This is very good tea, but not quite as good as the chocolate chip kind.
Great chocolate scent, but it doesn't really come through in the taste. Brewed per packaged directions and it turned out rather weak.
Very rich but not too sweet...I thought it was almost like a less creamy hot chocolate. efinitely a great try
I was afraid to try chocolate tea... I'm sorry I waited so long. I've used this for blending with vanilla (smells like a brownie), strawberry, and peppermint... all are amazing.
Even though I love chocolate, this one was a bit too strong for me but I bet it will be lovely in a blend.:)
This is a nice, sweet tea, but I'm struggling to find the chocolate flavour. It SMELLS amazing, but the chocolate flavour is a little on the small side. Still nice on a snowy day with a little cream and sugar.
Really good, it doesn't really taste like chocolate but it has a nice flavor and was pretty robust.
This actually tastes more citrus than it does chocolate. It smells wonderful, but I don't think I'll get it again. If you love a citrus tasting tea I think this would be up your alley, but that's the one flavor I don't care for in a tea.

This tea isn't the best as a standalone, it has a nice aroma but isn't as sweet as I would like, but if you add 1/3tsp of this to 1tsp of the chocolate chai, you will be in tea nirvana.
This tea is just OK. I would definitely go for the 'Chocolate Chip' flavor if you're looking for something chocolate-like. There just isn't much flavor!
smelled like mocha coffee. I took one sip and tossed it. Would not buy. Would not recommend.
This is a good chocolate tea, but I wish it had a little more chocolate flavor to it!
Not as good as I was hoping for. It tasted almost bland, and smelled like off-brand chocolate syrup. not horrible, but not that tasty either.
This tea is not the best tasting tea. You have to ad a lot of sugar for it to taste ok.
I've been looking for a really good, chocolate-y chocolate tea for a while now. This isn't it. It smells amazing, but it doesn't taste like much of anything, no matter what brewing time I tried.
I was a bit skeptical at first - chocolate tea? - but I'm very glad I tried it. I love chocolate, and this is worth buying. Smells very sweet and chocolate-y, and brews into a nice mellow cup. It definitely isn't an overly sweet tea - how much you like this may depend on how much you like dark chocolate. I will definitely be buying this again and again.

It smelled awesome! And it wasn't bitter like a lot of black teas I've tasted. I've been trying to find a tea that I love, but maybe I should switch to an herbal blend...
This tea has a lovely rich chocolatey aroma, and once it is brewed the paring between the black tea and the chocolate is more subtle and smooth. Very tasty!
Great tea! Nice rich, chocolate taste. I would recommend using this as a flavor enhancer to other teas.
This tea would be much better if it did not have such an odd smell. The taste is very good once you brew it and only needs a little sugar.
Surprisingly awesome for a chocolate flavored tea. It's a real chocolate flavor, not at all artificial. Try it with some peppermint in there as well, you won't regret it!
I used to love Adagio, but recently it has gone downhill. I have rated this tea 'ok', but in reality, I still have not received my tea despite the fact that I should have gotten it days ago. I am not sure that I will order again, it just takes too long go get my tea, I'm sure I can find a more local way of obtaining my tea, just not sure it is worth the effort.
It doesn't exactly taste chocolatey to me, but it's not unpleasant. It's more like a generic black with a very nice scent. For the smell alone, it's nice to grab for comfort, but it's not one I'd overwhelmingly recommend. I felt that Adagio's chocolate chip tea was a superior alternative.
I was offered a free chocolate tea sample by Adagio, so of course I had to buy some other teas with it during the free shipping Black Friday sale! It got here today, and I mixed 1tsp chocolate with 1tsp decaf vanilla and 1tsp cream and steeped it in a paper filter in just boiled water. The smell was great, but it was a little bitter- I had to add 2 packets of sugar.
This tastes better than I thought it would! I'm not an experienced tea drinker, so I usually cannot differentiate between the tea flavors, but I can actual taste the chocolate in this one. It smells and tastes pretty good.
I recently restocked my supply of this tea and found it to be just as rich in flavor as it had before.
This is the perfect cup that gives light distinct chocolate flavor. I make it at night and let it sit with the teabag in the fridge overnight- I love this tea cold!!! Its nice mixed with the almond oolong as well.
Decent blend, but if deciding between this and the Chocolate Chip go with the Chocolate Chip.
It's good mixed with the hazlenut and then with another tea, such as honeybush vanilla. I haven't tried it on it's own though, and will probably order chocolate chip since I'm seeing that people tend to like that chocolate tea better.
I'm not especially a fan of the chocolate tea. It's good combined with other teas, but the smell and taste are so strong that it can be hard to use. I've enjoyed it when I've had it in a blend that I make and it can really compliment some other flavors, though.

Nice solid cup of tea. Tastes a little like tootsie rolls! Great for blending with other teas too (caramel, coconut, vanilla, etc.). Like mine with cream and rock sugar.
This tea has a really strong scent of chocolate, much stronger than the taste. The chocolate taste isn't sweet like a chocolate bar, it has more of a subtle bitter flavor. I like to add some milk to smooth it out and bring out the chocolate taste. This tea is a flavor that grows on you so if you didn't like it much the first time you tried you (I didn't) make sure you try it again.
I was curious about this tea. I wasn't sure about it, but it smells AMAZING when steeping, and it's sweet, and I actually really like it. I'm currently experimenting with mixing.
I wasn't sure how I'd feel about chocolate tea - but I LOVE it. I love to mix it - especially with nutty flavors.
It tastes just like chocolate! I'm not a big chocolate lover but this is a great dessert tea.
The scent is very chocolaty, but the flavor is a little bitter. Milk tempers that, but I think it would be better used in a blend than as a standalone.
If you love black tea and love chocolate, this is the way to go!
Chocolate was okay, but not one of my favorites, maybe hot cocoa flavor could be made. Im a huge hot chocolate fan in the winter But I'd love to replace it with tea. As adagio tea is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!
Added a splash of milk and some Splenda ... very good. I'm looking forward to doing some at home blending with coconut and almond teas.
Very good! A nice, sweet, lovely chocolate flavor. Great blended with the coconut, cream, and hazelnut (separately, of course).
At first, I couldn't really taste much but hot, bitter tea. But once I added milk and sugar to it, I could pick up the chocolate taste more. Maybe it's because I just brewed it earlier, but it almost smells like the TARDIS blend without the berry flavor. *shrug* Great tea anyway.
It was a little bitter for me on its own, but when put with milk and sugar it made a wonderful milk tea.

I love this tea, on it's own it isn't super chocolatey but mixed with other flavors it really shines.
