So far this is the most flavorful of the flavored black teas I've tried. You can smell the caramel as soon as you open the bag (I got the sample size) and the tea tastes like caramel candy with a backdrop of smooth black tea. Lovely!
I was hoping this would have a slightly stronger caramel flavor since I want to use it for blending. However, it's just the right strength for drinking this tea on its own.

Delightful smell, and a perfect addition to so many black teas for a hint of something a little more decadent.
The caramel smell is really strong, and I've found that leaving it in my mug at work makes for a really strong almost coffee flavored tea, which I don't mind at all. I haven't tried it with milk or cream yet but it's on my list.

Has a great scent. The taste/aftertaste is excellent. Has just the right amount of caramel but is not overwhelming. I am going to see how well this works in other combinations!
It has a nice smooth body to it. I honestly bought it to mix with the Chocolate Chip tea. So fan, freakin' tastic!
Incredible all on its own, very tasty and very sweat. I don't usually add sugar to my tea and I defenetly didn't need to as sugar to this one. Delicous and relaxing :)
seriously a great tea, the caramel is great for a relaxing day home and wasn't overly sweet!
It isn't as wonderful as I remembered, or maybe they changed it a bit. It tastes a bit like maple syrup (and not like caramelized sugar). It's still really good with milk and sugar, but it isn't my absolute favorite tea.

Good as a mix. I have tried it with peach oolong, and Almond as a mix. Alone it is good as well with gentle flavors for a dark. I was afraid it would be a bit strong because of the smell, but turned out fine. Even when steeped twice.

the smell in the bag reminds me of brown sugar/maple syrup! it's fairly strong, but not overwhelming. however, the smell and taste of it is a lot more mellow when it's brewed. a pleasant cup, and it's great for blending with other teas too!
After brewing, my office area smelled of lovely caramel! This is definitely one I'll be purchasing again!

Honestly this stuff is really good for black tea. I thought I'd bought rooibos caramel, but I'm not even really disappointed that I didn't!
Smells amazing, but the caramel flavor isn't as strong as I hoped it would be.
I've tried other caramel teas before and found that the flavor just doesn't match the incredibly pleasing smell. The aroma of this tea is amazing and while it is more flavorful than the ones I've tried before, it personally lacked a strong caramel punch. However, I mixed it with some Adagio English Breakfast and found it added an enjoyable subtle sweetness.
This tea is too much for me on its own, but I like combining it with other black teas to add a subtle richness that only caramel can provide.
This is a very smooth black tea with a bit of caramel flavour. I would have personally liked a stronger caramel flavour, but it is still a great tea.
The flavor in the caramel black tea is much stronger than the caramel rooibos, but resembles caramel less so. I do prefer this one, however. A nice and creamy dessert tea.
I enjoyed this flavor. I got the taste of a dark caramel. Be careful with how long you brew though because it can taste burnt if brewed for too long. Overall, I really like this one.
My favorite blend with this tea is to brew it with cream tea, and a pinch of cinnamon tea...or caramel, cream and vanilla teas. Yum!
Great stuff. Perhaps caramel isn't the perfect title for it, but I'd be hard-pressed to think of something better. While there's enough caramel flavor to justify the name, there's a good bit of brown sugar-esque flavor (almost close to a maple flavor) to it to make it seem like something more. On top of all of that, the sweetness of the tea feels quite natural rather than an artificial, candy-like flavor. Seems like it would blend quite well.
Way too much sugar for me, but if that's your thing: it smells like desert in the pouch! I find it good with the Cream tea when I have one of my rare sugar cravings.
