The tea was crushed to a powder, but I still managed to steep a nice cup of tea. Cinnamon was present, but not very strong. I added a little sugar and a drop of milk.
Spicy cinnamon with bright Ceylon black tea. Very warm and high cinnamon flavor, fresh with a spicy-crisp finish.

solid meh. Just tasted like the black tea. No cinnamon flavor. My Communitea packet only had a few chips though. Much prefer the fiery cinnamon we had earlier this month.
I am not a black tea fan, and the scent of cinnamon was strong opening the pouch. I was pleasantly surprised on how good this was. Cinnamon was perfect, and the black tea was not bitter. This tea would make a great holiday tea. I wish it was decaf though-lol
This is the much more mild counterpart to the firey cinnamon spice tea; the main focus here was the black tea with a subtle hint of cinnamon that hits you stronger in smell than in taste. I didn't seem to get many of the cinnamon pieces in my communiTEA sample which could be why it was so mild, but overall I prefer the firey cinnamon spice to this one.
Cozy, warming..perfect for those moments of snuggling up for Fall/Winter activities.~ 🧣❄️🔥🫖 A not too spicy--Harmoniously balanced tea...Wondrous--with a scooch of Sugar and/or Creme.
November 14th, 2022 CommuniTea. As others have said, the cinnamon isn’t a kick-you-in-the-face strong spicy type, it doesn’t overpower the tea; it works perfectly alongside it. Excellent!
A nice twist on regular black tea, the cinnamon adds a subtle spice and sweetness that I really like.
The cinnamon was a bit bitter in the tea. If brewed again, I would go with three minutes. 5 mins @ 212 degrees.
212 degrees for 3 minutes. This tea was smooth with a hint of dry cinnamon. Cream and sugar mellowed out the flavors a bit too much. I prefer the fiery cinnamon spice over this one.
I love cinnamon. this tea was good but could have used a bit more cinnamon flavor. Though I'd still by this tea again.
Great cinnamon flavor, I added a few Selefina cinnamon bits to my second steep and it was just as good as the first. One of my fav flavors.
Very subtle cinnamon on the tongue, but the smell is excellent. I let this one cool down a bit after steeping, it seemed to allow me to taste it better.
This tea is a good warming sip, evocative of the first slow drift of a leaf falling to the ground in early fall rather than the barrage of leaves swirling down when a stiff breeze blows. Mild cinnamon, just a whisper. Brewed at 195 for three minutes. I added a bit of Cinnamon Honey.
In the bag: Mainly the thin, brittle, black leaves of Ceylon. A few pieces of cinnamon bark have joined the party, ranging in size from bits to chunks.
On the nose (pre-steep): Just cinnamon. As others have observed, it's the slightly sweet cinnamon of the stick variety, not the fiery kind in some other teas. Medium intensity.
On the nose (post-steep): Just a hint of cinnamon. The steep washed most of it out. The scent is a balance of Ceylon and the additive, which is unusual for flavored blacks.
On the tongue (pre-sweetener): Tastes like plain black tea. I can find the barest hint of cinnamon if I really hunt for it. No bitterness.
On the tongue (post-sweetener): Cinnamon has picked up a bit. The two flavors are in balance.
Opinion: A pleasant tea for casual sipping. Sweetener is a must to bring out the cinnamon. Be sure not to over steep as bitterness would wipe out the flavor. Not terribly complicated.
I enjoyed this tea but must admit that I prefer the Fiery Cinnamon tea. If you like a gentle cinnamon tea this is the one for you. I agree with others that this will be nice for blending. I steeped at 190 degrees for 3 minutes and added a little raw honey.
The cinnamon flavor is a bit muted.
For some reason I thought that this would be stronger in the cinnamon flavor. I didn't get any bitterness after
brewing at the lower temp. (195F for 3min)
The cinnamon is pleasant not strong. It is a good tea to drink if you just want a little punch to your morning
Brewed 5 min this was very light flavored but a few more minutes really brought out the tea flavor and made it more astringent, which I like. I added some honey. Nice cinnamon flavor.
This has a light, mild cinnamon flavor. While it doesn’t pack the punch of the spicier blends, it holds its own as a pleasant cup. It makes a good hot or cold tea.
Subtle cinnamon, not as kick-you-in-the-face as I was expecting. It’s good.
Yummy, not too spicy tea! I added sugar and oat milk.
This is excellent iced or hot! This is a great tea with curry or other meals with strong flavors. The tea is flavorful, but not over-bearing.
I suppose any cinnamon-flavored tea would feel weak after trying Adagio's Fiery Cinnamon Spice! If you're looking for something milder with hints of cinnamon, this namesake black tea will likely please you. If you're seeking more robust, hotter flavors, upgrade to the 'fiery spice' variant. Regardless, Cinnamon tea is an excellent choice when looking for creative ways to feel cozy and warm in the fall and winter.
Like it but not as much as fiery cinnamon. I think It’s blah.
I love this tea in the winter, it is a good substitute for coffee on a cold day!
I love cinnamon tea and this one does not disappoint. It is naturally sweet and delicious.
I loved this. A perfect tea with a little spice in the morning.
Delicious, and nice cinnamon taste without being too strong. Would like just a touch more of the black tea flavor to come through, but all in all a lovely tea first thing in the morning.
This one has good flavor, but it definitely tastes like it's missing something. I suspect it'd be good to blend with (it's great in the Christmas blend, for example), but it can't quite stand on its own.
Definitely for the cinnamon lover. The cinnamon flavor is strong, exactly as I like it.
Absolutely delicious if you like cinnamon which I love
This tea isn’t overpowered with cinnamon so it adds a subtle cinnamon taste mixed with the base tea. It’s perfect for those who enjoy cinnamon black tea without the overuse of cinnamon sticks.
I almost think I got a bad sample of the this Cinnamon tea. There is only a faint Cinnamon smell dry in the bag and steeped I lose the aroma completely. The taste is a basic Ceylon tea with the slightest hint of cinnamon in the aftertaste. Drinkable, but wouldn't buy this one again.
Lovely cinnamon flavor. I've purchased this in the past. It was always superb!
I think this tea has a lovely cinnamon flavor without losing the black tea.
This tea is good but only has a light cinnamon flavor. I probably wouldn't buy it again for that reason. I would like to try adding some cinnamon spice to see if that's more of what I'm looking for.
This one didn't work form me. The cinnamon needs some other flavors to blend with.
Love this Cinnamon tea. It is a powerful cinnamon - but delicious!
Nice flavor, not too strong not too light. Will definitely buy again
I liked this tea. Interestingly, it wasn't as cinnamon-ny as I was expecting. Still, it was a nice, warm, fall tea.
Great flavored black tea if you like cinnamon. I enjoy this in the colder months. I try not to over-steep this to avoid any bitterness.
Dry tea smells faintly like cinnamon. Once brewed, the resulting cup is a medium brown with similar scent. When hot, mild cinnamon flavors are present with the black tea. When warm, more of the black tea base is noticeable, with warm cinnamon zings in the finish. For being a cinnamon tea, the cinnamon is not overwhelming or too hot of a flavor. The black tea adds a nice brightness to this warming tea. Brewed at 200 for 3 minutes.
I'm usually a big fan of cinnamon and spice type teas, and black teas as well, but this one didn't wow me. Maybe I brewed it with too much water for the amount of tea I had in my CommuniTEA sample packet, but I found this one to be bland and only faintly cinnamony. It just wasn't for me. There are much better cinnamon and spice teas in Adagio's lineup. I brewed for 4 min at 200F.
The cinnamon is just too mild. Fiery cinnamon spice for the win!
The cinnamon in this blend--the selling point of the tea--is good but underwhelming. It's much less spicy than advertised, though the main flavors shine through otherwise. It's much earthier than I was expecting.
Bought to blend with chocolate tea and chiles for mexican hot chocolate tea... I like the cinnamon flavor in this, and ended up enjoying it more blended with Creme and Vanilla black teas! @adagioteas
This is a milder cinnamon tea, but it was delicious! I do like my cinnamon fiery and this was somewhat sweet at times. I added a tea ball full of Adagio's cinnamon inclusion to soak while I was drinking this hot. The added cinnamon inclusion did help pump up the cinnamon flavor. I followed the instructions for steeping. Overall, this was a great tea if you like a calmer cinnamon tea. I like to feel the spicy cinnamon in my throat so I might even add another tea ball full of cinnamon inclusion for the next steep.
This was a pleasant cinnamon tea I usually like my cinnamon more pronounced and more like Chei tea or with cream but this one was satisfying just as it was without ringing any bells
Great cup of tea when you want black tea with a bit of cinnamon aroma and flavor. Moderate cinnamon flavors throughout the sip once it cools a touch. No bitterness and mild astringency. If you want in your face cinnamon then get fiery cinnamon spice. If you want something subtle or to blend with, then this is your tea. I love this one blended with tiger eye and a bit of brown sugar. Good with or without cream. Steeped 195° for 3 mins. Cheers!
You know the holidays are near when the sweet and oaky smell of cinnamon fills the air and stocks store shelves lol. Delicious flavoring, warming, and calming. Loving the holiday teas!!
