The scent of this tea is for every chocolate lover, it has a great dark chocolate scent. And the taste is a delicious, dark chocolate. Chicory, chocolate chips and cocoa nibs help bring out the dark chocolate flavoring. I never knew tea could taste like you're eating chocolate.
Does a good job of curbing chocolate cravings, but I think the tiger’s eye tea somehow tastes more chocolatey than this one!
A pleasant tea- but it doesn't taste like a chocolate bar or anything. I have it very milky with a teaspoon of sugar. There isn't a strong chocolatey taste- more of a cacao aroma that almost becomes a taste. There are almost brown sugar notes? It's still a black tea at heart- not chocolate milk or hot chocolate. I will still pull this out as I finish off my sample size for sure.
It's good, tastes like if hot chocolate and tea had a baby! I added milk, heavy whipping cream, and sugar to mine.

Very nice smooth flavor. I am new to drinking tea other than regular iced tea you get as a restaurant. I think I used too much water for my sample I would suggest sticking to 8 oz for a sample size. Can't wait.to.try it again with less water.

This tea has a very subtle chocolate flavor without any sweeteners. But after adding some sugar free vanilla syrup, the taste overall was enhanced. A nice pleasant cup of tea to enjoy.

The beginning dark chocolate notes hit real well with my daughter, granddaughter as well as myself being chocolate lovers whom also love truffles. But at the end there seems to be a slight aftertaste that hits which is not very welcomed by us. While many may not notice this, we have. We have sensitive taste buds.

Three stars because I don't really enjoy this tea, but not because it's a bad tea. It's most certainly my personal preference. My friends tried it and loved it.
Delicious hot coco / tea hybrid. I will be buying a large size of this as a gift for my tea-loving aunt when Christmas comes back around. The sample pack is definitely more than I dared to hope to get for around 3$, especially since I like to make very flavorful large mugs of tea. Great way to try out some nice new things. I think even chocolate lovers who don’t care much for tea would still enjoy this, it is a delicious dessert tea when sweetened properly.

One of my mother's favorite black tea flavors. She likes to blend with Cream black tea for a special treat with cream and sugar.
The flavor of the black tea is definitely at the forefront in this tea, but the Chocolate is a nice addition. I drink my tea black, so maybe with the addition of some cream and sugar it would be more decadent and dessert like.
OMG this tea is Wonderful. I did add cocoa nibs and milk to my pot, but this is a very relaxing break tea. The aroma is simply heavenly
Delicious and chocolatey, though a little less so than reviews had lead me to believe. The biggest thing with this tea is that it becomes bitter quite easily. It does not need to steep particularly long before doing so. As long as you steep it for only around 2-2:30 at slightly below boiling, though, it is delicious.
I do wish the chocolate flavour / taste was heavier — be sure to have this tea sweet to bring out the chocolate more!
I've had chocolate tea before, but this blows it out of the park. I had it with sugar and a generous splash of milk but set aside some without milk to try it both ways. I prefer it with milk, but both are excellent. Wonderful chocolate taste and aroma. I'll have to try it iced next.
