Coconut Customer Reviews

Creamy texture of fresh coconut flavor with the balanced brightness of Ceylon. Perfectly sweet and very well-blended.

Coconut is one of my favorite flavors. Sometimes coconut can come off too strong, and I worried that this tea might be too sweet for me, as it smells very coconut-y in the package. But I was pleasantly surprised! The coconut flavor in the cup is outstanding. Not too sweet, just right. I'll definitely be ordering a big bag of this one soon!

★★★★☆

A pretty good flavor combination. I would have personally preferred a little lighter on the coconut.

★★★★★

This is currently my favorite Adagio tea. It has a sweet, coconuty undertone that isn't overpowering but is definitely noticeable. It also smells amazing.

★★★★★

Can i say that i love this tea? some say it tastes artificial and i can see how you might get that but i don't really notice it all too much.

★★★☆☆

I did mix this with the Thai Chia as it is a bit too light for me but it does have a nice coconut flacor

★★★★★

LOVE this tea. Coconut is one of my favorite things in the world and every I drink this it makes everything a little better.

★★★★★

This tea is fantastic alone and added to other blends. I very much enjoy it.

★★★★★

Pretty bland - but it is what it is. Works well when mixed with other teas.

★★★★★

I really really love coconut tea, and this one is really great to blend with other teas containing coconut.

★★★★☆

It was a little too strong if you brew it longer than 3 minutes but otherwise, a wonderful taste!

★★★★★

I really liked this tea. It had enough of a coconut flavor to keep it interesting, and enough caffeine to keep me awake when I needed it to, even after several brewings. I always brewed it for a bit less than the time said to so it wouldn't be bitter. With sugar it's super yummy. :)

★★★★★

This tea not only smells delicious, but tastes wonderful! I drink it with a little bit of milk and sugar, and typically add about 1.5 tsp per cup because I like it to be a little stronger. A certain other tea company (that may or may not rhyme with nirvana) stopped carrying their coconut black and I was quite sad, but Adagio's blend is better! (Also their service gets thumbs up from me)

So yummy! Luvin the coconut flavor. Like to mix with Almond to make a almond joy tea.

★★★★★

I loved this mixed with the Cream black tea! Nice and smooth. Yum!!

I've been putting coconut on everything lately and this tea is just so perfectly, freshly coconutty that I set all my other goodies aside for the day and indulge in this. I'll make a batch of this, have one cup hot, and keep the rest in the fridge and have it iced the next day. It's super summery when iced.

★★★★★

I can't get enough of this tea. I like it plain and love it with honey and a splash of cream. My two year old son literally guzzles this tea.

★★★★★

Gorgeous! With a little bit of sugar and whole milk, this is like drinking a Bounty Bar (or Mounds in the US) in a cup!

★★★★☆

Great coconut smell. The tea itself is pretty mellow. I'll try making some again with more tea and slightly less water.

This tea smells wonderfully like coconut, and not the artificial kind either! As for taste, it was a little mellow and not very strong, but it might have been because I added too much water to the amount of tea I had. Either way, it left a great coconut aftertaste on the back of my tongue, and will probably have a more prominent flavor when I make it again with less water.

One of my first purchases! Has the buttery, quasi-oily notes of a ripe coconut, but is lightly sweet. Also makes a fantastic boba milk tea!

This tea was fantastic! I've been wanting to try it since I first discovered adagio, and I was not disappointed!

★★★★★

This tea is so delicious with plenty of milk and honey!

★★★★☆

Good coconut flavor, not artificial tasting. Goes great mixed with other flavored teas and milk. - Still a favorite

★★★☆☆

Unfortunately the black tea seems to drown out the coconut flavor, although the fragrance still lingers a bit.

★★★★★

I really enjoy the coconut flavor. It comes through with every sip.

★★★☆☆

I am not tasting much coconut flavor in this tea. I guess it is okay, but if you are a coconut lover, this tea doesn't satisfy.

This tea is very pleasant. The coconut flavour is pronounced, but not overwhelming. With a bit of cream and sugar, it makes an excellent dessert beverage!

★★★★☆

This is a good mixer tea. I wouldn't drink it by itself as the flavor can be a little overwhelming

★★★★★

A lot of flavored teas taste the flavor id hiding behind the ceylon. you taste the tea, then you taste the flavor. The coconut though is pretty seamless. the ceylon taste doesn't distract from or lessen it, the two flow into each other smoothly. I will be ordering more in the future.

Becoming one of my favorite teas. Opening the package it smells just like coconut candy without the over powering sweet smell. The smell continues through steeping and the taste of coconut doesn't get masked by the black tea while you're drinking. Despite the coconut, it's a tea that will be great year round.

This tea has been a constant in my house for the last six years or so. I always buy the biggest bag and make sure my stock never gets too low. It is the perfect balance of coconut and sweetness without going overboard, and I have gotten a few other people addicted to it as well. :)

Nice smooth coconutty flavor, but not overpowering. I did use a bit of extra tea. (2 tsp in a 13 oz mug.)

This tea is one of those teas that I find works very well in blends while leaving a bit to be desired when had on its own. I'll drink it on its own once in a while, but not often, and I generally find myself thinking it too perfume-y in taste when I do so. I do love using it in blends, though.

★★★☆☆

i love coconut teas, this one tasted a little bit fake.

★★★☆☆

The tea has a nice and subtle coconut flavour that isn't overbearing. However, compared to all the other adagio teas I have to choose from it just isn't anything exceptional. It's pretty standard as teas go. It's not bad, it just isn't something I would reach for over all the other teas I have stashed in my cupboard.

★★★★☆

Fantastic aroma! If you're looking for coconut, it fits the bill. It's good as an ice tea, though a bit over-the-top as a hot drink.

★★★★★

This tea is now one of my favorites, oh my gosh! The coconut is just on the right side of subtle, giving a stronger flavor to the cup than I expected. Sugar helps bring it out and I personally prefer it without milk, but if you want to add milk, make sure it's a very small amount.

★★★★☆

It's just coconut tea. I thought it was alright, and it's probably fantastic in blends, but sort of flat on its own. To be fair, I'm not a huge fan of straight coconut, which is why I gave it 'good' instead of 'ok'.

★★★★★

I loved the coconut with lemon grass it was an ah let me try this type thing and it came out awesome I'll be trying it by itself soon.

★★★★☆

This is a lovely tea. The coconut is a little bit strong on its own bit it blends well with other teas.

★★★☆☆

Boring, It took a lot to spice this tea up, we added melted chocolate ice cream to it. On its own My girlfriend and I didn't find any reason why to like the added coconut flavor. We felt like it was very weak and added nothing to the tea. So its a shame that this tea wasn't better. We both love coconut.

★★★★★

I'm a coconut nut, and I wasn't disappointed with the flavored coconut black tea. It's got a nice, strong scent, although the scent fades away with time. The flavor is just as good, and makes a delicious pairing with fruit teas, the vanilla tea, or just a plain black if you want to mellow the coconut flavor a bit. Awesome with milk or just on its own!

★★★★☆

I really like this tea! The coconut flavor was perfectly balanced with the black tea and the finish was nice and smooth. It's perfect in the morning instead of coffee.

★★★☆☆

Not bad, This is definitely a different acquired taste.

★★★★★

This is one of the first teas from Adagio that I've reviewed, but not the first I've gotten from this site. I have a tendency of oversteeping my teas, but I prepared this one according to the directions...sort of. I use a Farberware percolator (minus the coffee filter part) to warm my water, so while it's pretty hot, it's probably not 212 degrees. However, I did let it steep for 3 minutes. It tasted fantastic: rich and creamy, and with a strong toasted-coconut taste. I don't add anything to my teas, and this is perfect as is. I'm very happy with it, and will hopefully order a 3 oz. pouch once this sample is done!

I've been on a coconut kick lately, and this tea makes a great dessert tea with some cream and sugar. Definitely keeping this in stock in my tea collection.

★★★☆☆

Out of the bag it didn't smell like coconut. More like sweet grass. The taste is a little better, but not strong enough for me to feel as though it is actually coconut I am tasting. More sweet than anything.

★★★★★

At first I wasn't all together sure how I would feel about this tea. Coconut just seemed like an odd choice for a tea flavoring, but I changed my mind the instant I took the first tentative sip. If you are looking for a tea that is very simple yet with enough flavor to keep it interesting, this is positively the one.

★★★★★

The coconut is wonderful and not overly sweet. Might be lovely mixed with chocolate?

Tastes like fresh coconut in a black, flavorful tea.
