This one is interesting - it truly is like a candy cane, but it's more like an afterthought. There's this nice cooling experience after each sip (much like the feeling you get when you have a candy cane with hot chocolate). It's not a favorite, but I can see myself craving during the holiday season.
For me the peppermint leaves overpowered all of the other flavors, I could detect mild undertones that would have been very nice if I had been able to taste them over the powerful peppermint leaves. Having said that, this did make for a really great peppermint tea, just not as 'candy cane' flavored as I had hoped.
This was a pretty good tea around Xmas. Smells great and you can literally see the candycane pieces in it.
I don't usually like minty teas, but I got this as a sample and I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I steeped it for 3 minutes at around 180f, and added a large spoonful of local raw honey.

The aroma of this blend is wonderful! I had my cup with cream and sugar. I first tried without sugar, but I didn't find it overly sweet like some reviewers. I could taste the candy cane flavor and it was very good. No bad aftertaste or bitterness from my cup. Recommended!
If you aren't a huge fan of peppermint, but want that minty refreshing taste, this is it!! It's light and delectable :)
This is a pretty good tea, something I'd be willing to buy again. I do wish the mint flavor was a little stronger, because the bitter black tea flavor is a slightly off putting.

This is, hands down, my favorite Adagio tea blend. Steeping for longer than the suggested 3 minutes does create a tea with a somewhat sticky sweetness - however, oversteeping the tea and mixing with equal parts cold water or ice creates a really pleasant iced tea (I prefer this to naturally cooling the normally steeped tea). All in all, the crisp, minty flavor of this tea is superb. This one is definitely not just for the Holidays!
OMG!, I love a good mint tea anyway, this one is super smooth with a bit of creaminess!! I blended with parts candy cane parts chocolate, 1 part honeybush vanilla. dore!

I ordered this last month in December along with a few other 'holiday' teas to celebrate the special time of the year with my own little obsession that is boiling dehydrated, flavoured plant leaves. As other reviews have stated, this tea indeed goes above and beyond the typical artificial peppermint flavour. It has a creamy mint taste that is distinct to candy canes. A very impressive blend indeed. I enjoy drinking it after meals to give my mouth a clean feeling.

There's definitely a distinctive candy cane flavor to this tea - a creamy vanilla-like mint. It's a soothing and sweet treat that clears my sinuses a bit when I smell it so I like to have it on hand when I have a cold or want something out of the ordinary.

I had received a free teabag of this two Christmases ago when I ordered the holiday gift set for my mother. I remember that I had enjoyed it and was really glad to find that I could buy candy cane tea on its own rather than having to get the set!
Normally, I really don't like minty teas, but the candy cane was excellent- not bitter with a minty aftertaste like I had always tried before. The candy cane was sweet, like minty vanilla, and the mint wasn't really overpowering. It's amazing when stirred with a Hershey's Candy Cane!
i love this tea! tastes just like a candy cane! not the medicinal mint you would except. i like mine with a little cream in it.
This is a very relaxing kind of minty tea. It doesn't remind me of peppermint or spearmint at all though. It's just calming and the taste isn't even all that minty in comparison to straight mint teas. It was wonderful plain, but adding a little cream was a good as well.
It tasted like black tea with melted candy canes in it. If you like candy canes and black tea (as I do), this will be right up your alley. I added some milk to it and it was an excellent morning cup of tea.
This was a delightful surprise, way more than just a regular mint flavoured tea. There is a nice balance between the black and the mint flavour, with enough of a candy cane taste to be tasty but not overwhelming. I only ordered the sampler and now I'm wishing I had got a regular pouch because I'm tearing through it.

This is honestly the best tea I have ever had. I am in love! I drink it every morning and afternoon, and if I wasn't caffeine sensitive, I would drink it at night too. I was afraid the mint might be a bit overpowering, but it was not at all. It blends well with the tea and leaves a bit of a clean feeling in your mouth after every sip. (you know, like after you chew mint gum, but nowhere near as strong)

Reminds me of soft mint candy! Sweet and minty without being overwhelming.
It doesn't have a huge candy cane taste, and the smell is a bit deceptive but for the better, as I find the scent almost cloyingly sweet. The mint after taste that you get after a few sips reminds me of chewing a particularly minty gum in a very good way. I may buy a 3 oz package, but I'm not sure. Also the mint isn't over powering, which is lovely. It would be interesting in a blend I think.
I did like this tea but was looking for a little more candy cane flavour. Not as bold as I had hoped.
I was not expecting to love this tea as much as I do. It was tossed in as a free sample and I adore this tea! It's delightful with a touch of sugar and some milk. I don't often buy just plain flavoured teas that aren't sample sizes, since I tend to only buy blends, but I may just have to purchase this on its own!

It's delicious! It tastes like a great peppermint tea with some sweetness, and it slightly gives you that cooling peppermint sensation. I would definitely recommend this.
