than called for for a flavorful cup of tea... with the recommended amount, it was very watery.
I love this flavor and its scent, it really brings up my day!
It's creamy and nutty and lovely, but I agree with other reviewers who have said it's best as part of a blend with other black teas. The coconut flavour is pretty prominent, so a little goes a long way, unless you LOVE coconut above all other things in the known universe.
Smells great, tastes delicious! Makes a nice dessert tea.
Creamy coconutty goodness! Perfect with a little coconut milk!
I like really like coconut flavour of this tea. It also goes well with the chocolate or almond teas.
I'm drinking my first cup of this tea right now - it's amazing! I love coconut, and I love Ceylon black tea, and they are even better together. The coconut is almost just a smell/aftertaste, and adds some sweetness and a creamy texture to the tea. Love it.
Really good with some cream and sugar. Every soft flavor, but yummy.
Has a subtle coconut taste, smells great. Nothing mind blowing but it's a nice tea if you love coconut!
This is my first order from Adagio. I needed a loose tea for a Xmas present to my Mom and I've always wanted to try the tea from here. I used the free sample to get one for myself. I got the Coconut tea, because I LOVE coconut, and I figured this would be a good place to start. Wow, I'm hooked. I love the subtle after taste of coconut that just stays on your tongue for awhile. Very good first order and I'll be buying more soon!
Very smooth taste! I think this will become a staple.
Great tea! I would recommend using this as a flavor enhancer to other teas.
This Tea Is so tasty with a bit of milk and sugar. It smells great in the bag and in the mug. The tea is really fantastic to blend especially with the irish breakfast tea.
This tea is a great balance of flavors. I like that it has coconut flakes in it.
This mixes amazingly with fruit flavored teas. It smells amazing and tastes good iced.
I used to love Adagio, but recently it has gone downhill. I have rated this tea 'ok', but in reality, I still have not received my tea despite the fact that I should have gotten it days ago. I am not sure that I will order again, it just takes too long go get my tea, I'm sure I can find a more local way of obtaining my tea, just not sure it is worth the effort.
Definitely strong! Evens out with a touch of milk, and definitely good to blend with possibly some cream tea to round the taste off.
Wow this just smells amazing! Coconut also tastes great blended with one of the chocolately flavored teas
This was the first tea I tried from my first order, and I'm so glad!! With a little sugar, it tastes almost like an Almond Joy. Favorite tea.
First sample I tried, because it smelled the best. Made it iced, couldn't have been more delicious.
I love this coconut has a nice flavor dont have to try and figureout what your drinking from the smell to the taste its all coconut. This too in in my top 5.
This tea is absolutely wonderful lightly sweetened and with a bit of coconut milk added to it!
I wasn't a huge fan of this one. I thought I would be because I love coconut but it's just not good as a tea..
The combination of the coconut flavor and the black tea came out a little too floral for my taste.
The coconut flavor wasn't as strong as I was hoping. I feel like the Ceylon occludes the sweetness more than the Pouchong did.
The coconut aspect seems to be more of a scent than a flavor, so it's not my absolute favorite, but it's certainly delicious.
Light and great mixed with the cream tea they also sell.
I got this tea as a free sample, and I was not really expecting a lot from it. However, I was pleasantly surprised! The coconut flavor was not overpowering, and not artificial tasting.
I've had coconut pouchong, which as good! But I ran out, and couldn't find myself a decent cup of coconut tea. Soooo, I tried this tea and it was delicious! Warm and coconutty, a little sweetener makes it perfect. I would definitely recommend it.
I read a review of the candy apple tea where the reviewer said he mixed in some coconut and it tasted like apple pie, and I wanted to try that. The two blend deliciously together!
On the website they describe this tea as creamy and balanced. For me it was the exact opposite, it was extremely bitter and I didn't even let it brew that long. The flavor other than black tea flavor did NOT taste like coconut, it was a horrible flavor that not even sugar could repair. Overall I was extremely disappointed along with the rest of my family.
This tea has a nice strong coconut flavor. It goes very well with cream and sugar, and it's a nice tea to mix with other flavors. I would avoid using it as an iced tea.
I like this tea, but I prefer the unflavored black teas I have tried so far. The coconut smells odd to me mixed with the tea, and I prefer a nicer scent when sipping.
The first tea I've tried from Adagio since it came in my package as a sample. I love coconut to begin with and this tastes wonderful!
I usually love coconut tea as you can see by my order history, but this last order the tea just is not the same as all of the other orders of coconut tea, it taste like it has something besides coconut in it. I cannot even tell that it is suppose to be coconut. I do not like this shipment at all.
Smells great. Tastes a little off, sort of reminds me of coconut scented sun tan lotion, as in somewhat artificial. However, the flavor is more subtle than I expected. I like mixing this tea with other teas to give them a creamy, sweet flavor. Overall it's not bad, but it tastes a little bland by itself. I'll have to try it with milk, coconut milk ideally.
Maybe there wasn't enough tea in the infuser, but I am not getting a whole lot of coconut. The flavor is very subtle, with a little sugar it might taste mildly like an almond-joy sans the chocolate and almonds (lolwut you might say). Other than the coconut I'm picking up a little maltiness, which is obviously from the ceylon.
My infuser is from -anavaet-, the 32oz version. As it continues to steep the flavors aren't further developing, which adds to the probability that there isn't enough tea in there.
UPDATE (11/5/12): I just infused at a 1:1 ratio with the irish breakfast (as a total of one tablespoon). The coconut blends incredibly well with the earthy tones of the IB, and actually causes the coconut to feel more full-bodied.
This is a fairly standard black tea with a hint of coconut. The coconut flavors are certainly not overpowering, but could probably stand to be a bit stronger in the mix.
Our new favorite tea! Coconut is strong enough without overpowering.
For some reason this tastes a little fruity to me, though that's not a bad thing. Yummy coconut taste.
I love this flavor mixed with vanilla and mango black teas. Great flavor!!
Stupidly, stupidly delicious. I could definitely taste the coconut, but it wasn't sickening or overwhelming. It blended really nicely with the black tea base. I added a little milk to mine - it was perfect for an afternoon pick me up.
Too light by itself, a bit better with milk and amazing with french vanilla coffee creamer. Basically, the coconut needs something creamy.
light coconut flavor, but seems like it could be stronger
I loved this one. It smells great and the coconut flavor is just right - not too overpowering. I will order this one again!
As soon as I smelled it in the bag, I knew I was going to love this tea. It reminds me of a day at the beach.
I had this for the first time at a friend's house and put it on my 'must buy' list. It's just plain yummy!
