If you like chestnut taste this tea is for you. Otherwise ii is ok, but really is not my favorite.

If you have ever eaten Waffle Crisp cereal, you have a good idea of what this chestnut tea tastes like. I happen to love Waffle Crisp so I think this tea tastes great. I've never eaten chestnuts, so I don't know if this tastes like them or not, but it has a pleasant flavor almost like maple syrup without being sweet. There isn't much to taste from the tea leaves themselves but this chestnut flavoring will have me coming back for more.

I wanted to like it, especially with all the nice reviews about it, but I couldn t. It had a strange chemical taste to it that I couldn t shake off. It may have been a bad batch?
Its a strong tea and I needed more sugar than usual for me (I only usually use 1.5 teaspoons of sweetener per 12oz). Its kinda coffee like in its depth and bitterness. I liked it but not loved it. Its just not to my taste.

Not as artificially sweet as the initial scent might suggest. There's a pleasant roasty darkness to this, as well as a definite earthy note. But the faint nutty sweetness balances it out again, and the overall result is solid and satisfying.
I really like this for it's nutty flavor. Good with a little cream and sugar in the morning.
Although a quality tea like all I have purchased from Adagio, this flavor wasn't for me. I found it a bit too strong.

I just bought a 16 oz. bag and made a whole pot full in my VelociTEA. I’m not sure how it will taste as iced tea but right now on this -21 wind chill morning as hot tea it really hits the spot! I originally got this as part of one of the Christmas packages they have. My daughter and I really liked the flavor, so bought more in the tea bag form. The flavor is smooth and pleasing.

I swear this tea is the perfect black tea, at least for my palate! When people ask me what it tastes like, I joke around and say it's like sitting next to an open fire in your comfiest pajamas. The aroma of it is wonderful, it carries throughout the room. It doesn't taste like an ordinary black tea. I do tend to drink this more in the colder months, but even in the summer I'll ice it and add a little extra sugar. The nutty part of it isn't overpowering, and it doesn't tend to be bitter. With soy or almond milk, this is a perfect comfy time tea.

This was a lovely winter tea, with a velvety base flavor reminiscent of the smell of pipe tobacco, (before it's on fire).
I'm not sure what j was expecting but this was a deacent black tea with more of a muted hint of chestnut. Not bad but I may save the rest to blend with something else.
I really liked this! I'm not sure what chestnuts actually taste like but I thought that the chestnut flavor complimented the tea flavor.
