I honestly didn't expect to enjoy this tea and much as I have! I've always been a mint fan, but I find most mint teas (except for a good moroccan mint)simply don't have the depth to impress. This tea is a great blend of black tea and mint that makes it refreshing - especially near the holidays, but I can see enjoying this on any cold night!
Very nice tea for Christmas! Much closer to a candy cane than just adding a little peppermint to black tea.
A great tasting tea! Don't expect it to taste like peppermint, I did, and that's so wrong. It literally tastes like a candy cane, minty, sweet, and a little creamy. I highly recommend this tea.

This one is so yumm. You dont even have to add sugar. Its smooth and fun. Perfect for cold night's. Its not overly minty which is perfect.

I don't know if the words exist for me to express how much I love this tea. First off, black tea is my go-to. I absolutely love peppermint and anything infused with candy cane. So, this tea was made for me. It has the perfect amount of sweet, minty joy that just gives me something to live for around the holidays, and calms me in such a way that I even refrain from acting on my violent thoughts towards people humming and singing Christmas songs at work.

The smell in the bag is straight up candy cane, and I love it. After brewing, though, it's creamy and minty without quite as much bite as the smell had me expecting -- which is great! I like to add a tiny bit of sugar.

3rd loose leaf tea I've ever tried. Favorite so far! Very smooth and reminds me more of butterscotch or something more than mint. Also smells AMAZING.
The candy cane on its own can be a little overpowering, but in a good way - this is definitely the strongest mint that Adagio offers. It's like a superpowered peppermint! (If you're looking for something with a smoother, creamier vanilla finish, the Vanilla Mint Escape is better. if you want a pure mint, then peppermint or even spearmint would be your tea.) But this is one pure rush of strong, strong minty flavor, and it's a really delicious tea. (If the mint's too overpowering, mix with nutty flavors for a nice treat - almond oolong cuts the mint nicely and adds a neat twist!) But this is a tasty holiday treat.
I could become a Guardian of Christmas with the power that this tea holds! Watch out, you might spread Christmas Cheer out of season if your not careful.
My boyfriend likes this one a lot. I still prefer the regular peppermint but this is nice when I want a little more caffeine.
Perhaps it's a little strange, but possibly what I enjoy *most* about this tea is its mad-aggressive snappish candy cane smell. When you open the bag, this tea makes a statement! Also surprising, though, (and quite possibly for the best): the tea itself is not mad-aggressively minty, just pleasantly chilly. The finish is the best part of the taste: black tea with a mild, creamy hint of mint gives way suddenly to a thrilling blast of cold air.
I will be honest. When I ordered this I expected to be disappointed. It would be either overwhelmingly peppermint, mint rather than peppermint, or just strangely unpleasant. I am shocked so say it tastes like peppermint candy canes. Perfect for a cool, rainy morning with a touch of sugar and splash of milk. Simply delicious.
This tea was an interesting experience. It was a crisp and refreshing change from the standard peppermint, however it was a bit syrupy -- possibly due to the actual candy cane pieces vice peppermint leaves. It was enjoyable, but I think I'll stick to the plain peppermint from here on out.

It is like drinking a candy cane. It taste has this buttery flavor and cool feeling as it goes down. It also smells like a candy cane but I not that big on candy so this one is just a treat. This would go great as pat of a blend.

Cany Cane is the first choice of younger set. My teenage boys enjoyed serving this tea to their study group during the holidays. Nothing makes a young woman's eyes sparkle more than a handsome young man who knows how to make a perfect pot of tea.

Surprisingly good considering the first time I tried it (at an Adagio store) I didn't like it at all. But as soon as I opened the bag this time, I was in love. Tastes very true to scent, with the buzzy bite of the peppermint mellowed by a sweeter, creamier flavor that makes me think vanilla. I really might have to consider getting more of this some time...
