I could smell this tea before I even opened the package! Its the perfect amount of chocolate.

This black tea has a nice cocoa flavor, that doesn't overpower the rest of the tea. If you like dark chocolate, with a high cocoa amount and black tea, you will love this! I tried this, with and without sugar and it was great. The one negative thing about this tea is that since it has cocoa nubs in it, can get very bitter, very quickly, if left to steep too long. If you leave it for too little time, you can't taste the cocoa, be careful.

Inferior to the chocolate truffle tea, but still a nice sweet black tea.

I have gone back and forth between this and the chocolate truffle tea. I rarely drink them alone, but I blend them with peppermint and cocoa nibs to make a chocolate peppermint tea. This tea has a good chocolate flavor, but I may go back to the chocolate truffle or even plain chocolate next time and add my own chips.

A nice hot chocolate tea substitute. I like to treat myself by adding cocoa, honey, and vanilla extract to turn this into a warm winter treat!

Delicious! Great with milk and with biscotti! A wonderful dessert tea or drink for days you can't decide between tea or hot cocoa!

With just a small bit of sugar, this tea is a delicious fix for a sweet tooth. Very tasty!

awesome - love chocolate teas - not to everyone's taste but definitely to mine

This tastes ok. You get notes of chocolate, which is nice. But this is just from one of the samples. I got a larger bag of another chocolate teas from here after thinking the same thing and you cannot taste the chocolate when you get larger amounts.

Not quite as chocolatey as I had hoped based on the reviews, but still delicious.

Very chocolatey and absolutely delicious! We find ourselves reaching for this one often

Brewed one cup so far at work. Its not fantastic but not bad either. Granted I don't have boiling water at work so perhaps it will be better with hotter water. I just didn't think it had much warmth and flavor. Will try another cup soon.

Very smooth texture and balanced favor. Not overly strong chocolate flavor, but is a nice tea.

Decent tea. I drink this when I want something sweeter than my usual cup. It's not a tea flavor that I crave though and it's a little annoying to clean any melted chocolate chips at the bottom of the tea strainer.

Super yummy. We use this tea for the base in several of our mixes because it goes so well with so many flavors.

I thought it odd that they have both Chocolate & Chocolate Chip flavors here. What's the difference? Well, while they both just taste like chocolate (C.Chip is not like a cookie), they are different. I like this one better (see my review of the plain Chocolate one). Also, the second steep holds up fairly well.

Such a treat! Like drinking a chocolate chip cookie without the calories! It’s not sweet... just rich and flavorful.

This is a wonderful tea that satisfies the occasional chocolate craving and evokes the feeling of an adult hot chocolate. So good!

This is hands-down my favorite flavored black tea. It has a rich chocolate flavor without being overpowering. It smells like chocolate chip cookies and is the perfect way to start my day. It is great for those mornings when you want something comforting and warm.

This tea delivers as promised! It has a delightful chocolate flavor that's not overpowering or overly sweet. It balances nice with the black tea. I've been drinking it in the morning on cooler days after breakfast and it's like having a mid-morning dessert!

Be careful not to oversteep or let the water get too hot though because you don't want to burn it or make it bitter.

I like to pair with vanilla oatmilk for a creamy morning latte.

this was a very enjoyable desert type of tea with not too many choc chips to cause an oily cup. Made it as a tea latte and it was just like a slightly watered down hot chocolate. This may be a new must have tea for me for the winter!

This is probably my favorite tea ever! I really love this and I truly thought I'd hate it. Chocolate tea, I don't know what I expected, some weird combo of hot chocolate and tea I guess which sounded gross in my head, but NOPE. I discovered this one in July with the communi-tea packets and was hooked! First sip and I said 'definitely have to buy this one!' Love love love it!

I love chocolate teas and this is not exception great with cream and honey. Really satisfies a chocolate craving first thing in the morning.

This tea is like eating a Hershey's special candy bar. I honestly didn't think I'd be a fan as I am not a huge fan of chocolate but the chocolate with the tea taste just works, I love it!

Just ok. It's a little bitter and I like teas that have chocolate flavor better.

Now my husbands favorite!!! He loves this flavor and will sometimes also add a cream tea bag in to make it taste, as he says similar to hot chocolate

This is fine, but it isn't my favorite chocolate tea that Adagio offers. It smells chocolatey, but also has a somewhat strange scent that I cannot identify. I've been brewing it with different teas for a mixed flavor. (I've also tried turning the re-brews into hot chocolate, or adding dark chocolate almond milk to it instead of regular!)

This is a great chocolate tea, even for this discerning chocolate lover. Like my tea, I am very picky about the quality of the chocolate I eat. This tea is really good after it cools a bit and with a little sweetened vanilla flavored oat milk.

Other than my favorite local chocolate tea, this is my favorite online chocolate tea. Super delicious, tastes like chocolate without tasting fake/artificial, and it's easy to sweeten to have a more hot chocolate type experience.

I absolutely loved the way it smelled at first: chocolatey and warm. But then it seemed almost like burnt chocolate. It tasted very good when I added a dash of vanilla creamer!
