This is now my favorite black tea, I like it better than Earl Grey or Ceylon.

★★☆☆☆

If you like chestnut taste this tea is for you. Otherwise ii is ok, but really is not my favorite.

★★★★☆

Definitely strong taste of chestnut, perfect for colder weather!

★★★★★

This is my every morning tea. I never get tired of the nutty flavor. My husband and I make a big pot of it and share it.

The tea smells amazing when I open the bag, unfortunately the fragrance dissipate after brewing. I was disappointed.

Months after my first cup, I am still extremely impressed with Chestnut. I savor it and the aroma is so pleasing.

★★★★☆

Great seasonal winter tea, I added a little honey to help fill out the nutty, earthy flavor.

★★★★★

Earthy and flavorful. I think I like this slightly more than the hazelnut. Delicious with a splash of milk and honey.

★★★★★

This tea is absolutely lovely--it has a nutty, sweet aroma and a creamy, delicate flavor. Definitely a winner.

I've been drinking this for years now and it remains a favorite.

★★★★★

Went looking for other nut-based flavors after loving the decaf hazelnut cinnamon creme and found this one. Love the smell and taste - reminds me of winter afternoons sitting by the fireplace.

★★★★☆

I wasn’t sure what to expect from this tea, it is a little bit on the sweet side, enjoyable though.

★★★★★

I really like this flavor. I bought it in a sample pack. Then had to buy more in bulk.

★★★☆☆

I hated this. I do not like the chestnut flavor used, and it was very strong to me. My partner thought it was fine.

Amazing flavour, I think this one even beats out my many hazelnut flavoured teas and I LOVE hazelnut.

★★★★★

My favorite tea ever. I m a coffee drinker and this tea helped win me over.

★★★★★

Warm notes on a cold winter's night...or day. And this winter seems exceptionally long. Will definitely order again! Loving the nutty, 'holidays' taste in each cup.

★★★★★

WOW this is a great tea- I love the blend, and the smooth flavor starts and finishes beautifully!

★★★★☆

Very good tea but can easily get tiresome. A good bland mixer.

★★★★★

This has been my go-to morning tea since I ordered it. Great for cold winter mornings.

★★★★☆

If you have ever eaten Waffle Crisp cereal, you have a good idea of what this chestnut tea tastes like. I happen to love Waffle Crisp so I think this tea tastes great. I've never eaten chestnuts, so I don't know if this tastes like them or not, but it has a pleasant flavor almost like maple syrup without being sweet. There isn't much to taste from the tea leaves themselves but this chestnut flavoring will have me coming back for more.

I didn't think I'd like this one, but it has easily become one of my favorite teas! So nutty and comforting.

★★☆☆☆

I wanted to like it, especially with all the nice reviews about it, but I couldn t. It had a strange chemical taste to it that I couldn t shake off. It may have been a bad batch?

★★★★☆

Its a strong tea and I needed more sugar than usual for me (I only usually use 1.5 teaspoons of sweetener per 12oz). Its kinda coffee like in its depth and bitterness. I liked it but not loved it. Its just not to my taste.

★★★★★

This is a awesome tea. The aroma is very nice and the tea is as good as it smells. Highly recommend this.

★★★★☆

Quite a good tea. I’ve been in search of a specific replacement for a chestnut tea I’d had years ago from a little cafe that no longer sells it. This is a close match.

★★★★☆

Enjoyed this tea quite a bit around the holidays. Unfortunately, I never seek it out now that they re over.

★★★★★

A nice flavor. Reminds me of Fall and Christmas whenever I drink it.

★★★★★

Great winter tea. It went great with dessert such as cookies. This is one my favorite teas!

Not as artificially sweet as the initial scent might suggest. There's a pleasant roasty darkness to this, as well as a definite earthy note. But the faint nutty sweetness balances it out again, and the overall result is solid and satisfying.

★★★★★

I really like this for it's nutty flavor. Good with a little cream and sugar in the morning.

★★★☆☆

Although a quality tea like all I have purchased from Adagio, this flavor wasn't for me. I found it a bit too strong.

★★★★☆

I really like this tea but it doesn't evoke chestnut for me, rather a caramel flavor.

★★★★★

My daughter got some of this in a sampler pack as a Christmas gift and shared with me. I think it is my new favorite. Nice nutty flavor but not overpowering. I just bought a 16 oz. bag and made a whole pot full in my VelociTEA. I’m not sure how it will taste as iced tea but right now on this -21 wind chill morning as hot tea it really hits the spot! Love it!

I originally got this as part of one of the Christmas packages they have. My daughter and I really liked the flavor, so bought more in the tea bag form. The flavor is smooth and pleasing.

★★★★★

I'm pretty new to teas, and got a bunch of samples to see what I like. This one was in my top 4!

This one definitely got my nostalgia going; reminds me of the smell of chestnuts roasting on the streets of a small Austrian city.

★★★★★

I absolutely adore this tea! I drink it every morning with milk and tea. The perfect start to a day

I swear this tea is the perfect black tea, at least for my palate! When people ask me what it tastes like, I joke around and say it's like sitting next to an open fire in your comfiest pajamas. The aroma of it is wonderful, it carries throughout the room. It doesn't taste like an ordinary black tea. I do tend to drink this more in the colder months, but even in the summer I'll ice it and add a little extra sugar. The nutty part of it isn't overpowering, and it doesn't tend to be bitter. With soy or almond milk, this is a perfect comfy time tea.

A seasonal flavor that is a must have. It also makes an excellent tea latte.

★★★★★

The smell of this tea lights up my mornings! Perfect for winter.

★★★★★

This was a lovely winter tea, with a velvety base flavor reminiscent of the smell of pipe tobacco, (before it's on fire).

★★★★☆

I'm not sure what j was expecting but this was a deacent black tea with more of a muted hint of chestnut. Not bad but I may save the rest to blend with something else.

★★★★★

I really liked this! I'm not sure what chestnuts actually taste like but I thought that the chestnut flavor complimented the tea flavor.
