I was expecting a lot more cinnamon than I got. I missed the mouth zings from a solid spice blend. I could smell the cinnamon, but it was so mellow in my cup. Not bad, definitely drinkable, but it felt unfinished to me.

Cinnamon light. I really enjoyed this tea, the cinnamon was subtle and combined well with the black tea. I am not a huge fan of cinnamon in my tea yet I really liked this blend.

Sampled as part of CommuniTea and enjoyed the cinnamon scent straight from the packet. Considering the strong scent, the taste of cinnamon was a bit lighter than I expected. The flavor did seem to get a touch more cinnamony as the tea cooled. The name suits this tea although the flavor may be a bit mild for those that love a strong cinnamon flavor.

Eh nah... it was a good black tea, but that's all I tasted. Barely any cinnamon flavor. Maybe I didn't get enough cinnamon bits in my communitea packet, but it tasted like plain tea. I still drank it, but wouldn't advise it if you want something with cinnamon. Instead, I highly recommend Adagio's Fiery Cinnamon Spice if you want a REAL punch of cinnamon!

A light cinnamon-flavored tea that is comforting without a punch of spice. Steeped at 190°F x 3 minutes. No bitterness noted from the Ceylon. Add a little sweetener and it's like drinking warm cinnamon toast.

Honestly, with how great this smelled I expected something with a very strong cinnamon flavor, like Red Hots. Unfortunately, it doesn’t end up tasting like that. It’s more like a black tea with some cinnamon undertones. I bet it would be good in blends though.

This was a subtle cinnamon. If I had to choose a cinnamon for the typical, sharp, spicy flavor, I would choose fiery cinnamon. But this tea has a different purpose. This tea is good to sit next to you on your desk when you need to concentrate but want tea to keep you company. I read some review it as baking cinnamon and I think it’s a great description. Softer, sweeter, but still warming up that final flavor

CommuniTEA packet tasting, this was a tasty black tea with a subtle hint of cinnamon. I enjoyed it as a tea latte with a bit of sweetness added. Happy sipping!

I'll admit, I am a big fan of cinnamon added to teas. This is a good rendition.

Yummy! I was worried that the cinnamon would be overpowering and too spicy, but this was a very well balanced cup!

A simple tea. The cinnamon wasn't too strong or overpowering, it just brought a light flavor and scent to the black tea. Had it iced and with some sugar.

This is a tasty, subtle cinnamon tea. If you're looking for Atomic Fireballs in a cup, check out Firey Cinnamon Spice. If you're looking for something warm and cozy on a fall or winter day, or to mix with other flavors, this is your winner.

It was ok didn’t really taste cinnamon but it was Terrible!!

I wished for more cinnamon flavor, the aroma seemed more promising than the taste. It is a good black tea with a tiny hint of cinnamon but if I am choosing a cinnamon tea, I would prefer my cinnamon flavor to be more intense.

I didn't really taste much cinnamon in this tea but I could absolutely smell it. It was a good black tea after I added cream and sugar.

I find that most cinnamon teas try to pack as much spiciness as possible into the tea, but this cinnamon tea is a refreshing change. It is an easy to drink tea with the warm flavor of cinnamon without tons of spice. This tea is simple and gentle and lets you taste the sweeter side of cinnamon. Brewed at 190F it was delicious black. With a small addition of brown sugar the sweetness of the cinnamon was intensified.

This is a nice tea. Not too overpowering on the cinnamon. Would be good in a blend.

I saw fellow communitea members say that this tea is a little light on flavor, and I really like tea that punches me in the face with flavor, so I mixed a little bit of tea from my free fiery cinnamon spice sample to give the flavor some more 'oomph' :)
And it worked! I sweetened it with some condensed milk like usual and it's super yummy and delicious!

I love my teas bold! This was not quite that, but tasty indeed! I love cinnamon, and prefer my cup to be fiery, but this is mellow and does not overpower the richness of the black tea! I love this cup with a tad of pure cane sugar and a splash of cream!

This tea is pretty good. The scent of cinnamon is definitely stronger than the flavor. I'm not a huge fan of overwhelming cinnamon flavor on its own, so I liked it! But if you're looking for cinnamon flavor that punches you in the face, this is not it.

Today tea is great I really enjoy it and you can taste the cinnamon, great joy (212 @ 3 min).

This tea is enjoyable. I gave it 4/5, because I felt it needed more cinnamon. There is another brand that makes a cinnamon tea that I always have on hand. The other tea is spicy and naturally sweet. This is neither, and much more mild. I’d suggest this if you don’t want to be assaulted by cinnamon.

Cinnamon is one of my favorite flavors, especially in the fall and winter months! This tea was a wonderful fall treat! However if Cinnamon isn't your favorite, I doubt this is the tea for you :)

This had a nice soothing cinnamon flavor. Great for a cool fall day. If you are looking for a spicier option, the fiery cinnamon spice tea is also delicious.

Had this tea with cream and sweetener. Adding this one to the wish list. I like that it's just cinnamon and no cloves (not a fan of cloves). Was looking for a decaff version to have as a dessert tea, but there is only spice decaff which has clove, so will skip that :) Hubbie had with no cream, only sweetener and loved it. Second brew at a lower temp was more smooth if you don't like your tea strong.

When I opened this packet I was surprised not to smell very much cinnamon. When I brewed it at the recommended 212 degrees and time, again there was shockingly little cinnamon smell or flavor! I was able to find the cinnamon--a gentle, warm, mildly fragrant cinnamon--when the tea cooled. This is a nice tea...but far too mild for a cinnamon tea!

Mellow and sweet, for those seeking a bit of added flavor for their black tea. I didn't detect any bitterness, even sans cream or sugar. I prefer the Fiery Cinnamon Spice blend for its added bite.

When I opened the package, the cinnamon smell was pretty faint. The tea itself has a stronger smell, but the taste is pretty mild.

Not a huge fan of this one. I thought it would be more cinnamon-y. I found adding some cream helped bring out the taste but it actually tastes more like dates than cinnamon.

The cinnamon in this tea is mild, but provides a little warmth. This is not a spicy, hot cinnamon. Delicious! I will definitely be buying some!

Nothing special stood out to me about this tea, not even the cinnamon flavor. Could not drink this with out adding splash of milk and sweetener. Because of its name, I expected a heavier cinnamon taste.

It's good tea, but nothing fancy. Nothing is bitter with this one. (Disclaimer: I have not tried Fiery Cinnamon Spice yet.)

I would have liked more cinnamon in a tea named Cinnamon! The flavor was very mild. I prefer the Fiery Cinnamon Spice to this one.

I'm really indifferent to this tea. I'm not a red hot candy fan, so I was relieved it doesn't taste like those. It's more of a cinnamon and sugar on your toast kind of cinnamon. But it's not quite enough of any one thing to make me love this.

This tastes like fall baking. The cinnamon is a bit forward, and takes sugar and cream to mellow it out for me.

When you think cinnamon, often times you think of sickly sweet, artificial cinnamon flavor. This blend was subtle, warming, and clean. No artificial flavors. Delightful!

Not the intense cinnamon flavor I was hoping for but overall pretty tasty. I’ll be comparing this to fiery cinnamon spice... I expect that to be more up my alley.

Update: Indeed I prefer firey cinnamon spice! It’s much more flavorful. The regular cinnamon tea gets bitter easily when I try to steep longer or add more tea to water to increase the flavor. The best way I found to increase the cinnamon flavor is adding whipped cinnamon honey, but I feel that shouldn’t be necessary with a cinnamon tea.

Enjoying with the CommuniTEA: strong, but not overwhelming cinnamon fragrance from the dry ingredients and packet. Once steeped for 3 mins at 190°F, I notice mainly honey black tea notes with subtle cinnamon. When I take a sip, I discover a warm, comforting cup of black tea with soft tannins and cinnamon essence with a dry, subtly spicy finish. As the cup cools, the black tea tannins become more pronounced.

I adore cinnamon in all applications so this tea is a winner for me! Add some sweetener and this tea comes alive. It will zing and tingle on your tongue and it’s hearty, warm earthiness will satisfy. This is a tea for the fall and winter seasons, bringing to mind falling leaves, cider, cinnamon brooms and Christmas greetings. Delight in the warmth of the memories it can evoke! Happy Sipping!

The cinnamon in this tea is on the lighter side. I suppose a little more flavor would be good too. This cinnamon is not the sweet candy flavor but more of a baking spice. Thisxwould be a great base for a blend. Enjoyable cup on a fall day.

5 Oct 21 followup review: Tasting at 190°F for three minutes this time. Again, a plain buttered slice of toast tasting platform was used. I had 3.22 grams of tea for a 13 ounce steep. I only added ⅜ teaspoon of sugar. Overall, results were basically the same as my previous review, but with a mellower mouthfeel of flavors, less bitterness and drinkable on it’s own. 5⭐️’s! (3 mins @ 190ºF, ⅜ tsp sugar)

4 Oct 20 review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Mild cinnamon bark aromas and were noted from the CommuniTEA packet this morning. Of course there was some black tea in there, too. From start to finish, cinnamon aromas and flavors were moderate and not overly spicy. The Ceylon black tea worked itself in with a very slight dark chocolate nib flavor and bitterness at the end. This was a pleasant drink while I was gnawin’ piece of plain buttered toast this morning. However, I think it would suit itself better if used in a blended tea. (4 mins @ 200ºF, 1/2 tsp sugar)

Warm and sweet cinnamon flavor is nicely balanced with the slightly astringent black tea. The spice doesn't overpower. Really enjoyed this taste of cinnamon without the other chai spices.
