Love the little candy cane pieces in this tea. There is no reason to add sweetener cause its already sweet.
This wonderfully smooth, minty treat that will fill you with a warm Christmas spirit and leave you jolly. There's no need to wait for a visit from Old Saint Nick to enjoy this yuletide favorite.

Love the little candy cane pieces in this tea. There is no reason to add sweetener cause its already sweet.
This tea was an unexpected delight. I originally purchased to have a mint to offer guests, but didn't think it would make my favorites. I was expecting a peppermint tea, but it's a bit sweeter than that, like an actual candy cane the peppermint is soft not at all overwhelming.
Simply a holiday time dream. I mix woth earl gray moonlight
Gave this to my grandmother for a present and it is her absolute favorite
There’s nothing fresher than sparkling peppermint in a warm cup on a cold day, love it!
*Intensely* minty. The black tea emphasizes the bitter elements of the peppermint so it tastes like pure peppermint leaves steeped way too long. Not for me at all, but my sweetie (who likes intense experiences) absolutely loves it.
This had a 'too thin' taste and was not as 'candy-like' as I was expecting. Not much candy cane flavor. It's always good to try new teas. Some will like this. It was just not for me.
This tastes so good. My current favorite among my teas.
I really like peppermint flavors. This tea had mild peppermint flavors but enough to bring it out and enjoy it. I brewed this one at a lower temperature to keep the bitterness away.
Good tea will buy again. Love it !!!
The loose leaf smells the most strongly of peppermint, and tastes how it smells but with that sugary hint too.
I first had this tea in a trail bag and knew I had to have more. The rich flavor of mint mixed with delicious tea is amazing.
This tea has a delicate mint flavor that was delightful.
So good, a classic holiday flavour and so yummy. This was a great tea for Christmas time a new favourite for sure
If you like a peppermint flavored tea this is it. It's not overpowering but the mint flavor is there. I often have it as a dessert tea after dinner.
This is a simple holiday tea. Flavor is not overpowering or overly sweet. Terrific for holiday guests that wouldn't usually drink teas, but just happen to be at the home of a tea aficionado. Flavors are strengthened with just a little bit of sugar.
Just like eating candy canes but without the sugar
It must just be my tastes but this one has a weird flavor/aftertaste for me. I expected just a peppermint tea I think. This has that odd cream/caramel/cookie flavor added. It's in many of the other teas I don't particularly enjoy. It does have some peppermint flavor which is good. I need to figure out what that flavoring is and just stay away from it. if you like that and peppermint, you'll love this one.
Very pepperminty! I would definitely only do the recommended 3 minutes and 1 teaspoon. We left it longer than that one time and it was too strong to drink without diluting it a lot. Definitely a candy/vanilla mint taste and not herbal mint.
Welcome flavors on a crabby day. :-) I had this one during the advent calendar and enjoyed it so much it prompted me to order more. More complex than one might think. Not bitter at all with pleasant notes of peppermint candy although I did not see any present. Will be ordering this again. Intrigued to try it iced?
Tea bags are strong, easily makes 2 cups. Peppermint Flavor is nice, but could be stronger. No candy cane pieces really. Great tea.
I was impressed by the complexity and richness of the flavors in this. It is not 'just another peppermint tea.' It is undeniably minty and refreshing, and yet its power lies in gentle persuasion rather than an in-your-face (or in-your-palate) all-out minty onslaught. Very probably the smoothest, most well-balanced peppermint tea I've ever enjoyed.
A solid black tea, with mild peppermint flavor. Decent, but nothing exceptional; it is exactly as one would expect from the description.
This is my child's new favorite. She loves this, we got to sample it in the Advent Calendar and that night I had to buy more.
The peppermint flavor was a bit too much for my personal tastes
Perfect for the holiday season, with a nice warm peppermint aroma and taste.
This refreshing, balanced cup set thr stage perfectly for the holiday.
I had this as a free sample last year, and I had to buy a bag for Christmas this year! The combination of peppermint and vanilla is so delightful - great as a sipping tea, out of this world as a latte! @adagioteas
I was expecting to love this one, as I really dig crunchy/crushed up bits in my tea (big fan of texture and visual punch!) The peppermint flavor was good. However, there was this buttery, fake-popcorn taste that I was not digging in the least. Maybe the cream flavoring? I don't know. Anyway, I would not buy this one again. For a good black tea with crushed up candycanes, I much prefer Jeff's Cocomint. :D
I wouldn't say this tea is awful, just disappointing. When I think of candy canes, I think peppermint and this wasn't peppermint.
The perfect winter tea! This is a smooth sweet peppermint rather than herbal. It's not too overpowering either. If you like David's Tea 'Santa's Secret', this is the BETTER Adagio replacement.
Fabulous Christmas blend! This has become my go-to tea first thing in the morning this month!
I love this! It has a surprisingly creamy scent and flavor I can't quite place, but it's wonderful with the peppermint.
This is truly one of my favorites. The bits of candy cane makes it so delicious. @adagioteas
Bright minty flavor, cools and warms with sweetness and zing .
Such a rich and bold candy cane fragrance! It even opened up my sinuses and made my nose tingle from having such a strong peppermint presence. Best enjoyed with your choice of sweetener and milk/cream. Wonderful tea!
It's good, but not quite great. Definitely a nice peppermint base, but if you're expecting a hot cup of candy canes, you may be disappointed. It lacks their sweetness, and the way the peppermint interacts with the Ceylon creates some light background notes that I can't quite put my finger on (licorice? coconut?). I was put off by the smell when I opened the package, but once the pot was steeped and my cup-full hit drinking temperature I found it to be quite nice. My fiance reported the same thing, and said her addition of a little cream smoothed everything out nicely.
Yep, that’s candy cane! I’m a fan, so I like this. But it’s still a cup of tea, and not as sweet as actual candy, thankfully.
The smell of this packet is absolutely amazing, and holds true to the flavor. There is both peppermint and spearmint in this one, which I think makes for a balanced minty flavor. I am so happy I got to taste this tea, and will probably be buying a bag soon.
I'm not a huge fan of mint, so this isn't exactly my cup of tea. But I do think it makes for a more full-bodied cup of mint tea than just plain peppermint or spearmint. And the candy cane pieces are a cute touch!
I love this tea it's really good it's literally Christmas in a cup!!!
I love all things peppermint and this is no exception! Deliciously minty with a hint of creaminess. Yum!
This tea was a great balance of mint and tea. The mint was refreshing with a burst of flavor that faded quickly after sipping. As a few of the Adagio mint teas I have tried seem to hang on the palette forever, I really appreciate the hit of flavor that quickly faded. An enjoyable cup as-is, this one also seems like it would be flexible to blends and add-ins. Chocolate anyone?
The candy cane tea is my utmost favorite tea!!!I wish they carried it year round. I buy a large bag to get through the year!
This might be my favorite mint tea I've tried so far. I like the sweetness of the candy and the minty chill it leaves in my mouth after. The black tea is mild and the candy cane is strong (in a good way).
I’m not too much into mint but my kiddos loved it!
Makes a nice ice tea, not particularly inspiring hot
This was a tea that woke up and said “I’m going to punch you in the face with candy cane and it’s going to taste accurate. It’s going to have caffeine. And you’re going to love it” and the tea was right
Happy Holidays! This blend is bringing you lots of cheer and tidings of great joy! The candy cane flavor and pieces and peppermint leaves make for a minty holiday treat in your cup. The ceylon is a nice platform for these flavors as it does not steal the show. The mint shows through loud and clear! Stuff a tin of this in your favorite elf's stocking and let the holiday sipping begin. Happy Sipping!
100% tastes just like candy canes. I added some cream and sugar, and its spot on flavor wise!
