This is what I wanted the chocolate tea to be! I keep a tin of the regular chocolate tea from the site around for when I really want cocoa (but should never have actual cocoa...so much sugar!). The chocolate tea is okay...a subtle chocolate flavour. The chocolate truffle is delightfully chocolaty, with a richer and smoother flavour that is much closer to cocoa. It is also a little sweeter than the regular chocolate tea, and doesn t need more than the tiniest drip of honey or agave to finish it off. Best with a splash of almond milk. When my regular chocolate runs out, I will only buy this to replace it.

I think Adagio does chocolate teas very well, and this one is no different, and may in fact be my favorite of their chocolate teas. I liked it so much that I gave it to my son last year as part of his Christmas gift, and he loved it too. Great with a touch of sugar and cream, but stands on its own without. Like other flavored adagio teas, I like to brew this at 200, because I find that it keeps the bitterness down a bit.

Strong Chocolate flavor, milk (almond milk in my case) makes it really smooth!

Very good. I may have needed to add some sweetener to compliment the chocolate notes. Ill try it sweeter next time and maybe it'll be a 5star tea for me.

Well if this isn't dessert in a cup. It's so smooth and the perfect alternative to what would have been a morning mocha with too much sugar in my coffee drinking days!

A little too much chocolate - overkill. Would have preferred a hint instead of a slap in th face.

Deliciously chocolatey! This was perfect with half and half and about a teaspoon of sugar. A good caffeinated substitute for hot cocoa. It tastes and smells richer than I'd expect from a tea. I especially like drinking it on cold fall mornings.

I have never had chocolate tea, so I did to know what to expect. I did not like the taste of the chocolate in the tea.

I'm always down for trying new tea flavors so once I saw a chocolate-based tea, I knew I had to have it! Once I opened my sample pack, I was immediately hit with a strong scent of dark chocolate (kind of reminded me of Chocolate World at Hershey Park). The package said to only add in one teaspoon but I decided to add about a tablespoon instead. This was a good idea because the flavor kind of reminded me of a watered-down hot chocolate. I will definitely be adding even more next time I drink this tea- I am always a sucker for any form of chocolate! I really did enjoy the taste of this tea, it is a great tea to have on a nice Fall night with a cookie by your side.

This one was really good! It is actually very similar in taste and composition to the Mocha Nut Mate, but while the Mocha Nut Mate is a VERY good replacement for the old Teavana 'My Morning Mate' tea, this tea is just straight-up chocolate. So ... more of a dessert tea than a morning tea. Tastes great. If you like chocolate, you will love this

This is the best chocolate tea I've had. It is noticeably chocolate without the strong chemical aftertaste. It's rich and dark and pleasant.

I was really hoping that this would be in your face chocolate, but it was not as chocolaty as the chocolate chip.

Subtle chocolate is the phrase. It has a natural sweetness and no bitterness. I do believe I'll be reordering this one.

Rich and satisfying, as velvety decadent as hot chocolate. I add a bit of cream and honey. I prefer it over the straight chocolate tea because Truffle has an, even more, chocolatey favor and this is now a permanent staple in my cabinet, with dedicated Tin. chicory makes a good replacement for coffee amd satisfies the need for caffeine.

I wanted to like this one, I really did. It smells nice in the bag but that's about where my enjoyment ended. When tasted without sugar, it tasted like hot water with the vaguest hint that maybe there was something else going on. With sugar, it just tasted bitter and strange. Like old coffee, kind of.

Let's just say this isn't... my cup of tea.

This is the tea i drink when I am having chocolate cravings. Very nice mid say sipper.

My daughter loves this one (I do too) Smells great and very nice with some milk and a little sugar.

Such a nice, subtle chocolate flavor. I love the berry undertones. Very nice for those with a sweet tooth!

This tea is good if you're looking for a rich, chocolatey tea experience. The chocolate pieces seem to thicken the consistency a bit. Overall I enjoyed this tea, and I look forward to having more during the cold days of winter!

Chocolately and fun, love this as a mid morning or mid-afternoon pick me up. Not particularly creamy, a bit like cocoa made with water.

I don’t even know where to start. This tea was incredible! It is deliciously decadent but not overly sweet. The dark chocolate and chicory complement each other perfectly.

This one is very rich! I only recently decided that I liked chocolate in tea, so this is not an everyday drink for me, but special. I will probably use this as a stand in for hot chocolate!

One of my favorite teas... its like dessert in a cup. The chocolate flavor is rich and full.

It's good. I don't love it but it's nice if I have a little sweet craving.

Surprisingly enjoyable! I wasn t sure what to expect, would it be sweet, strong, chocolaty, bitter? Turns out it s got a bit of a cocoa and chicory flavor making it not bitter, but definitely stronger than some other mixes. Overall, a very nice cup.

UPDATE: I love this tea. The more I drink it with just a splash of milk the more enjoyable of a cup I find it to be. It gives a similar experience to drinking a cup of coffee with milk. Very enjoyable.

DELICIOUS nose, but the choclate flavors did not come through for me on the tase. I started at 3 mins and then increased to 5 after not getting flavor after 3 min.

One of my favorite chocolate teas. It’s good hot and iced. I would definitely recommend this tea if you love chocolate.

The chicory here really makes it a nice chocolatey experience. Usually chocolate-flavored tea is a little thin but this is great.

This tea really didn't do it for me. I did not like!

Not too bad. The smell was a lot stronger than what came through in the flavor. I wouldn't turn down a cup, but I'm not in a rush to order more.

I had this as a sample and ended up ordering more. I didn't think I'd like chocolate flavored tea but it is really good.

This is now my Saturday morning tea, the warm velvety chocolate flavor in my cup that lets me know it's time to relax and unwind from the week.

I love dark chocolate and until now had not found a chocolate tea that I love. This chocolate truffle tea is the best chocolate tea that I have ever had.

This was my go-to tea for the summer (hot on rainy days and iced on hot days). The chicory hits as a coffee note, so if you or someone you know is trying to switch from coffe to tea this would be a great bridge tea.
