Yummy chocolate flavor. Fulfills that urge for chocolate.

★★★★☆

Pretty good. This tea was just what I was expecting. Chocolate flavor = yum.

★★★★☆

not bad. tastess a little bitter sugar needed chocolately yum yum

★★★☆☆

I was looking for a chocolate flavor to combine with other teas. This one is ok - just looses itself when paired with anything else.

★★★★☆

I was apprehensive at first, but it ended up having a smooth, pleasant taste.

★★★★☆

Does what it says on the tin. Very rich chocolate flavor and best enjoyed with milk and sugar.

★★★☆☆

I am not a huge chocolate tea van, but i liked mixing this tea with some others.

★★★★★

I made this with vanilla almond milk for my 12 y/o daughter and she added 2 little chocolate chips to it and it was perfect. I will have to sneak a cup of this for myself when she is not looking!

★★★☆☆

A mediocre tea with a vague chocolate taste. It's not bad, just not as good as I was hoping.

★★★★★

OH - MY - GOODNESS! I cannot believe I waited so long to try this tea! This is by far the best chocolate tea I have tried yet. It's rich, it's chocolatey, it's pure BLISS. I added a touch of cream and a bit of dark rock sugar. I am off to order more.

Like biting into a chocolate chip cookie right out of the oven, this flavor makes you crave the next sip- even when you still have tea in your mouth!

★★★★★

Amazing! I love chocolate and this is just the perfect blend of chips and tea. Perfect on a cold Minnesota night!

★★★☆☆

We got a sampler of this and learned that tea is just not our preferred means of ingesting chocolatey goodness.

★★★★☆

Not as sweet or flavorful as I thought it would be, but not bad with a splash of milk

★★★★☆

Pretty good but if you want chocolate flavor i like the valentines better. The tea mix in this one doesnt have a very strong flavor so you mostly get chocolate.

★★★★☆

I have to say, I like the chocolate tea itself a little more than this tea. And I agree with Amy Z, I think it could do with being a tad creamier. But while it slightly slacks on it own, it makes up for it when it's mixed in with other blends. It's a great mixing tea.

★★★★☆

Too bitter on its own, but it mixes PERFECTLY with honeybush tea!

★★★★★

Yumm, chocolate chip! I really enjoyed this sample, and mixed it with my raspberry patch sample just to try it out!

★★★★★

Really nice flavored tea when you want dessert without all the calories.

This tea mixes well with a variety of fruit teas.

★★★★★

Never thought of chocolate chips in tea but it is an incredible afternoon treat!

★★★★★

Smells incredible. Made me have cravings for hot chocolate. It is really good for blending. I'm excited to do more experimenting!

★★★☆☆

Perhaps my sweet tooth is a bit too far gone and that's why this tea didn't wow me. Sure, it was enjoyable (especially with just a tad of milk and sugar) but the lack of overall chocolate taste was a bit of a bummer for me. I will likely be mixing it with another tea (cream, or caramel, perhaps?) to see if it works better as a blend.

Smells Amazing. This is a gift so unsure of taste but if the smell is hinting at anything this will be an awesome tea.

★★★★☆

This wasn't great by itself but blended with other teas such as the caramel and hazelnut it was outstanding!

What's not to love about chocolate? Stimulating yet comfortable and of course delicious!

★★★★☆

I LOVE the strong but not overpowering chocolatey flavor of this tea! Was so tempted to make a second mug and probably would have if it hadn't been quite late in the evening

★★★★☆

This was a good tea. It reminded me of a soft mocha.

I'm absolutely smitten with this tea.
I was a fan of Adagio's chocolate tea- but as much as I loved it, it was never quite chocolate-y enough for me. The chocolate chip is a bit more akin to Dark Chocolate, and it just smells heavenly.
This is also the only tea that I've bought since the switch to bags, that actually retains it's own smell- the chocolate chip smells amazing in the bag, and there's none of that yucky after-smell the other teas have. I mention this not to beat a dead horse, but b/c the bags make a huge difference. They definitely changed the smell of the teas, and my old stand-by favorites are kind of like strangers now. they smell nothing like they used to, and I switch them straight to tins the moment I get them. It doesn't help- the bags either leech something out or add something into the tea that changes the scent of them forever.
But the chocolate chip has somehow managed to triumph on the bags, and I've already bought a back up bag since first ordering it a week ago- it's that good, and I'm using it in TONS of blends.
I've also noticed it doesn't seem to get as bitter as the old chocolate did if you brew too long by accident. As someone else previously mentioned, the chocolate chips melt with one use, so that doesn't bode well with re-steeping, in theory, but honestly, the tea is chocolate-y enough with out the chips to hold up to an extra steep. I generally don't re-use my tea for 2nd steeps, unless the first round was overly strong, but I don't think anything would be lost if you chose to re-use this stuff. It's really that good.
I brew it for 2-3 minutes, using water that has just cooled back from boiling- this give a good, strong taste, without any bitterness.

This tastes like Valentines without the strawberry. If you like that blend, you'll like this. It's not as chocolatey as one might expect, but it works in a pinch for a craving (especially with sweetener and a dash of milk). Also very nice mixed with the flavored cream black tea.

★★★★★

This may be my favorite of the chocolate teas adagio offers!

★★★★★

Great chocolate flavor, deep chocolate smell. Loved the taste. Would definitely buy again.

this is a good tea, it's alright on it's own, but really shines in blends. I love the bits of chocolate chips in the tea!

★★★★☆

Very yummy and rich. It smells amazing and everyone was envious of it.

This tea is called Chocolate Chip. What more do I need to say?

★★★★☆

Great for mixing. I enjoy it with chai teas or rooibos caramel. It gives a nice subtle chocolate flavors to your other tea. Probably tastes decent on its own as well.

★★★★★

Warm and inviting. It tastes a bit like cream with a warm chocolate undertone that is perfect.

★★☆☆☆

Really did not like this alone, without a lot of help. The smell of it alone is extremely strong. When I made it, I was hopeful that it would lose some of the strength. Nope...I tried it with a dash of milk, to lighten it a little bit. I was smart, and used honey instead of sugar or sugar substitute, to cut the bitterness, and that ended up being a very good idea. I think sugar would have just made it even more overwhelming.

I've liked it mixed in with other teas, but alone, I would never again order this.

Wow! What a strong chocolatey flavor! Smells heavily of milk chocolate and brews just like it smells. Very very sweet naturally.

★★★★★

I was a bit surprised by this tea, it was actually sweeter than I expected! I love how the chocolate chips melted into the tea for a very chocolatey treat.

Sweet enough to not warrant the use of any other sweeteners. Good to mix with other teas.

★★★☆☆

Overall this doesn't make me think 'Chocolate Tea', even with the chocolate chips in it. It was bitter when I steeped with boiling water, so I made it a second time with a lower temp. While it kinda got rid of the bitterness, it didn't really do much else. At least now I know what's making the blends I have with this in it bitter. Very disappointing.

★★★★☆

This tea isn't my favourite, but I still enjoyed it. It's a bit strong for my taste. What I like about it is that the chocolate really stands out in this tea!

★★★★☆

i like 'chocolate' tea better. this seems a bit sweeter

★★★☆☆

A bit too bitter on its own, but I've found it blends well for other creations.

I really like this tea. I definitely enjoy it more than the chocolate flavored tea. It's very sweet and rich, and it reminds me a lot of chocolate milk. If you add milk and sugar, it's heaven. It goes fantastic in blends also

This was my first ever chocolate tea, and it definitely met my expectations. As a lover of dark chocolate, I didn't mind the bitterness. However, I did mix in a bit of stevia and rice milk to make it tastier.

★★★★★

I can never say no to chocolate...now I can drink it without the calories...

★★★★☆

I love 'dessert teas,' and while I've had lots of custom 'fandom' blends that contain chocolate chip, I've never had it on its own before. Smells wonderful and tastes very chocolately, but be sure not to over-steep or it can end up quite bitter. I mainly use this tea to mix in with other like flavors that I am running low on, for a sweet boost.

★★★★★

Fantastic! Super yummy on its own and only gets better with milk. The nibs and chips are a darker chocolate that's on the bitter side which I personally like but probably isn't for everyone.
