This tea is good by itself but I have actually used it quite a bit to blend with other teas like raspberry, cream and vanilla. Its a great staple tea to have around.
Dark chocolate chips melt into our citrusy Ceylon black tea for the ultimate treat. Dense and soft chocolate flavor.

I am usually a big dark chocolate fan but for some reason this tea didn't jump out for me. It was enjoyable enough but I might try another round and make it a latte? Fun adventure though.
A chocolatey delight! It has a well balanced chocolate flavor. Delicious with sugar and a splash of milk!
Decent chocolate flavor, great with a splash of milk.
I cannot stop with all the chocolate teas!! And I do not plan on ever stopping!!
Makes a fantastic cup of chocolate bubble tea!! Even better with some Godiva.
Very chocolatey and good! I loved this tea. Reminded me of drinking a chocolate bar!
I love chocolate teas and this one is so good! I have greatly enjoyed it by itself or mixed with other teas such as strawberry and caramel. It is especially good with a little bit of cream and sugar. It's even good as an iced latte!
Lovely for a quick but soft hit of chocolate after dinner,
I used this to make my own mexican hot chocolate tea. It did the trick. On its own it's fine.
This one tasted like I licked a stale chips ahoy cookie. Will not be finishing or reordering.
I hesitated about trying chocolate chip, because a lot of reviews were negative. I decided to just try a sample bag, and am so glad I did. The aroma in the bag is so good, that I think I may just breathe it in when I am feeling cranky. The flavor is not heavily chocolate, but the flavor adds in enough to make it brew up to be a rich, solid black tea. I was really happy not to have the tea itself overshadowed. I do drink my tea without any sweetener, so you know I am mostly into a strong tea taste.
This is one of the best chocolate teas on the market.
This is a delicious cup of tea to ease my sweet tooth!
I enjoyed this tea. It actually tastes like chocolate chip cookies! I don’t have it daily but it’s a nice treat.
This is the best chocolate flavored tea I have tried from Adagio. It is smooth basic black tea with chocolate chips and robust chocolate flavor. It does not get bitter or astringent. It mixes very well with other teas to combine flavors. Sometimes though, I just like it alone with heavy creamer and some sweetener and it is like enjoying a cup of cocoa but without the calories. Well, I guess there are calories in the creamer but that is no fault of the tea!
This smells and tastes like dark chocolate. The black tea has mini dark chocolate chips and cocoa nibs. When steeped, it tastes like hot chocolate without all the calories.
Some people might be wondering what the difference between the 'Chocolate' and 'Chocolate Chip' teas are since they sound so similar. I must say, the Chocolate Chip is so much better! The Chocolate tea is a little too artificial for me, but the Chocolate Chip gets all of its flavor from the chocolate chips and cocoa nibs in the tea itself. I added some extra cocoa nibs to mine as well as some chocolate honey and it was decadent! Absolutely delicious! I would highly recommend!
With a little cream and brown sugar, this reminds me of a chocolate chip cookie.
This tea is like someone put some chocolate chips in black tea. It had a nice chocolate flavor without overpowering the black tea.
I am so glad itried this tea because I love it! It makes such a bold, darker chocolate cup of tea with a nice depth of malty goodness. Love it with a little stevia and half and half.
This is a wonderful dessert tea by itself, but I like to blend it with other teas any time of day. Great combinations include chocolate chip and butterscotch, chocolate chip and black cherry, and chocolate chip and caramel.
This flavor is like a dessert in a cup when you open the bag the aroma smells like chocolate chip cookies. I’m having mine with a little milk and no sweetener.
A spot on sub for hot chocolate.. I mixed with caramel for some fun!
Absolutely devine! This smells delicious and tastes even better! Smooth and a nice chocolate flavor. My new favorite!!
Black tea and cocoa fragrance is strong prior to brewing. This is a nice cup of dark tea with a hint of sweetness, due no doubt to the chocolate chips. I am not usually a big chocolate fan, but I enjoyed the mixture of black tea, cocoa nibs and chocolate chips.
I really wanted this to be more chocolatey. The smell is AMAZINg, but I got very little of the chocolate flavor. I think perhaps it's a case of ratios, too little tea to too much water
These are m favorite to drink with milk, they’re like a better version of hot chocolate
nice flavor. Maybe a little subtle on the chocolate flavor. I added a little cream to enrich it.
This was delicious, I added it to another black tea to make a combination. This made it perfect
Very tasty and I can easily taste the chocolate flavor. I did add a tad bit of sugar because I like the sweetness but I honestly don’t think I needed to. Definitely taste like hot chocolate.
Definitely had a nice chocolate taste to it. I’d be curious to compare it to the chocolate black tea to see how much the chocolate chips actually add to the flavor and richness of the tea
Rich, tasty and satisfying! Pair this with your favorite cookie!
I think this lightly chocolate chip teas has a very nice flavor @adagioteas
Delicious treat. Pretty high caffeine apparently. Wouldn’t use as a bedtime drink.
I thought this tea would be a step down from the Chocolate Truffle, but I love it just as much! Yum!
Mildly chocolatey and a perfect cup for something sweet and dessert-like.
I am not sure about this tea. I like the chocolate taste but I find it can be bitter at times. The smell is enjoyable but not my favorite .
This is one of my favorite teas. I had finished my last bag a year or so ago and totally forgot how much that I loved it.
Not as chocolaty as I was anticipating but I do really like this tea. I am awaiting delivery of Chocolate Truffle and am hoping that will meet my chocolate fix, if not, I will be reordering this tea.
I don't think that this is meant for me. The tea itself was of high quality but the end result was something that didn't fit my taste.
I’m not big on chocolate tea or Ceylon. That being said, this was an ok cup. I get a touch of bitterness as it cools. Not sure if that’s the cocoa nibs or the Ceylon.
Makes a great substitute for hot chocolate if you use double the tea and add milk and sugar. @adagioteas
My favorite black tea that I've found. I have at least one cup a day. Strong chocolate flavors and not bitter when only brewed for three minutes.
Tastes like delicious dark chocolate. I add a little sweetener and it's like candy. I also love adding it to the S'mores blend and the peppermint tea.
Excellent chocolate taste! Smells great as well. I highly recommend for chocolate lovers
I love the subtle taste or chocolate. This tea flavor is def one to try.
Update: I keep brewing it cold, because I like it more and more each time. My husband thinks this tastes like chocolate milk, without the milk, and so, finds it off-putting; I absolutely love that about it, though. This is one of my favorites.
This is amazing. Very chocolatey and delicious. The smell was incredible. I did cold-brew it, but I knew as I was doing that it would be better hot. Definitely adding this to my wishlist to try it that way. So much yum!
Mmmmm, a good replacement for hot chocolate, a little sweetener, a little half n half and it s amazingly good. ***Updated 8.21, Palate has changed, now it's just Meh, too sweet for daily drinking
Love chocolate. This one good but like Tiger Eye much better
