Imagine the closest thing to a hot cocoa, without it being exactly a hot cocoa. I had no choice but to try it without oat milk to verify my prediction of the chocolate sweetness, but adding oat milk only seemed to brighten that cocoa note a lot.
Like taking a bite out of a velvety smooth chocolate confection, our Chocolate Truffle tea is truly a chocolate lovers dream.

This tea is ChocolÄt Perfection! When you gotta š« hankering..Reach for this cuppa!
I've tried all of their chocolate teas on offer and this one is the best. Makes a delicious dessert tea with milk/cream and sugar!
The aroma is heavenly and enticing and the flavor is rich and complex, with a smooth sweetness and a subtle earthiness. The cornflowers add a touch of color and beauty to the blend, while the chicory adds a hint of nuttiness and depth to the blend, giving it a high-bodied and slightly bitter character. This blend is perfect for indulging yourself.
The original blend I fell in love with here, this started my addiction to flavored teas. An amazing blend.
Great chocolately flavor - best I've tried. Subtle, but the flavor is hard to accomplish no matter where you look. Delicious to satisfy cravings.
A pleasant tea, especially if you want something sweet without the calories. Like others have said, it has the smell of a cup of cocoa. The dark chocolate flavor definitely comes through as well as the hint of chicory which makes for a bold cup of tea. Chocolate notes were more prominent as it cooled. I like this tea and itās a nice change of pace. Iād like to try blending it with vanilla or cream tea to add some creamy notes then it may taste even more like a cup of cocoa.
This is one of my favorites. Nice robust chocolate flavor. It's great to mix with other flavors for a hint of cocoa.
Delicious! I enjoy black tea and this adds an extra flavor.
Not my favorite. Flavor was a bit bitter and also seemed watered down, despite following directions for temp and steep. Wonāt purchase this one again.
Exactly what you'd expect of a chocolate based tea. Add a tiny amount of sweetener of your choice and its a low calorie hot cocoa. My go to dessert tea, especially in winter months.
This is my favorite of the 'chocolate' teas. It has a more subtle flavor but at the same time is more 'chocolatey' than the other teas.
Don't over steep any of them. Get the strainer out right on time for the best flavor.
A wonderful dessert tea that really satisfies the desire for after dinner treat. A pinch of sugar is all that is needed
Wasnāt my favorite it taste better with honey rather then sugar
It's alright. Most of the Adagio chocolate blends taste indistinguishable to me, just sort of an artificial chocolate flavor despite them using 'natural' chocolate flavoring. The chicory doesn't add much to this one.
This is a rich tea with a lot of chocolate flavor. I like it best with a bit of sweetener and a splash of milk.
Very delicious as with any chocolate flavored anything. I enjoyed the warm subtle flavor.
Steeping this longer than suggested gives it a taste reminiscent of 90% dark chocolate; bitter yet smooth. Subsequent steepings smoothed it out a bit but itās definitely for dark chocolate lovers. I thought it was the best, most chocolatey tea Iāve ever tried. Iām glad I didnāt just order a sample!
This is a very hearty chocolate tea with the added chicory. I enjoy this as a dessert tea with creamer.
Love this one ! Kind of reminds of malt o meal in a good way . Great with cream and sweetener .
So delectable. Itās the perfect tea for dessert time!
My partner loves the limited edition Irish Stout. This sample was 50% off so I got it to see if it would do as a substitute. First thoughts: Decent.
Great tea! A great tea for breakfast, great with or without milk and with or without sugar. Would reccomend!
This is the perfect treat for when you want something sweet without the calories. Will definitely buy this one again!!
This smells incredible, like chocolate covered pretzels. It has a mild but pleasant flavor. I enjoyed it with a bit of sugar and almond milk.
A nice black tea with a good chocolate flavor. I made it for 3 minutes at 90 degrees celsius. I definitely recommend!
I'm liking this chocolate flavored tea more and more. Chocolate Chip was my chocolate tea of choice initially, but I love the small amount of chicory and cocoa powder in Chocolate Truffle. I'd also come to the conclusion that cocoa nibs taste more chocolate-y to me than chocolate chips do in tea. This has both but the nibs get the first position. I also love that it comes in full caff and decaf-- I love having options. :)
If you like chocolate and who doesnāt, you will love this tea!
This is the YUMMIEST tea!! I was pleasantly surprised at the flavor the blue coneflower add to the chocolate and chicory. Just a delight to the senses. I think my nose loves it as much as my mouth!!
This tea has sort of a smoky taste with a touch of dark chocolate. Not bad at all for a change once in a while.
Smooth for a black tea, however I tasted no chocolate truffle. It honestly tasted like basic black tea and I had to add chocolate oat milk to give it a chocolate flavor.
Great cup of chocolate tea - perfect as a dessert tea with sweetener and cream added. Well balanced with the silky taste of chocolate and cocoa blending well with the creamy mild black tea base. Smells great.
Good news is that you can coax a second steep from it at 5 mins/212ĀŗF.
One of my favorite chocolate teas! This has a nice dark chocolate taste that is enhanced with milk and a little sweetener.
In my opinion this is the very best chocolate tea. Not to sweet. Smooth and just the right combination of flavors.
My favorite chocolatey tea! Will always be my go to. Great flavor.
Had a great chocolate aroma, great with cream and sugar, but not needed. Had to add more to get a stronger taste and steeped it for 8 minutes instead of the 3 min. My guests loved it! It was a strong tea, so if you are caffeine sensitive definitely opt for the caffeine free option.
This one smells almost like coffee. If you manage to get the cocoa nibs, the flavor is good and chocolatey but it's not strong chocolate flavor. It needs to be brewed for 5 minutes to get the full flavor. I sweeten with honey.
Wish it was more chocolatey tasting. Trying all the chocolate flavored tea. Average tasting, just ok as far as chocolate goes.
Soooooo good. Add some cream (half&half for me) and some sugar and just enjoy. :D
Fantastic chocolate flavor! Love this tea! Sweetener adds depth and character to the brew! One of my favorites!
Great after-dinner tea, feels like having dessert without having to make dessert. The chicory helps it not taste too sweet as it adds a slightly bitter note.
Nice chocolate flavor. I had this with the chocolate honey that Adagio sells so it had an even deeper flavor which I also recommend
This had a nice chocolate flavor. I's not as rich as my favorite of this style which is chocolate chip, but it's a decent silver medal. It also doesn't hold up as strongly in a latte as you'd hope, but it is a tasty afternoon treat.
Very pleasant tea! Not super chocolate forward, but the chocolate does add a nice creaminess to the tea. Probably my favorite of adagios chocolate teas, naturally sweet, but still rich with a depth of flavor from the Choco.
Very rich, chocolate taste. It is a little richer than puer chorange but without the orange flavor. I feel I should be chewing the chocolate truffle while I drink it. 4 stars because it is just too rich for my taste.
I was pleasantly surprised by this tea. I don't drink chocolate flavored teas regularly. But i think this is the best Chocolate tea Adagio has. Add a little heavy whipping cream and you have a nice treat!
Delicioso, tiene un intenso sabor a chocolate y un color aluncinante
Delightful. The chocolate is rich and like cacao desert. I really enjoy this in the morning, after dinner, or with a desert or treat. I like it best with sugar or both cream and sugar but honey is nice as well.
Smells like a German chocolate cake. Once brewed though, itās more of a dark chocolate taste- a little on the bitter side
I sent this as part of a gift to two different families I got an instant response on how wonderful this was. It is in my shopping cart now canāt wait to order.
