Not very chocolatey at all. More like a fake chocolate flavor, and faint at that. You'd be better served getting the chocolate chip tea than this one.
I'm not big on chocolate but this will make a great mixer.
Chocolate, tea, chocolatea. Rich, dessert-like tea, definitely good for mixing or for a chocolate fix by itself.
I loved this tea! The aroma hooked me in and the flavor really was better than expected. I will certainly purchase this tea over and over again.
It smells fantastic in the bag, but doesn't really have a strong chocolate smell or taste once brewed. There is still something chocolately in the tea, though, although it could be my imagination. I'll probably keep a sampler bag of this around and mix it with other teas.
This is the only chocolate tea I have found that actually tastes like chocolate. It's not an overwhelming, kick in your face chocolate taste like Hershey's Syrup. It's subtle. It tastes like a nice bittersweet. It's definitely a favorite.
Very nice, mix it with peppermint for a delicious little treat.

I like this tea by itself, but I'll sometimes add a pinch to the chocolate chai, as I feel it doesn't have quite enough black tea for my taste. Mmm. Perfecto!
This is pretty good
This is one of my favorite flavored teas, along with the cinnamon. I Highly recommend this tea to someone who is just getting started on trying various teas. I personally enjoy this tea during the winter months after a long cold day outside.
This tea is almost exactly like the chocolate chip tea (which I prefer), just without the added smoothness and plush mouthfeel. Earthy-sweet, a slight dryness and barely-there bitter finish. I would use this one for blends and drink the chocolate chip tea alone.

A full bodied tea with a subtle chocolate flavor. Very enjoyable with a bit of cream and sugar - almost like having dessert!
This tea was ok. The chocolate flavor was not bad it just tasted like a flavor rather than the real thing.
A subtle chocolate flavour to this one, it's not going to punch you in the taste buds but it smells absolutely heavenly. it made an excellent base for me to play with when I had some left over varieties to throw into it
I may need to try more chocolate teas to give this a fair review. Can't say I love this tea, though it definitely has a chocolatey aroma. I like to pair this with unsweetened vanilla almond milk. I may pair it with honeybush vanilla rooibos next. I guess the chocolate is a little harsh or something. I'm not quite a fan.
Smells amazing, before, during and after the brew, but the flavor doesn't really deliver. It's nice and mildly chocolatey. Not as 'rich' as the chocolate chip, but still fairly good.
This tea had a rich strong flavor. The flavor however was more of a characteristic of the black tea rather than the cocoa. I would not necessarily classify this as a 'dessert' tea, but it was a fine product and very soothing.
Really good- but not great. Seemed not quite chocolaty enough for a true chocolate lover- but a nice tea.

You know, I think I prefer chocolate teas blended with other teas. On their own, they just don't do much for me. :( This, like chocolate chip, was weaker than I wanted it to be and I have to keep telling myself that it's chocolate tea and not some other form of chocolate drink. So my mind plays tricks on me telling me it should be a lot richer than it is. Even adding a little sweetner didn't bring out the amount of flavor I wanted. It was just... mneh.
I'm not a big fan of chocolate and this was actually a holiday sampler but the taste is fair though I would probably not buy again. It was worth a try however.
Great tea by itself. But I like to mix equally with caramel and hazelnut. My favorite tea on a cold morning!
This tea smells very similar to a cup of hot cocoa. The tea (itself) is hard to distinguish from the general aftertaste of coffee. I found it much more pleasant with a drop of honey.
Chocolate tea is awesome! The chocolate is not overpowering, right blend of tea and chocolate.

It smells really amazing until it's brewed. Right out of the bag, it smells identical to chocolate. After brewing, it doesn't smell as much. I can taste the chocolate, but it's not sweet chocolate, like expected. Adding agave nectar makes it a little better, but not by much.

This one has a pungent chocolatey aroma-- maybe that's why I felt a little cheated when the chocolate flavor was all but overpowered by the black tea.
Chocolate and tea are not meant to be together. Both are amazing on their own, but the bond is just not there. If only it tasted as great as it smelled...
Love this light chocolate flavor that blends well with other flavors, such as orange. Not overwhelming in flavor at all and tastes great with a bit of sugar.

I didn't get to try a lot of cups of this as my family drank all the rest but the cup I did have it was delicious though the chocolate could have stood out a little more.
Very bitter, should be combined with something to remove the bitterness from the flavor.
The chocolate flavor tastes kind of like a tootsie roll. It was a good cup of tea on its own, but I liked it better blended with strawberry.

Initially reminded me of Tootsie Rolls. It is quite good but I think I would prefer it mixed in a blend or with an additional flavor than the chocolate alone.
This tea has a bitter aftertaste that over powers the chocolate taste.
As a chocoholic, I LOVE IT A LOT! :D It's so yummy and since I bought other teas along with this, I saved the chocolate for last like a dessert. I could drink this all day lol! :)
