I really enjoyed this tea. It's perfect with a splash of milk and a pump of honey. I enjoy this far more than the rooibos caramel.
Bright Ceylon black tea accented with caramel. Rich dark aroma, molasses notes. Decadent cup and brown sugar finish.

I really enjoyed this tea. It's perfect with a splash of milk and a pump of honey. I enjoy this far more than the rooibos caramel.
Like people before me have said, the caramel taste in this tea is very subtle. Steep for a few extra minutes to really bring out the caramel, otherwise it tastes like plain black tea.
EDIT: Since I wrote this many years ago, Adagio has stepped up their game and made a wonderful caramel tea out of this. This is a must-try now! One of my absolute favorites on the site.
Unusual flavor that makes for nice afternoon tea.
The caramel didn't come out nearly as nicely as I'd hoped. So much of the caramel taste is sweetness and butter and that just didn't translate to the tea
I like this tea on its own and also mixed with other tea (like vanilla).
This tea is good on its own or blended with Pumpkin Spice. It gives a very warm and rich taste that is perfect on a chilly fall day.
A delightfully warm flavor that satisfies a caramel craving.
This has become one of my very favorite 'breakfast' black tea's. The slight flavor of caramel is brought to the surface with the addition of two of my most highly recommended additives, coconut palm sugar and about two ounces of vanilla soy milk. A great morning flavor, 'Wake me up' if you are someone that likes something lightly sweetened in your morning mouth. This one will most certainly awaken your taste buds. I most highly recommend this tea to any caramel lover.
This tea is very sweet, a little too much on its own, but I cut it with some huneybush vanilla and it was nearly perfect.
This was ok. It was a little more toasted than I would have liked, as I prefer a more smooth caramel taste. Not bad though.
Nice caramel flavor. Not too artificial tasting or overpowering.
The caramel scent is overpowering when you open the package, but the tea has a light caramel flavor. Good black tea.
This tea is sweeter than I expected, though not in a bad way. I would recommend against adding sweetener, and would recommend adding a bit of milk or cream to mellow it out.
Retried this caramel and did not over brew it this time. Added some sweetener and couldn't get enough of this. I wish the caramel flavor was a little more pronounced but it is a good tea. I have tried this and the rooibos caramel and both are good. I purchased the sample size and the 6 oz size of this and will have to share with my fellow tea enthusiast, my sister. She will love it!
This is a straight black tea like oolong, with a bit more astringency to it, with some caramel flavor to it. It's best brewed lightly and with a little milk (add the milk to your cup before the tea though- it actually does make a difference in the flavor). While not obviously caramel from the start, it builds up on the tongue as you go, and it makes a great evening tea.
i really liked this tea. one of my favorite flavors of tea and coffee is caramel
Very strong, so you don't need to use a lot of this stuff. Delicious to add to teas that don't have a lot of flavor initially, but go well with milk.
This tea has a slightly sweet taste and definitely reminds one of a sweet kettle corn that has had a bit of caramelly topping drizzled on, but it is best when blended with other teas, such as berries or cream. A yummy combo is cream, caramel and blueberry.
I LOVE THIS TEA! I don't think it is available anymore. That is a shame.
I love caramel in the first place, but drinking it is almost better!
Tasted like cherries wonderful flavor totally good
Yummy! Great on it's own or used in a blend. I mixed this with cream and blackberry and it was wonderful.
I love this tea! I never drink it alone, but mixing it in with my typical Irish breakfast or some apple does wonders and adds a nice creamy taste.
Love this iced, even though its getting cooler! It'll be amazing warm with a little bit of milk and honey!
Smells a little funny, but is a very nice tasting tea. Not too overpoweringly sweet, but it is a sweet/sugary tea. Nice as a breakfast tea or just a nice tea for the fall/winter season.
This was amazing! Might be my new favorite! Definitely going to be ordering more as my sample size is already nearly gone.
As someone who ordered a bunch of teas to try and find a tea I liked, I can say that I was super excited to see one caramel flavored, because that's my favorite. I knew that since it's tea, it wouldn't be exactly like caramel, but... it still wasn't close enough for me. I tried it with varying amounts of sugar and honey, but I probably wouldn't buy it again. But it was drinkable, which is saying a lot for me as a previous tea-hater.
This wasn't my favorite -- the flavor was a bit too strong for me.
Very nice tea! Lovely caramel tones, and wonderful to drink on a cold day.
very smooth light taste, like to mix with cream for a very nice taste.
Great smell. I blended it with cream and hazelnut and drank it cold with cream and sugar. It was like a coffee.
smooth taste. Loved the smell of the caramel in my tea cup
creamy with just the taste of caramel you look for. No cream and sugar needed. This tea is even great iced.
This is a tasty tea with a rich caramel flavor. It makes a nice change.
Wounder flavor and aroma. Blends very well with the Cream Tea and the Vanilla Tea.
I have to say great, my baby sister order 2 packages of the loose tea. She's been drinking it every morning although she has other favors. She loves it.
Smells like heaven in a cup. Tastes...OK, but after the smell, the taste was a little underwhelming. It wasn't bad though, especially with some milk.
Very tasty... too sweet at times, might be good to mix a small amount with another basic black tea to give a small hint of caramel. Still very good to have on it's own.. but powerful.
I got this as a free sample, and I plan on buying more. It tastes great with a bit of sweetener.
Perfect for a (mostly guilt free) sweet treat when I'm craving it.
I didn't really tast the caramel in this one.
I got a sample packet of this tea and decided to mix it with one of my favorite teas, Hazelnut. The combination was delicious! I will definitely purchase a regular quantity next time so I can try it by itself rather than combining with another tea.
Smells great, not much of a caramel taste that I could detect. Not for me, I'm finding I'm not a black tea fan much.
This tea is good on its own as well as combined with other teas, namely vanilla and chocolate chai. It has a relatively strong caramel flavor.
I can drink this with no milk or sugar and still taste the caramel. Smells delicious in the bag. I'm sure it will be even better when sweetened.
Like many of the other flavored teas caramel sounds a lot better than it tastes. I was hoping for actual bits of caramel but instead it had 'natural caramel flavor'. Much like the chocolate flavored tea caramel has a slight aftertaste of caramel and not a strong caramel flavor. If you really want caramel flavored tea try throwing some caramel in regular black tea and see what happens.
This was delicious! It's the sort of tea that is good to mix with other teas, more so than on its own.
Super tasty tea really hits the spot! Enjoyed it both cold and hot!
I was not expecting much from this tea because most of the flavored teas are a miss for me, but this was good brewed at three minutes in the ingenuiTEA. Smooth flavor that was well balanced. Not overwhelming and not too subtle.
I wasn't expecting much honestly, but this tea is pretty dang good with a bit of sugar and milk! It goes well with gingersnap cookies, too!
