I still prefer the chocolate chip over the chocolate. But this one is still good :] It reminds me more of chocolate syrup that you put on ice cream.
Ceylon tea and rich dark chocolate flavor. Decadent chocolate liquor texture, brightened by the tang of the Ceylon.

The smell of the tea is wonderful, but the taste let me down. At best, there is a faint taste of chocolate. My recommendation would be to increase the percentage of cocoa nibs in the tea.
doesn't taste very much like chocolate to me, but still good
I had only had the chocolate chip tea in blends before I got this as a free gift. I wasn't a fan of the bitterness of the chocolate chip tea, but this tea is pretty amazing. It takes milk really well and tastes like hot chocolate with sugar added as well. I'd highly recommend blending with a fruit blend from here like strawberry or raspberry :)
Have to say, I'm not a fan. The chocolate is very artificial in flavour. However, the tea smells divine.
This tea is fantastic. Very inspirational. I drink this all the time now.
A great tea for a chocoholic. A very nice chocolate flavor
This was a good coffee. Not as strong of a chocolate flavor that I expected, but it was still yummy. I will probably purchase again.
This was good. Very soft and relaxing when you don't want to feel guilty over having real hot chocolate.
This is very delicious when blended! However by itself it's very easy to oversteep it, making it bitter. Even if I time it to a minimum it always comes off JUST too strong to be pleasant
Smooth taste. Just the right amount of chocolate flavor
good chocolate flavor
try mixing with the raspberry
A pleasant, slightly sweet and slightly tangy (?) cup.
It's a little heavy for my tastes. I think it's better in a blend than on its own.
Nice chocolate smell, with a nice chocolate taste that's not too overwhelming.
This is a very warm, thick tea. It's almost coffee like, without the icky coffee taste. I put honey in mine, but it can be had without. The chocolate flavor is there, but it isn't overpowering, this is not watery chocolate milk!
Interesting, but I think I will stick with classic teas from now on. It does have a subtle chocolate flavor, but it's lost in the rest of the black tea.
Very cocoa-y flavor. Bit plain and astringent on its own, probably better in a blend.
It's okay, kind of boring. Although it is pleasant enough. I like it much more mixed into other teas.
In the bag it smells like cheap chocolate. Once brewed with cream and sugar it tastes like one of those hot chocolate packets mixed with water. If you want chocolate flavor. I'd go for chocolate chai instead.
It's nice. I'm not a huge fan of chocolate teas, but it's very interesting.
A no calorie alternative. I love this tea. You could add a bit of coconut milk if you really wanted to but I like it plain as well.
As much as I love tea and chocolate, I really don't care for this one. The chocolate taste isn't very strong and it has more of an almost artificial chocolate taste, probably because unlike a lot of the other chocolate teas from Adagio it is only flavored with chocolate instead of having chocolate pieces in the tea. If you're looking for a chocolate tea I'd pass on this one and try one of the other options Adagio has.
Nice dark chocolate taste. Milk really helps bring our the cocoa flavor
This tea really surprised me. I couldn't even imagine a tea with chocolate, then a friend introduced me to it and... HEAVENLY! Not only does tea smell great, it satisfies my love for chocolate. YUM
I was not sure what to think when I first tried it.So I tested it twice before writing anything.
First time - light chocolate smell and taste. I enjoyed this tea better cold then hot. 1 teaspoon
Second time - Dark rich flavor had a dark chocolate flavor I think thats what threw me when I made it the first time. I was thinking sweet milk chocolate and its not its dark chocolate flavor.I used a heaping teaspoon this time I enjoyed it much better. I still like it cold better then hot. The chocolate flavor comeS out more when its cold.
I love this tea! It's very tasty and robust! It's desert in a cup!
If you want chocolate, buy the Chocolate Chip instead. Even for blending. Better and stronger Chocolate taste.
I'm not the biggest fan of chocolate tea, so I've really just been using this for blending. It blends quite well, but I'd never drink it on its own.
It is a yummy black tea base with chocolate to sweeten the deal.
The smell is bigger then it's taste. This tea taste better blend with caramel tea.
Especially good if you add chocolate soymilk to it!
A nice chocolatey flavor that serves well as a dessert tea and hits the spot when I am craving something sweet. Also nice with cake or biscuits. Not a ton of depth, but the little chocolatey bits are nice.
Nice blending tea, great aroma!
Usually blend this with a rose or raspberry tea to create a nice dessert tea.
Also makes a good iced tea with the rose blend
Lovely kiss of chocolate in this wonderful black tea. Definitely buying this one again!
Bought this as a present for a family member. They absolutely loved it!
Great chocolate flavor! Great when blended with hazelnut!
This is ok on its own but it really shines when blended with other teas to add that dark chocolate sweetness
I think this sample lasted a week. I absolutely loved the aroma and flavor. The chocolate accentuated the black tea without disguising it- I added a little almond milk to great an excellent alternative to dessert. I will be buying this again!
In general, I find chocolate teas to be disappointing, and this one is really no different. Without sugar, there's no chocolate flavor at all. With sugar, there's a hint of it, but not really enough to be satisfying.
This is pretty good. Not as rich as I had hoped.
This tea was drinkable with milk and sugar, however, the chocolate chip flavor definitely has a superior, richer chocolate flavor.
Submitted review for the wrong tea- sorry! ~
A good tea, but not spectacular. The chocolate flavor is just barely there. Probably won't buy it again.
I brewed this tea exactly as directed and it was very bitter. I think I will give this one to a friend.
This tea was okay by itself, but really needed cream and sugar for me to want to drink an entire pot. I'm unsure if I'll buy this again.
This was okay. Not much of a chocolate flavor up front but the flavor came through with the addition of milk.
I prefer the Chocolate Chip black tea, as it seems to have a richer, sweeter taste. This tea isn't bad by any means though, and is great for blending or a stand in when Chocolate Chip is out! Chocolate tea is something you have to try!
This smells like chocolate Hershey's syrup in the bag.. But when I steeped it, it was burnt and bitter, and just tasted like terrible black tea. I even tried under steeping it- 2 mins at 200 degrees. Still bad and burnt. I feel bad giving a bad review since all of tier other teas are great.
You know that Spongebob episode where there's a guy who just keeps screaming CHOCOLATE over and over? This is pretty much the tea representation of that. CHOCOLATE.
