Great taste, but a little overwhelming. After a full cup I don't want any more for awhile.
Is it just me, or does this tea have the strangest/most amazing hint of maple syrup? I think that with every sip of it I take. It doesn't taste overly sugary sweet, which is not something I tend to be interested in when it comes to tea. Instead, the flavor is a delicious, chestnutty tea with a hint of sweetness that doesn't overpower the tea loveliness. Highly recommended.

It reminds me of Golden Grahams cereal! Add a splash of milk and it's the perfect breakfast tea. This will be one of my regulars.
This variety came in the Advent Calendar collection this year. Never had one quite like it. The aroma knocks my socks off and the taste borders sweet. Very good anytime tea or as a dessert.
Great strong morning tea, especially with some milk, but still a delicate nutty flavor. Probably the closest I'll ever come to a morning cuppa joe! 😉

One of my favorite black teas! Warm and nutty, it is offers a nice, full-bodied flavor. Unlike some flavored teas, the chestnut flavor does not disappear with the second steep. A little milk or cream is a nice add.
Overall good flavor, not too strong. Just don’t think it is my taste in tea. Will certainly finish the sample I bought.

Someone said this tea tastes like what your younger self had hoped coffee would taste like. I don't know why, but that feels like the perfect description. It's deep, nutty aroma is enveloping, and it smells of a sweetness without being overpoweringly sweet. I look to this as a comfort tea, for times when I need a wake-up while I just snuggle down with a book.

I drink this tea almost everyday. Cannot get enough of it's rich, bold, crisp flavor. I usually sweeten with a little honey, but plain it's rich and satisfying too.

Many years ago, I purchased a 1 pound bag of Chestnut and finished the entire bag. It was my favorite. It's still tasty, slightly nutty, but gets bitter when you use too much tea or steep for too long.

This tea tastes exactly like Quaker Oat Squares cereal, just not sweet! When my daughter told me this, I ordered immediately and when I received and tasted, I immediately agreed! Delicious.

I like strong tea with sugar. This tea has enough flavor but not too much so I can skip the sugar because there is no bitter bite, even when I oversteep it. This is the first tea in 20 samples I have bought a pound of. Trying to wean of sugared Lipton and Bigelow Vanilla Caramel...this is a great stand in for me.
Yummy! Very nutty tea. Strong smell out of the bag. However, I'm not sure this is a tea I would get regularly. I think I prefer a simpler english breakfast tea, but fun as a sampler!
This tea has a nutty taste. Sweetened almond milk added to the richness of the tea.
A new favorite. Originally tried it in a holiday gift tin. The nutty flavor is wonderful. It's a pretty caffeinated tea, so if you're sensitive, don't drink it at night unless you need a strong boost of energy.

I actually have no idea what chestnuts really taste like :) but the smell of this tea is absolutely delicious, and almost like maple syrup. The taste is sweet and nutty in a way similar to almond. It’s totally scrumptious with a little bit of sweetened creamer. I immediately ordered a full pouch after trying my sample!

This is a tea that has a surprisingly close smell and taste to a maple syrup sweetened tea. Is so sweet you can even have it without a sweetener, but I enjoy a bit of honey in it.

As with Mambo, I found this tea too smokey-sweet. I prefer a tea that is bold almost to the point of harshness. (I use lots of goat milk in my tea, so I need a tea that balances that and stands up well to the addition of a lot of milk.) Again, it's up to your personal likes/dislikes.

I thought I'd only want to drink this tea around the holidays, but I'm planning to buy more to keep me going through the winter. Sweetened with a little milk and sugar, it reminded me of drinking the tapioca bubbles in bubble tea.
This tea is amazing. I put a little brown sugar and almond milk in it and it tastes like christmas in a cup
