Dark chocolate chips melt into our citrusy Ceylon black tea for the ultimate treat. Dense and soft chocolate flavor.

I'm not really a fan of chocolate with tea. This blend tastes of a nice dark chocolate and cocoa. Brewing at a lower temperature reduced the bitterness of the tea a bit. I'm sure this would be delicious with sweetener and cream.
This smells like boozy chocolate right out of the packet and the taste is one of the best chocolate teas I have ever tasted!
I'm more of a milk chocolate fan so this tea was made much better with added heavy whip!
Tragically I can't have chocolate anymore but back when I could, this tea was a decadent, delectable treat. With a little milk and sweetener added, it's a dessert in and of itself. Definitely not one to be missed!
Great tea! Enjoy!
This tea is sooooo tasty, I love mixing it with other teas to make it like a treat, like mixing with coconut or cherry marzipan. I love to make lattes out if it as well.
Chocolate flavor is better than some of Adagio’s other chocolate offerings, I think it’s the cocoa nibs that puts it over.
Fun way to enjoy flavor of chocolate with out the guilt. No sugar needed
Very chocolatey. My husband loves it! Works as a multisteep tea.
This tea is delicious and provides a nice lift in the morning.
The chocolate was good, but how can anything not be improved by adding chocolate chips!
I love chocolate 🍫 but this tea taste artificial and bitter to me. I tried it a few times to see if I’d feel different but I don’t. Not a fan of this one.
A tasty dessert tea. Don't forget to rinse your pot out after brewing since the sugar and fat from the melted chocolate chips can sometimes stick and linger a bit.
No matter how I tried to brew this tea, for some reason I just really didn't get a whole lot of chocolate flavor. It does have a light cocoa aroma but once brewed just comes off as a little too artificial for me. I couldn't find any actual chocolate chips in the sample pack I got so maybe I wasn't getting the full flavor. To me it just tastes like a slightly bitter Ceylon tea with some artificial chocolate flavoring . Adding some sugar and cream did help smooth it out, but it wasn't my favorite chocolate tea from Adagio.
Chocolate Chip tea is my personal favorite of the chocolate teas. The richness of the chocolate comes through really well. I ve also found that this flavor is excellent for using in blends.
Very nice, will get when I run out. Or just when I mext buy some more tea.
Just what it says on the tin. What s not to love? This has become one of my favorites for blending with other teas, to get that hint of chocolatey sweetness.
The name fits this tea perfectly. It tasted exactly like eating chocolate chips out of the bag. However I have found that I enjoy the taste of both Chocolate Truffle & Chocolate more than this tea.
As a chocolate tea I find the chocolate chip to be pretty standard in flavor for what I expect for chocolate flavor. I am sure part of it is due to the little chips in it. Being used to making rich black tea liquors to mix little bits of chocolate shavings in for a 'chocolate tea' I would say this is a more mellowed out version of that. That is not to say it does not taste good, because it does, it just does not have that really rich body to the infusion that I was hoping for.
This blend does very well mixed in other teas to offer a little chocolate flavor to them, specifically to black teas infused with berries or milky/cream flavors and especially caramel flavors. I feel like i enjoy this tea blended with other teas more than on its own.
My all time favorite. I could eat this with a spoon. I have reordered several times.
This is a solid, sweet tea. I especially liked it with a little bit of honey, but I also like my teas extra sweet at times. Good for days when I'm craving a little bit of chocolate!
Pretty good, but the sample had only one chocolate chip in it. Otherwise, good. Pairs well with honey and vanilla.
This is such a tasty flavor. It is more in the nose than it tastes like chocolate, but it's a nice afternoon treat.
I LOVE this tea!!! I use 2 tea bags, heavy cream and vanilla syrup to treat myself to a heavenly chocolate dessert in a cup. Thank you ADAGIO
This is a bakery quality cookie taste dark chocolate tea filled with chips that will be pleasing and delightful to the taste, but must not be over steeped to avoid any bitterness from the tea. None the less, worth the trip to the bakery. Enjoy!
Nice high caffeine chocolate tea, and there is something about this that has a bakery quality to it. It somehow tastes a bit like a cookie.
Not a fan of chocolate teas until I sampled this deliciousness. Savory and flavorful!
This tea is delicious! I like it slightly better than the regular chocolate tea. It is great on its own and will surely be wonderful mixed with other things. I <3 dessert teas. I ordered just a sample, but I will be getting a full bag when I run out of the regular chocolate for sure!
I really did not taste the chocolate chips with this one.
Has a wonderful chocolate smell it is like drinking dessert
A favorite in our household. This is a really delicious tea.
Smelled great, but slightly bitter. I usually enjoy my tea strong, but don’t steep this longer than 3 minutes
This smells delicious and is good, though not my favorite brand of chocolate tea. It quickly tastes bitter so I pull it after just a short steep. I do enjoy it mixed with Cream tea! I love the little chocolate pieces in it. Definitely goes well with a lot of desserts.
I love the smooth flavor and the chocolate chips.
i was expecting a stronger chocolate taste, aroma yes, but taste was light. i decided to add a little international delight sweet cream creamer and now i feel like i have a nice cup of hot chocolate with a much lighter flavor which is just wonderful since hot chocolate can be too rich for me
Very good flavor. Not just chocolate. It’s got a bit of maybe cream? Something different, very good. Great with sugar and cream.
Was not my favorite tea I have tried, but was definitely good.
The black tea is good as always, but the flavor is a bit lacking. The addition on chocolate pieces isn't easy to distribute throughout the blend so cup flavor can vary from pretty good to just black tea. Overall a bit underwhelming.
Pretty good. This tea is more silky than creamy. I don't taste as much chocolate in this tea as in the Chocolate Chai and Chocolate Truffle. It is
Love this tea! Perfect for any time of day, but I enjoy it after a meal. Sweet and chocolatey!
This teas was good. I expected more of a chocolate taste, but I still enjoyed it
I primarily use this tea in blends with other teas. While I will drink it alone, I adore it paired with Adagio's cream tea as a sweet breakfast treat.
I love mixing this with the chocolate chai in the morning. It s a bit bitter / weird on its own but adds more chocolate flavor when combined.
Chocolatey but not outstanding. Best of the just chocolate ones
I really love this tea. It's a great pick me up without the calories. I use the whipped chocolate honey and it really brings out the chocolate flavor.
Good, but could be great! For my tastes, the chocolate flavor was not strong enough, and if you add milk and sugar it gets further diluted. OK, but nothing special. Try Chocolate Truffle if you want to get that chocolate fix!
Not as chocolatey as I would like but its still got a nice chocolate taste and is nice and smooth
Did you say Chocolate? It smells amazing. Great if you like strong chocolate dessert teas.
Add a touch of cream and honey (sugar) instead chocolate treat!
If you’re looking for something sweet that isn’t a cookie try this tea! It’s delicious, especially with a little creamer added
