This tea smells and feels like Christmas. I was keeping it for myself, but I gave my husband a cup one day with a bit of fresh grated ginger and he loved it.
Perfect for enjoying in front of an open fire on a cool night, in any season. A comforting reminder of the season of giving, perfect to share with a few close friends.

It's Christmas in a cup. Very smooth and creamy! I will definitely order this one again!
A very good tea for Christmas time, especially if you can't really roast chestnuts by an open fire.
This is such an earthy, sweet, rich cup of tea, a new favorite! It feels like a special occasion each time I brew a fragrant cup of chestnut tea. Perfect with milk on a cold snowy day.
A new flavor for me but as with all of the teas I get ... Great !!!
I m not much of a black tea drinker, but I found this very satisfying! The tea base is smooth and the flavoring natural and cozy. I drank it straight but I m looking forward to trying it with a little milk and sugar...hopefully to compliment a cozy winter night in, wrapped in a blanket and reading a book!
Overpowering at first, with an artificial after-taste but over time I've come to really enjoy this Chestnut tea. I have actually used it (sparingly) as a Potpourri.
Adagio Chestnut has a very strong aroma that lingers.
It has a sweet, wet forest / woodsy type of taste / scent and (very) little goes a long way.
I have no reference for what chestnut tastes like, to me this tastes like maple syrup in porridge. Absolutely adore it and will definitely buy more.
This is a very smooth, very enjoyable tea. Especially with a touch of cream and sugar.
The only issue is that I have no earthly clue what a chestnut actually tastes like.
When I opened up the bag it had a moderately sweet nutty and earthy smell. I am a hardcore Hazelnut fan, but this is a nice alternative. I enjoyed this cup with some honey and almond milk.
This tea is wonderful! Everyone in my office has been asking me about it since it smells so good, and it tastes as good as it smells! It's perfect for the holidays, but I think I'll be drinking it year round.
As satisfying as a good cup of coffee. I like it with a touch of creamer.
This is one of my favorite teas on Adagio.com! Perfect tea for a cold day. I find it is perfect with just a tiny bit of sugar, but I also love it plain.
Subtle chesnut flavor. Great afternoon tea with sugar and milk.
A very nice surprise. Didn't think I would enjoy this tea as much as I have.
Best tea in the world! I love this tea and I am never without a ton of it in my cubord!
This tea was absolutely amazing. I realized recently I love chestnut flavoring, so I bought this tea on a whim and couldn’t be happier. I’ll have to get more than a sample size next time.
Smells and tastes delicious. I highly recommend this tea!
THIS IS SO GOOD! And it tastes even better when you steep the teas a second time. I will be buying this again.
My husband and I thought this tea was a bit strong upon first tasting, however as we kept drinking I noticed an almost maple like aftertaste (which was delicious). A simple, but surprising tea. Great for mornings when you need a good pick me up.
This tea is tricky best the Chestnut can get a burnt flavor if brewed too long.
Very subtle chestnut flavor; a nice cup of tea to start the morning. I drink mine with sugar and milk, I think the milk balances the flavor.
Instant favorite. Really full flavor, perfect with a little maple syrup as a sweetener. I'll never accept a Starbucks seasonal drink again, this is infinitely better.
This tea has a very simple flavor profile. If you enjoy winter melon tea, then you'll enjoy this tea as well. It tastes just like winter melon.
This is one of my favorite teas. I do not know how to describe the wonderful flavors that it embodies. It is like no other tea that I have had the pleasure of experiencing. It is a must try...
I prefer Lupicia's green tea chestnut, better than the black tea being used w/ chestnuts. For me, this tastes more burnt, than nutty. Gave away to friend who likes strong black teas.
A nice change to the regular black teas i drink, don't think i would drink this everyday although i did enjoy it, but as a change it's nice. would keep stocked
Very nutty flavor that I like! Very fall type of tea.
this was a delicious tea, I would definitely recommend.
Nicely flavored black tea. The nut flavor worked well with cream and a small amount of sugar.
This is one of the teas I always enjoy. I enjoy drinking it in the morning. The flavor is sweet and mild -- pairs perfectly with a little milk and sugar.
The nuttiness of this tea is not subtle, but it is good. I like it with cream and honey. It is also a great option for blending with other teas that could use a little nuttiness.
Very nutty flavorful tea that still manages to remain plain tea, good for any time
This is an interesting tea. My first cup I added cream and sugar, and honestly it tasted like a respectable black tea, but I couldn't taste any hint of chestnut. I put it in a go-to mug for my drive to work, and after loading up and hitting the road, I took a second sip and wow! What a difference. I suggest letting this tea sit and cool for a minute or two before drinking. The flavor changes tremendously and the chestnut flavor really comes to light. Overall, I enjoyed this one!
Love this tea! Both the aroma and the flavor are winners with me. I also like to make my own blend for a pot using 1 scoop of Chestnut with 2 scoops of Irish Breakfast.
I could smell the chestnut when I opened the bag, but it wasn't really tasted after I made a tea. It's good for milk tea too!
I don't like chestnuts so I put off trying the sample of this i had for a long time and I'm so mad that I did. This is delicious, creamy and sweet with a hint of a cinnamon flavor. Perfect for a cold day.
I was very excited to try this tea based on the reviews, and while I think it's slightly overhyped, I really enjoyed it! I wish the flavouring has less of a sweet edge to it, but it's nice to enjoy with milk.
I loved its rich chestnut flavor plus it fills the whole room with chestnut aroma, delicious
This tea has a little too much of that artificial flavoring quality for me.
This is a medium just okay tea for me. I will not be reordering it. I really liked it at first but the more I drank it the more I stopped liking it.
My all time favorite morning tea. Smells wonderful and lovely texture.
A very tasty, robust black tea. It reminds me of a vanilla black tea I liked as a kid, but with more flavor. Warm and cozy.
Very specific flavor, very delicious but you can't drink it every day. This is sort of a tea that you want to drink when it's tea time with friends, with treats and snacks, not one of those simple taste teas that you drink to start your day. Very yummy!
One of my favorites, the deep aroma is very soothing and it tastes divine.
This is another fantastic nutty black tea. I just sipped my first cup from my sample package and the flavor and aroma exceeded my expectations. It has a dry but rich flavor yet not overpowering. I may even like this better than the Hazelnut Black Tea. Get a sample, you won't regret it.
So incredible! Rich, full flavor. One of the best teas I've ever tasted, and I'm a huge tea snob.
I love this tea! It's very comforting, full-bodied, and enjoyable.
I was skeptical of this tea-I hate anything hazelnut so I did not expect to like this tea. I love it. It has a pretty strong chestnut flavor. It is one of my favs.
Chestnut and I are BFFs. This is a hearty black tea with a great flavor that stands on its own or blends beautifully with other teas.
