Creamy texture of fresh coconut flavor with the balanced brightness of Ceylon. Perfectly sweet and very well-blended.

This is very coconutty, but falls a bit flat. I don't think it is due to the flavor, but I am starting to not love the black tea base used in these flavored teas as I branch out and try other brands. Flavored blacks used to be all I drank...I think I just prefer oolongs and pu erhs more. But if you enjoy other flavors that Adagio has to offer, this one is a solid choice if you also enjoy creamy coconut!

This is an interesting flavored tea: mellowly sweet, with a slightly buttery/oily mouthfeel...no doubt that's due to the coconut pieces in the tea! It seems like it would be a good base for blends (indeed, it's the base for my favorite Thai Chai and it sings among the other ingredients playing in there!), but on it's own I'm afraid it seems to lack a certain oomph I come to expect from a flavored tea. Decent on its own, but better with milk and sugar.

★★★★★

smooth combination of black tea and coconut. Great both hot and cold.

I was excited to try this sample I got with my order, but it always lingered there in the back of my tea stash. First try and I'm not sure how I feel about it just yet, then again it normally takes me a bit to figure out how I like certain teas. I'd say definitely give it a go as a sample if you're on the fence!

Perfectly fruity and mild, best with cream and just a bit of sugar. I recommend steeping for around 5 minutes for a stronger cup.

I find it is a great tea to use as a mix in. If you like coconut, use a little half and half and a dash of syrup. It has a good flavor.

★★★★★

Delicious. Smells and tastes like coconut without being overwhelming or too obviously artificial. A nice, mellow, toasty sweetness. Exactly what I was hoping for.

One of my favorite teas. Did not expect to like this this much. It is smooth. That is really the best way to describe it. The scent is a little miss leading. The flavor is subtle but not under whelming.

★★★★★

This is great by itself, but I also loved blending it with fruity flavors such as strawberry! Great with milk and a little honey.

Nice Coconut smell and flavor. Flavor held up after brewing.

★★★★☆

Tastes great but I'm very much a seasonal eater/drinker, so I think I'll enjoy this a lot more when the weather is warmer. I look forward to making this iced in the Spring/Summer and adding a splash of pineapple juice to doll it up.

★★★★★

Flavorful and not just fragrant. Delicious in combination with the caramel tea or the chocolate chip!

★★★★★

Wonderfully sweet coconut aroma. The taste is sweet, but not overpowering. One of my new favorites!

★★★★★

Coconut is a tough flavor to get right as it can taste very artificial. This on the other hand tastes exactly like sweet creamy coconut milk. It's amazing! I love mixing it with florals such as rose and lavender.

★★★★★

We mixed with the English breakfast tea to make a delicious dessert.

★★★☆☆

I'm not sure what I was expecting here...this is overwhelmingly coconut-flavored. When brewed, it's highly remniscent of hot beach days and suntan lotion. I have found it better when blended with other teas (any of the berry flavored ones have worked well), but I don't much care for it on its own.

★★★☆☆

I tried and loved the coconut pouchong tea, and I was hoping this would be the same rich, real, perfectly subtle flavor that I found in the coconut pouchong. Perhaps because the black tea base does not compliment the flavor of coconut as well as pouchong, I thought it tasted slightly artificial. I mixed this with some chocolate and cream black tea for an Almond Joy flavored tea, and it was definitely an improvement.

★★★★☆

The coconut flavor is just strong enough. I really love this tea with milk or cream, especially if I seriously over-steep the tea and add it large amounts of sugar and cream. (I am bad at tea sometimes.)

★★★★★

I love this tea first thing in the morning. It's a great way to start the day. The coconut is very pronounced. If you are a fan of coconut at all, you will love this tea. I highly recommend it.

Immediately upon opening the packet, the overwhelming scent. I love coconut, and you can definitely taste it here, but it has a little astringency bitter note at the end. The black tea base is quite strong. I don't love it but is it's drinkable. Next time ill try it with milk to label down the strong black tea taste.

I totally love this tea! Very tropical! We love mixing it with pineapple juice.

★★★☆☆

Smells like peaches in the bag. Tastes like peaches in the cup, with just a hint of coconut. Almost buttery. I love coconut, but adagio's coconut flavoring is very disappointing and not like coconut at all.

★★★★☆

Light coconut flavor. Overall pretty good. Really good when mixed with cream.

★★★★☆

Coconut is an especially strong flavor, delicious hot or iced. It can get quite strong if steeped too long.

Great tea. Toasty coconut, not too bitter. The coconut flavor could be a bit stronger.

This tea makes my day! Its so smooth and delicious, you can really taste the coconut. I love it alone or with a little coconut or almond milk.

This is yummy so far. It tastes just like dried coconut, very beachy. I will be drinking this over the winter and thinking about warm weather.

★★★★☆

The smell and taste of the coconut tea are amazingly warm and comforting!

★★★★★

When I smelled it in the package i was kind of disappointed. Upon brewing, though, the smell became much more appealing and it tasted, well, like coconut. Very yummy with some cream!

★★★★☆

If you're a big fan of coconut, this is delicious. If you're so-so on coconut, I would stay far away. The coconut flavor is a bit overwhelming. We've found this blends well with other teas, such as the vanilla oolong.

★★★★☆

The coconut tastes perfect and not too strong, which I had been worried about before I ordered the sampler. Now I am interested in trying coconut in blends.

★★★★☆

I enjoyed the coconut very much. It was the great mixing it with the rooibos tropics. I thought it was great as an iced tea.

★★★★★

Yum Yum I mix this with chai tea and some milk and it's the best!!!

Used to get the Twinnings tea equivalent of this. They stopped making it so this is a great replacement

★★☆☆☆

I love coconut... and I mean I LOVE coconut. I was very hopeful that this tea would be my go-to tea for my coconut fix. I wanted to love it, but I didn't. It was alright (just a smidge below 'okay'-level). The coconut flavor was present, but was very, very subtle (regardless of how much I used or long I steeped it). Adding Splenda eliminated the subtle coconut flavors altogether. I am glad I gave it a shot, but will not be repurchasing this blend. If you enjoy strong coconut flavors (think: coconut cream pie), you probably won't consider this to be coconut-y enough.

★★★★☆

I bought this tea to combine with others and it is very strong by itself, so I definately got what I was looking for.

★★★★☆

The tea tastes great, especially with added milk.

★★☆☆☆

I admit, I'm not a fan of coconut to begin with. I just got this as a free sample and figured why not give it a try. The taste was cloying and unpleasant.

★★★★☆

This tea is AMAZING iced with a little Sugar in the Raw. Tropical without being overly fruity or fake-tasting. It's one of my go-to Adagio teas.

UPDATE: Had to downgrade this one from great to good based on a slight oily sheen I've noticed on the surface of this tea once it's brewed. The taste is still fine, but the oiliness is somewhat off-putting.

This one smelled sweet, almost grassy, right out of the bag. The flavor was mellow, very smooth, but I think this one would do better in a blend than on its own.

This is a fun dessert-like tea, add a little sugar and cream to boost the decadence.

★★★★☆

This is my go-to tea from Adagio...for the price you can't beat it.

★★★★★

The tea is nice, with a very clear coconut flavor. After reading reviews, I had it with a little almond milk, and the coconut really shone through. It's not my favorite though because the tea itself is not as strong as I would have expected, and kind of takes a back seat to the flavoring. Next time I may try it without the milk.

Update: I do prefer it without the milk, and after keeping it in the library while writing my thesis, it is my go-to 'work tea.' I definitely recommend it.

I'm just not a fan of coconut, but this came as a free sample from Adagio. It has a nicely flavored coconut taste, with actual shaved coconut pieces throughout. A great flavored black, but I'm just turned off because it's not a flavor I care for.

This is very tasty. The smell is like a toasted coconut. I like the coconut flavor in the thai chai better.

I really like this but I really like toasted coconut, if you don't like coconut this probably isn't for you, but if you don't like coconut I'm not sure why you are considering this to begin with. Its not an I love it! but I will def. reorder

Smells wonderful straight from the bag. (breathe in deep and enjoy) Seriously. Because that's the most enjoyable part of this tea. Steeped at high temperature for 4 minutes, and the wonderful smell is non-existent, and it tastes just like hot water. Well, maybe hot water with an extremely faint hint of ... nothing really. Re steeped for 2 more minutes and ... nope, nothing still. Resteeped for 2 more minutes, and there it is - a very faint taste of - bitter? Not really bitter, but certainly not tea, or definately not coconut. Yeah, I think it still tastes like hot water. Very disappointed. Oh well ... that's what samples are for

The coconut flavor is very strong. Dry leaves smell artificial. I have only used it for iced tea and will not be ordering again

A deliciously sweet tea and great with a little milk!
