One of my favorite flavored black teas. It's great with a bit of milk and sugar. The chocolate is subtle, but definitely able to be tasted!
This had a much stronger dark chocolate flavor than I thought it would have, I was pleasantly surprised. And of course, it smells wonderful.

This is honestly much better than I anticipated. on't expect it to be like hot chocolate, but it's still amazing. It's a great base for other teas and goes great with milk and sugar.
This was much better than expected! I got this as a free sample thinking it was going to be not so great, as most chocolate teas are. This was delicious! Of course, there is a tea taste, but it goes well with the chocolate. With just sugar, it reminds me of a tootsie roll. I added some powdered creamer to it and it really made it yummy! I wouldn't say it is something I would drink all the time, but I think it might be a good tea to mix around with others, definitely going to try it with the coconut tea!
This was not as sweet as I expected but it was good with a splash of milk!
The tea leaves smell very chocolaty but sadly I felt like the tea just tasted burnt. lso tastes a bit bitter like dark chocolate which I liked and felt complimented the tea taste. Wish it did not have the burnt taste or it would be a favorite!
Smells delicious in the bag. Very chocolatey although I swear there's a hint of a caramel taste as well, but maybe that's just me. Not something I'd drink by itself, but good for blends.
I got this as a free sample with my first order from adagio, and I have to say that I'm glad I didn't pay for it. This tea has a really strong chocolate smell - almost too strong, like Hershey's chocolate world or chocolate-flavored lip balm - and it tasted very similar. Now, being someone with the firm belief that any tea is made better with a little milk and sugar, I added some, and the result was a whole lot better. I'll be finishing the sample most likely, but personally it's just not really for me.

Having had a cup of Valentines tea earlier today, chocolate chip is admittedly on the whole a bit...underwhelming. In the bag, the notes of cocoa in the tea are very pleasing but once brewed, the flavor becomes unfortunately a bit muddled. That said, it's not a bad cup of tea.
This is great. I'm someone who usually adds a lot to her tea to sweeten it up, but for this all I added was a little sugar. But you really do need to add the sugar. It takes some experimenting, but once you get it, it tastes AMAZING.

I love this tea so much. Very chocolatey. And you can't oversteep it. It doesn't turn bitter. I think the longer you steep it, the more chocolatey it tastes and smells. I actually bought this to make my own blend as they couldn't make it for me at the time but I couldn't resist popping it in the tea pot. A great tea.

This is definitely one of my new favorite teas. I'm a huge lover of teas on the sweeter side, and this is right up your street if you're the same. It has almost a bit of a rich fruit note to it, probably because of the dark chocolate flavor. It's rich and sweet and perfect for drinking after dinner for dessert or early in the morning for a good start to the day. I like dipping chocolate covered biscuits in it for a extra sweet treat.
I really enjoyed this tea. The only issue is it ends up tasting and smelling more like a coffee to me than a tea. It's a nice smell and it's pretty sweet but I prefer it with a bit of sugar and cream.
Very fragrant in the bag, somewhat too bitter in the cup. I needed a good amount of sugar for this one, but I like my tea more on the sweet side. I think a splash of milk would have done wonders with this. Good overall, but just not my cup of tea. (pun intended.)
It's either not enough or too much chocolate... I can't tell. I think it would be better mixed with a fruit tea than alone.

This is a fantastic smelling and tasting tea. Very creamy! And add a little caramel flavored creamer for an additional treat. Delicious :)

Great way to satisfy a sweet tooth. The chocolate flavor is very natural, and not at all fake-tasting. Excellent with a dash of coconut milk!
This is the MOST AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS tea. Just opening the bag puts you in a state of zen. :)
The only downside to this is that the chocolate chips melt on the first infusion. As long as you're ok with that, or if you're like me and supply your own chocolate chips (ahem), then it's a super blend. I like it much better than chocolate flavored ones.
If you like bitter, dark chocolate, this is the tea for you! I love chocolate and appreciate this tea help relieve my chocolate cravings.
Beautiful tea. The aroma is an experience in itself -- it's delicious but much stronger than the actual taste. The tea is rich, and while you wouldn't mistake the flavor for anything else, it doesn't overwhelm the tea or resemble watery hot chocolate. My guess is that it will also blend well. I look forward to drinking much more.
I love how the tea smells but the flavour is very weak, but if steeped for longer than 4 minutes it gets bitter.
This wasn't as chocolaty as I was expecting, so I was a little disappointed but it's still good.
Really delightful, and if this satisfies your sweet tooth try valentines! Great for upcoming month of love. However, for me, this tea must be steeped precisely or it could acquire a slight bitter taste.
I just love the tiny chips in my tea it makes the cup special. I some times mix this tea with the decaf raspberry or a little strawberry tea for a little variation in the morning. But the warm sweet flavor is wonderful by itself! Yum!
This is an excellent blending tea. On its own, it's just kind of... meh. Like, 'if you want something chocolate flavored, just drink hot chocolate'. But blended is where it really shines, as it adds a delicious creamy note of chocolate without overpowering anything. It's especially good with the hazelnut black tea.

The tea smelled like cough syrup in the bag, so I should have known better than to try and taste it. There was no chocolate flavor and it kept the sickly medicine smell. I don't think I will be trying any more 'chocolate' teas.

This was a good flavored tea. I could detect a bit of an artificial chocolate flavor--which prevented me from it being a 'great' tea--but I would get again.
So I have been stuck on a no/low fat diet for medical reasons and this morning decided to treat myself to the sample of this we got with our last order. Needless to say, the next order we do we are going to need a bigger bag! This hit the spot and soothed every craving I have had for the past 3 months for something chocolate and creamy. This sample isn't going to last very long...
Definitely a dark chocolate chip. Which was good, as I prefer dark chocolate. Reminded me just a little of coffee, though.

I thought the tea was sufficiently chocolate-y but I really don't like dark chocolate so I gave the remainder of my sample to someone who does. My problem, not a problem with the tea.
It actually has chocolate chips in it. Real chocolate chips. Can't go wrong. Wonderful to mix with other flavors, like vanilla, cream or milk, honey, etc.
I love the light chocolate taste. Great with a little milk and sugar.
