I think it tastes a bit one-note unless you add a bit of sugar. Once you do - it pops! A bit of oat milk is great too.
I'm not sure I can do justice with a review. Do you like chocolate truffles? Do you like sweet, aromatic tea? Well, if so, just try this and I think you will become a huge fan. A really nice alternative to my love of peach, apricot and raspberry green teas. I don't know what else I can say. Definitely a new favorite.

This tea has the most wonderful aroma when you open the bag. I does not scream chocolate but has the warmth of chocolate and a hint of sweetness. It is a lovely tea. I prefer to have my teas straight without anything added. This tea is perfect just as it is. It just doesn't get any better than this for a sweet moment.

Love this tea! The slight bitterness of dark chocolate goes well with the bitterness of black tea, but it’s not TOO bitter — there’s definitely a sweet chocolate flavor too! I always drink my tea plain, but I bet adding dairy and/or sweetener would make this even more decadent!
This has got to be one of my favorite flavored teas. Years ago I had a chocolate cream tea at a restaurant and have been trying to recreate it since. The chocolate truffle comes pretty close!
Steeping at 4 minutes gives a robust deep flavor without much bitterness. With a bit of vanilla sugar and cream, this is an excellent morning or dessert tea!

I really wanted to enjoy this tea. The name sounds wonderful but it came off a little artificial tasting.
Maybe it's that I never found the exact right balance of heat to time steeping, but the tea was somewhat bitter and not nearly as chocolatey as I wanted it to be. I enjoyed my sample, but I won't be repurchasing!
This sip is absolute chocolate decadence end to end, with a bit of chicory sparkle on the aftertaste. I'm not a chocolate lover, so this one was far too dark and chocolatey for me without a bit of creamer, but with creamer it's a delicious, creamy dessert. Adagio absolutely nailed this one.

If you drink cream with your tea, this one will taste like a nice hot cocoa. I have blended it with raspberry and black cherry blends and it is superb.

My husband liked this more than I did, and while it goes well with other black teas or mate teas, I just don't think it's good on its own. It tastes a little too artificial for my liking.

Bought this same type of tea from a different tea company (a brick and mortar store) and it cost several times more than the Adagio tea for about the same amount. Even factoring in the shipping cost with the Adagio tea.
Also, I have been to several different tea and spice stores and the Chocolate Truffle has been a little hard to find.

I brewed my Chocolate Truffle with some extra cocoa nibs and chocolate honey and absolutely fell in love with this tea! To me, it is very similar to the Chocolate Chip tea. It is super chocolatey, almost like an actual truffle dessert. I would highly recommend this tea!

To be totally honest at 1st I was not really sure about this tea thought it was so so. I'm a former diet pop drinker and tea is new to me. the 2nd time I drank it I fell totally in love with this tea I do enjoy doing a half and half mix with the banana nut tea I drink this cold by the quart

This was not my favorite... the chocolate made it too astringent for my taste. But definitely very chocolaty and would probably be good with some sweetness! I just don't prefer sweet teas.
The blend has a very chocolatey type of smell to it. The taste itself has a nice smooth texture and adding sweetness gives the truffle like flavor a nice kick that is really appreciated.
