Heaven in a cup! 5 out of 5 stars! From the first sip, you are on a pleasure path that your palette can't turn away from. Incredible rich, it lives up to it's name. I loved it so much, I got their decaf chocolate truffle, which has all these accolades, but also is decaffeinated!
Very dessert like . Definite chocolate flavor , sweet and delicious . . I would buy this tea again !
This one is rich! Great for a time when you're graving something sweet but don't want to give in to the temptation of the candy drawer. Goes very nicely with a splash of half-n-half or whole milk.

Chocolate truffle is a good tea. It tastes like a good black tea with chocolate flavor. It is not my favorite, I would prefer Black Forest Cake - more complex and I really enjoy the hints of fruit.
The sheer chocolatey smell of this is amazing. It steeps up into a really nice tea, with the tea flavor and the chocolate flavor well balanced with each other.

The cocoa used in the tea tasted a bit too artificial for me, but it was a fine tea other than that.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good. Perfect as a sweet delectable treat. But I also combined this with the Irish Cream tea, mudslide powder and mini chips to create a mudslide tea!!
As with the Chocolate Chip, had this not required cream to pull out the chocolate flavor it would have received 5 stars. I'd honestly give this one 4.5 stars because this is so decadent! Hands down, this is my favorite chocolate tea.

This may be my favorite tea from Adagio. Chocolaty deliciousness. I let it brew longer than the 3 minutes. It does contain caffeine.
This is a delicious tea for a sweet treat! With a splash of milk, it’s a great substitute for coffee. The sweet smell and flavor really pairs well with a snack. It does remind me of a hot coco drink but with a caffeine kick.

I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed this tea. Normally this isn't a tea that I would identify as one that I had to try or would want to it was sent as a sample and I'm glad it was. it had enough chocolate notes to provide flavor but the earthiness of the tea still came though so it wasn't overpowered by the chocolate chips.
Wow! If you love chocolate, you won’t want to miss this brew! The aroma is full bodied chocolate and the flavor is smooth and rich without any cloying flavors - a wonderful tea to warm you on a chilly day and to round out a celebration or special event menu. I’ll definitely order more!
Though it’s not my favorite out of the teas I’ve tried, this tea did help to curb my chocolate craving on a cold morning! It was tasty and I loved the bits of actual chocolate inside the mix.

Edit 2/1/23: I think this has changed since the last time I've had it - the chicory and cocoa powder add a touch of chocolately bitterness and a richness I don't remember from the last time I had this. Tasty!
This is effectively hot chocolate with caffeine and the benefits of (sweetened) tea. And the variety of chocolate ingredients keeps it from tasting too much like dark chocolate alone. If not for the fact that I'm limiting added sugar, I would be very tempted to get more than just this free sample! I would probably prefer the decaf however, as I would rather save dessert flavored teas for after dinner.

This smells more like chocolate than it tastes. I see from other reviews that others sweetened the tea to enhance the chocolate taste. Perhaps I should try that next time.

This chocolatey tea is not quite what I expected, a far cry from hot chocolate, but that's ok. A bold brew that smells like a luxurious box of chocolates but delivers a deep punch of cacao and black tea. Just like a fancy truffle, there's an unexpected depth of surprise.
I love dark chocolate and this tea did not disappoint! It is definitely a dupe for hot chocolate. I did not taste chicory, only delicious rich chocolate. It may be a dessert tea, but I wouldn't suggest drinking this at night. This has enough caffeine in it to keep you buzzing for hours!
Always one of my favourites. I actually like the decaf version a little better, but I'm not turning up my nose at the caffeinated version, either. The aroma and the palate are both richly chocolatey in all the right ways, but not heavy and definitely not over-sweet. It's so delicious and comforting; I could drink it every day and never tire of it.
