I didn't like this one by itself, it was too strong. But I like to blend it with other teas (almond, chai, etc)
Bright Ceylon black tea accented with caramel. Rich dark aroma, molasses notes. Decadent cup and brown sugar finish.

I didn't like this one by itself, it was too strong. But I like to blend it with other teas (almond, chai, etc)
The actual caramel flavor is mostly in the background. A good thing if you aren't into sweet drinks, if not then sugar or honey bring the flavor to the front.
It's fun to mix with chocolate teas, like chocolate chip or chocolate chai, but make sure to add sugar to it for it to taste like caramel. Using caramelized sugar also brings out the flavor.
Not the worst I have had but not the best ether. Mixes well the apple!
The smell is amazing and the taste matches. I have used this tea in several blends I have created, but I really enjoy it as a stand-alone tea as well!
A bit too sweet, but good blended with other black teas. Definitely does not need sugar
Received this as a sample. I'll be ordering it with my next order. I put a bit of non-fat condensed milk in it to really bring out the smooth caramel flavor. I usually mix it 50/50 with english breakfast, and the caramel still shines through.
warm, creamy, caramel flavor. Great basic flavored tea, not complicated.
The flavor is lovely, but can get too strong/sweet--cloying--if brewed too long or if too much tea is used. If used judiciously, excellent as a breakfast tea with sugar and milk.
This was a free sample as suggested by Adagio, and it was well-suggested. I already thought, when I saw that it was available, that it would likely taste good. I was absolutely enraptured by the Tiger Eye tea which is very similar, but I believe has cocoa nibs (see my review for further detail on my experience with it). This caramel tea has a very smooth taste like the Tiger Eye, but without the sort of 'coffee' character that I found present in the Tiger Eye. It isn't actual coffee (I'm fairly certain), but the smell and taste of Tiger Eye is coffee-like, whereas caramel lacks that character. Nevertheless, this isn't the same as tasting like 'something is missing', as it is quite distinct and important in its own way. I like the smoothness of this tea!
It smells great, it tastes great. I was in love at first sip.
This is one of my favorite teas from Adiago. It's got a nice caramel flavor without being overpowering. I drink it with a little milk and sugar - yum!
What it says on the tin, pure caramel sample. Sweet, but not overwhelmingly so. A great ingredient.
This has to be my favorite tea! It is enough to satisfy my dessert craving! I made it into iced tea.
Great caramel flavor that stands alone or complements Almond and chocolate chip. No need for dessert tonight.
great taste - this is a very good tea. Caramel flavor really comes through
It was ok. Nothing I would ever buy again but it might be worth a try.
One of the best ones I've had! Great flavor. Good with honey or without.
I love this flavored black tea. It has a warm, mellow flavor and tastes incredible with a little honey!
brown sugar, mocha, coffee!
real emphasis on mocha.
this was amazing!!!
i get the sweet caramel for sure but i can't stop thinking of a mochaccino!!
coffee/mocha/caramel are really pleasing to my taste buds and i was not expecting all that to come from this tea! what a pleasant surprise.
smells like mocha coffee syrup. and the best part...you can also taste it! the 'caramel' flavor translates to the tea very nicely, and of course i had to add brown sugar and soy milk. what a heavenly cookie. mercy!
Nice light and smooth flavor. Good for an after dinner tea.
Delicious with a little bit of sugar. A great dessert tea.
Like eating straight from your grandparents candy dish.
If you like sweet caramel, then this is a great tea, especially for afternoons when you have a moment to relax and enjoy it!
This is a really good tea. I think after trying so many amazing blends on here, just caramel is kind of boring now. :)
Lovely pairing of caramel and black tea. Excellent with or without milk.
The caramel tea was so much better than I expected. Often times flavored teas have that unnatural taste, but this was pleasant.
I only clicked 'great' because 'perfect' wasn't an option. Absolutely WONDERFUL tea. When I opened the bag and sniffed it, the caramel aroma was really strong! It was not quite as strong while steeping, but definitely still there. Tastes perfect, a perfect balance of caramel and black tea.
This tea is ok but is very strong. Almost like coffee. I got it for our daughter thinking that it was like harney and sons paris tea but it was not. It might be good for someone who likes a stronger brewed cup.
Im learning that Im not a fan of the darker teas but if I were Im sure I would have rated it higher.
Husband got this tea as a sampler to try mixed with the chocolate. I thought it was overwhelmingly sweet and did not like it at all. I, personally, will not order this one again. However, Husband liked it, so it gets an 'ok.'
I was experimenting with black tea and found this to be okay but realized I love green teas best!
Strong smell of caramel in the pouch which translates to a slight taste in the cup. Just enough sweetness so I don't have to add any sugar.
This was an okay tea. I mixed it with some of my assam and ceylon and then I liked it a lot better.
Personally, I find the caramel flavor a bit too strong on its own, but I really like it mixed with other teas!
I love this on its own, or I mix it with Masala Chai and Pumpkin Spice. Delicious!
I love drinking this tea with a little milk and sugar. The only thing that I wish was that the caramel flavor was a little more obvious. It was more of a light after note. However, it is still a good tea that I drink often.
I love the aroma! Best with some milk and sugar. A great bedtime sip or cold afternoons.
I like this one for an evening tea to help settle my sweet tooth. The caramel flavoring is just perfect and makes me think I've actually eaten the candy without being to sweet.
tastes just like caramel. rich flavor, good for mixing
A very good and powerful tea! It packs a whallop just by itself, but I find it most delicious when put with Irish Breakfast and Cream teas in the same cup, brewed just before boiling and for about five minutes.
This smells wonderful and tastes just as good. I add a bit of cream and sugar to this, but it's also good plain.
I wasn't sure what to think of this tea at first, but I do like it. It's not as great as some of their other flavors, but it is good. Worth a try.
Really nice balance - the caramel flavor isn't overwhelming
I was looking for a sample of something to drink with my husband after dinner. He loves Caramel so I thought we'd try it. The nice aroma hit me as soon as I opened the bag. This tea is smooth and sweet without being too sweet. Great way to satisfy my sweet tooth. My husband was impressed as well.
This was one of the very first teas I tried when I first joined Adagio, and I am so glad I did. The caramel flavor is amazing. This will definitely be a tea I enjoy in the Fall and Winter.
The carmel is excellent to add to other adagio flavored teas, giving them a smooth, creamy texture.
Has a very real, satisfying caramel flavour. I found it best with some sugar and cream. Comforting and familiar, this is definitely a nice tea to have on hand when things are getting just a little too hectic.
This tea helps curb cravings for dessert! It's especially good blended with a fruity black tea like raspberry.
The aroma is sweet and strong but the flavor is relatively mild. Blends well with almond flavored teas
